Property was nice. Easy beach access, heated pool, and the view from the balcony was exactly what we hoped for. Two beach chairs set up and available each day was convenient. Overall a great stay.

Pros - beautiful view of the ocean, easy umbrella & chair set up on beach, not a busy beach, fun sand bar for kids to skim board, perfect beach for professional family photos, condo layout & 3 bedrooms/3bath was nice, comfy beds, furniture was nice quality Cons - condo managed by property mgrs, not always responsive thru “contact host” app option, condo was dirty (floors, countertops, windows, trash laying around, hair in the shower drain, spots on fabric furniture, etc), noise from HWY 30A/pool/outdoor stairs

Perfect view. To be not picky- Furniture could use upgrading. Had issues with digital hvac unit shutting off periodically (kept temp at 71 per instructions not to turn it below 70), some dishes were dirty and a few stained towels, WiFi router had to be unplugged & replugged in several times due to WiFi going out. None of these were major issues and did not keep us from enjoying our stay. Would return. Monterey is our favorite!

Fantastic spot

This place had everything we needed for a great beach trip. Location is top notch. There are some steps to the beach, 45ish, but that’s common along that area. Pool was great, plenty of parking available. Unit was spacious with a great view. We will definitely look to return.

The property was a dream. Gorgeous, beautiful views of the ocean. Not crowded even going into a busy holiday. Though the property didn't say they had beach stuff, other guests did leave things behind and those were so nice to have. Even an extra fan for each room. Would be nice if it had an umbrella, but there is a spot that let you pick up and rent an umbrella for a week for 45 I think. For us it was super expensive to rent the daily beach set up by the vendor, 60/day. But everything there was so nice, the pool, the beach, the location, the palm trees. Felt like a dream to be in such a beautiful place. The balcony was lovely to sit out and watch the ocean. With lots of cozy seating. And so close to walk the beach too! This place even had an electric kettle, drip and keurig coffee machine's. Also there was a packn'play that someone left behind. I would just add, before buying/renting anything, check your place for things left behind, seems often that though it isn't stated, they let people leave some things for others use. And a lot of listings in this area have so many properties that they can't keep track of all the differing inventory that comes and goes. It was cozy and beautiful. The bedroom with the ensuite was so so nice. Loooots of games and puzzles too for rainy days. I would only add that communication is quick but follow up questions right after might not happen. I hope we can come to this dream place again someday.

Nice condo, good location

Condo was very nice, clean, well stocked. The kitchen layout is tricky (can't get into some of the cabinets and drawers without the oversized fridge door being open) and very limited food storage space, but ocean and pool view were fantastic. Would like to see recycling options, but the challenge is in the community versus specific to this condo. Bike path right outside and easy bike to eateries, shopping, etc.

Enjoyable stay at Monterey Place on 30A.

My wife and I enjoyed our time at Monterey Place on 30A. We were in B201 which is on the second floor on the south east corner by the pool. The view from our balcony was great and overall the condo was nice but could use a few updates and improvements (such as furniture and frying pans). Besides that it was nice to go to the private beach and have our two chairs and umbrella ready for us each morning. The area where the condo is located is nice but if you plan to eat out, many of the restaurants in the area are a little overpriced. But we typically just ate out once a day and bought groceries for the rest of the time. There is a Publix nearby. We look forward to returning to the area again and would possibly stay at Monterey Place too.

When we arrived the door code did not work. It was after 4:30,

Other than door code not working and my elderly husband had accident while waiting to get the door finally opened. Had to get new code. Too little too late. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at Monterey again but door code needs to function 😢

Great property, hope to return soon

We had a great stay at Monterey. The complex is 3 small buildings with a pool between two of the buildings. The beach is a short walk down some steps from the condos, which was very convenient. My 5 and 2 year old had no issues navigating the stairs. The unit is nicely decorated and very comfortable. As soon as my 5 year old saw the bunk beds, he insisted on sleeping on the top bunk all week, despite the queen or king bed available to him. The beds were extremely comfortable. Master bath upgrades were very nice. Kitchen had everything we needed - we cooked most meals in the condo and went out for a few dinners. One of the closets was stocked with beach toys and floats as well as a high chair. The unit also has a pack-n-play if needed. The living room furniture was also very comfortable. The units at Monterey would be great for a multi-family or couple beach getaway. There was plenty of space to spread out. We had another family of 4 join us for 1 night of the vacation and did not feel over crowded. We love the 30A area - and plan to return to this unit in the next year. It is 1.5 miles on the path to Rosemary and about 5 miles to Seaside.

Very clean and an incredible view as you are RIGHT on the water! It’s less than 1 mile from Alys and 2 miles from Rosemary - so a perfect location.

Amazing Beach!!!

We have stayed at the Monterey several times and just love it there. Our only complaint with this unit was that the wicker living room furniture with plywood under the cushions was terribly old and majorly uncomfortable. The kitchen sink needs updated but worked well. The unit was clean, had everything you needed to cook, good wifi and TV in every room. We highly recommend this property and five star checked on us often to make sure all was well.

Fun in the Sun

We enjoy being comfortable in Monterey B201. With 3 bathes, and 3 comfortable bedrooms, and a equipped kitchen, this unit is perfect. Balcony is a plus.

Nice place, close to beach.

Place was great, no carts for loading/unloading was difficult at best. Having to open the refrigerator to open the drawer in the kitchen was a poor design.

We had a lovely week at the beach! Our condo was clean with lots of amenities.
