Water Farm Granary was the perfect choice of accommodation for our mini break in Kent. Everywhere we visited: Port Lympe Safari Park, Romney Dunganess Railway and 2 pubs were no more than a 10 minute drive. The standard of the property was excellent from cleanliness, decoration, comfort and was well equipped. The welcome touches were well appreciated.
We stayed at the Granary with our granddaughters, as a base for port lympne Safari park.
Check in was very easy with a lock
box. On arrival everything was clean and tidy, all you would need to cook if you wish to. A good base for surrounding areas.
We had a relaxing time and can highly recommend this property for a lovely place to stay in Kent. The owner is very nice and hospitable, providing little treats in the house for us when we arrived.
We had a lovely little break here. The location is great for exploring the surrounding areas but equally the house is perfect for relaxing in.
Everything we needed was available with extra welcome supplies and treats too!
The outside space is lovely, a real escape ...I happily sat there watching the lambs - with dear McKenzie the cat on my lap!
Many thanks to Sue and Wilf.
Beautiful property even in December my family enjoyed our stay.
Well maintained property, the cottage and surrounding looks beautiful, even in December and rain we like the surrounding, the farm animals are plus for children, owner is good , the cottage was presented with all necessary and some extra add on which is much appreciated so if you miss something there is always something there thatâs so thoughtful.
In term of improvement May be smart tv will be better for long rainy winter stay, the wardrobe upstairs itâs bit wobbly that can be fixed but really minor observation .
The whole experience start to finish was fantastic. Check in was easy, the hosts were always available and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area
Location for this was perfect for our purposes but do agree with other reviewers that the traffic noise is intrusive at night if you're used to quiet.
This aside, the Owners have managed to think of everything and go to some lengths to make you feel welcome.
Very clean and I would judge covid compliant.
Thank you again for the welcome milk and fruit.
This property was lovely. The pictures on the website don't do the propery justice. Perfect.
This property is charming. The outside space is pretty with trees and plants. There is a paddock area where sheep graze and this is very restful. The cottage is quaint and very well appointed; it is charming and really lovely. The bedding is of high quality and there is everything one needs to cook an evening meal. The lounge area is comfortable and cosy. The photos on the website really don't do this property justice. There is so much greenery outside and space to sit and reflect. We enjoyed our stay very much and were sorry to leave.
My wife, toddler and I stayed here for three nights and found it a great base for exploring the area. The property was lovely; clean, well equipped and very homely. The sheep and goats just outside also went down well with our daughter! You have your own patio which in warmer weather we would have taken full advantage of. We visited Port Lympne wildlife park, Sissinghurst, Kent & East Sussex Railway, and Hythe Beach over the days we stayed, all within easy driving distance. We ate out at the local pub The Dukeâs Head one evening and had a great hearty meal with good service.
The owner of the property was very friendly and chatted with my wife from a distance when we crossed paths one morning. But we very much felt like we had our own space which was great. Definitely recommend!
Very clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation.
It would be very helpful to see the new Covid19 arrival and departure times on the HomeAway website.
We had an amazing stay and would recommend the property to other families
Great location, clean property with private areas away from the main house. Children loved seeing the animals in the morning and at night. Would highly recommend!
Das kleine Haus ist ein SchmuckstĂŒck. Jedes Detail ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Vielen Herzlichen Dank fĂŒr die Gastfreundschaft.
The small house is a jewel. Every detail is designed with a lot of love. It was thought of everything . We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much for the hospitality.
