We welcome you to Southbeach: sleeps 4 in 1 bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge and 1 shower room. Parking easy and free on street. Small outdoor patio space.

Lovely, comfortable flat in a great location, just steps from the seafront.

This is an attractive, clean, comfortable and well equipped flat. Not only is it a few steps from the seafront, you can walk to the cafes, shops and pubs in Hythe, and along the beautiful canal. Sal’s hospitality is top notch. Communication with her was easy, and we appreciated the flowers, snacks, wine and milk thoughtfully provided. We will stay here again when we return to the area.

Lovely Beach Stay

Wonderful location - so close to the beach. Lovely walks though the park and across the canal into the town. Clean and comfortable place with everything you need. Would definitely reccomend.

Fabulous space and location

Southbeach is a lovely apartment in the perfect location in Hythe, close to the beach, park, town centre and military canal. Sal was a wonderful host and made sure everything was perfect. We were there a month but could have stayed a lot longer. Would highly recommend

Lovely host and property

Excellent location, right near the beach and easy walk into Hythe. So much to do and see in this part of Kent. I saw the dolphins in Hythe Bay. Will need to go back soon

A very cosy place near the sea

Southbeach is such a cosy little flat in an excellent location. Everything you need and even more is there in this well-equipped place. Sal's welcome with flowers, crisps, wine and other goodies is so heart-warming. We're looking forward to our next stay.

A lovely place to stay

We have had a fabulous few days here in lovely Hythe! Thank you to Sal for making our stay so welcoming and comforting. This is one of the best equipped places we have stayed. We loved the steam train to Dymchurch and lovely beach there and enjoyed walks along the canal and proximity to beach here. Thanks for a perfect short break.

It does the job

Yard very small but enclosed for the dog. Not convenient for dog loo or sitting out. Location brilliant for beach, canal town centre or walking on field. Ideal for a couple to see Hythe and surrounding area.

Perfect Holiday

This is a very well appointed and serviced flat in the great location of Hythe. So much to do from walks along the promenade or canal, to visiting the independent shops and Malthouse market in the High Street. Plenty of places to buy food and cafes to enjoy a lunch. It’s also only a short drive to the vibrant Folkestone. The beach is super clean and safe for a swim and found the place very relaxing. Our host was extremely helpful and we appreciated the special touches and good supply of all the basics. We will most definitely stay here again.

Perfect for the seafront, easy walk to town

Cracking little property, literally yards from the seafront. Parking right outside. The town of Hythe a pleasant short walk through the park and across the canal. Cosy apartment, nicely kept. Very friendly and helpful owner, and nice welcome gifts. And very dog friendly, even providing a dog bed and bowl, and blankets to protect the furniture. Park immediately opposite very useful for morning and late night walkies. Highly recommended.

Great location in a lovely town

We loved everything about this flat - its location was brilliant, and the kitchen was fabulously equipped (although we ate out while we were there) The bed was very comfy, and the lounge was lovely and bright and had a view of the town across the playing fields. 30 seconds walk to the beach, about 5 minutes to the town. You can walk along the coast to Sandgate either via the promenade or the Royal Military canal which is the shady option. There is also an excellent bus service along the coast to Canterbury, Dover & Folkestone in one direction, and Rye in the other so you don't need to use your car to get around.

Super well equipped flat in a perfect location

Southbeach was the perfect the location for the two of us to extend our stay in Hythe. Just near the beach so we could pop over for evening paddles/swims after being out for the day. An unexpected bonus was the view from the living room over the playing fields to the church and houses on the hill. Southbeach has everything you need - great kitchen appliances if you want to cook, a dishwasher (I have a habit for forgetting to check this when booking), good shower. And last but by no means least, Sal is a very welcoming host, doing everything she can to make you feel at home and have a great stay.

This prperty is in a great location with green spaces and the beach less than a minute walk away. It was clean and well equipped. I think there should be a shower mat and grab rail because it is slippy. Sal has thought of us ladies because there are mirrors in very useful places.I found the beds not to comfortable but I managed. The big down side is people living uostaurs you can hear them and although they were thoughtful to noise it was distracting. Their front door which is just the other side of the living room wall was loud when being shut. I will stay again because my dogs loved the walks
