Thank you for your review and for highlighting the aspects you enjoyed, especially the magnificent views, the quiet location, and the early check-in we were pleased to offer. We are sorry that some elements of your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Regarding the access to the terraces, we are surprised by your comments as both the photos and the video published in the listing clearly show the staircase leading to the terrace areas. We always encourage guests to review all listing information, photos, and videos before booking to ensure the property suits their needs. Concerning the BBQ, due to local regulations and fire prevention measures, the use of barbecues is prohibited during periods of high fire risk, which is common in our area during certain seasons. This restriction is in place for the safety of all guests and neighbouring properties. We appreciate your feedback regarding the maintenance items you mentioned and will review them with our team. We continuously invest in the property and work hard to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests. Most importantly, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the house, its location, and its exceptional views. Our goal is always to create the best possible stay for every guest, and we will continue working to improve wherever possible. Thank you again for your feedback.

Amazing sunset views

Great value, the house not modern and we had some issues in the bathroom, communication with the host is not the best. But I would recommend this house, this is the best views you will get in Ibiza, sunsets are amazing. It is a bit far from downtown, but not too bad. Overall great experience if you value the views.

Amazing stay

We had a great stay at Can Avy, Antonio allowed us to check in early and we were helped with our bags when we arrived which made everything so much easier as there was 16 of us. The views were 10/10 and the villa so lovely with everything you needed. Signal wasn't great around the area so recommend to pre-book taxis as we did but all very simple. Would definitely come back to stay here- we loved it!

A wonderful place in a spectacular setting

The house is set in a a hill overlooking the ocean with magnificent views that constantly invite you to relax and enjoy. The house is more that what I expected in a truly ibizenco style, roomy and with all the amenities that we needed. We had a spectacular time celebrating my birthday and the new year among friends and look forward to repeat a stay at this wonderful place in the future. 16 people stay 21-25 April

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this villa, the pictures do not do it justice! The shared spaces were huge & there was more than enough room for everyone. Great views & a lovely outdoor space by the pool. The host was easy to contact if needed. A hire car or arranged transport is definitely required but we found that fairly straightforward to prebook. Would definitely recommend staying in this villa!! Thank you Antonio :)

Such a great villa

We had an amazing stay. Such a beautiful spot. Its a remote area of the island but everything is reachable by taxi or car. We were left alone to do our thing and had a fantastic time. Every time we walked outside we felt blessed by the view, absolutely gorgeous. There isn't really any phone signal and unfortunately, a storm had taken out the wifi whilst we were there. If connectivity is super important to you that could be an issue but we really enjoyed switching off from everything

What a view!

We had a fabulous holiday! The pool is lovely & the view is amazing! The villa was large enough for us 12 girls. It’s a bit out of the way but we had a lovely taxi driver Emanuel who took us wherever we needed to go. I spoke to Carlos about some improvements to update the villa & he said he will make changes for next year. We would love to come back!

House disappointing and not ready to receive guests

We were a group of 13 women, arrived for some nice rest and pleasant visit to a beautiful Island. The view indeed amazing. But during our 5 holidays there was a lot of unrest, since the house caused a lot of displeasure. The swimming pool we could not use for 3 of the days, because it was too dirty and needed proper treatment, the electricity failed every now and then at critical moments, bedrooms that cause a danger to our health (black mold), water that was missing at critical moments and the general poor state of cleanliness in general.

Ibiza special hideaway

Having spent a lovely week in Ibiza the villa was the idea place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings ! Very spacious in size the beds were comfortable plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms for our party of 10 .Antonio the owner was very helpful dealing with all my queries swiftly from sorting out a cook to provide us lunch one day at the villa , recommending local restaurants to eat at ? Giving us tips to grocery shop at the bigger supermarkets that offer better pricing than the local places which proved good advice ! Dealing with taxis was also a very useful asset as it can be hard finding them without being in the know . On a slight down side some of the bathroom are suffering with a bit of lime scale buildup and could do with a bit of TLC ? But overall a lovely place to stay if your looking for a quite restful holiday on this most beautiful side of the island it would be hard to find a better villa !! Many thanks to all those who looked after us !!

Not off season

View is amazing but only three bedrooms in the main house. You have to exit the house and go varying distances to get to the other bedrooms. Most rooms had twin beds except the two bedrooms in the main house and one other bedroom. The house is not suitable in the winter if the heat is not put on the day before. Some rooms did not have blankets. The kitchen had one old coffee maker which took 40 minutes to brew. We had to buy soap for bathrooms, salt and pepper. No basics provided. The dishwasher broke after one use and electricity went out three times due to incorrect wiring. Washing dishes by hand for a group was not how we wanted to spend vacation. It is a 30 minute drive to town unless you are familiar with the roads. We made the trip 8 times and never made it in under 30 minutes. Washing machine stained clothes. No bbq due to safety which is a shame because it would have relieved electrical demands in the kitchen. Kitchen table seats 16 which was great. Wifi was spotty and only worked in main house on main floor. The hot water system is deficient for large groups, the water tank allows for at most one or 2 showers before the hot water runs out. The premises and windows were dusty and dirty, particularly the floors which hadn't been washed or swept throughout. - overall, the villa is in need of a thorough cleaning. Staff were very responsive and tried to help with issues as they arose. Owner was responsive on WhatsApp but ultimately we were disappointed.

Stunning view with breathtaking sunsets but....

We were robbed on our second night whilst we were all in the villa. There is no safety deposit box and the patio where the thieves came through is easily accessible as well as the door not closing properly without a good push. You must be security conscious at all times in this villa! The thieves definitely knew where they were going as they were disturbed and seen running from the villa in the dark managing the stairs with great ease that even during the day anyone would have to take care on if they weren't familiar. I have been to Ibiza on a number of occasions and rented numerous villas and this is definitely the best view in Ibiza. But in our opinion the villa is very very tired and poorly maintained, it had the feeling of the end to a long hard seasons abuse rather than the start of the season. The villa is not ideal for entertaining 14 adults. There is only dining room around the table for 12 and sun beds for 5. Despite the facilities description there is no BBQ. There is only a very small kitchen and whilst working - old appliances and inadequate for example a 2 slice toaster only. Many of the cups are chipped quite badly. There are glasses but only a few plastic ones that you would want to take to the poolside. We were told that there no BBQ because the villa is in an area at risk of forest fires but the other villas below us where BBQing. There is no outside catering facilities at all. Only one fridge so it is a trek from the pool to kitchen. There is only a small table for 6 beside the pool. There is a lovely 'snug' type room just off the main dining patio but we were unable to use it due to the gross staining on the cushions that cover the room. We washed some towels as they weren't changed in the week but the tumble drier didn't really work and the clothes airer was rusty. The overall style of the villa is lovely but tired. The bathrooms were excellent but there are broken toilet seats in the main villa. One of the bedroom shutters doesn't work. And the bed in the master genuinely makes so much noise it kept me awake. Just turning in it causes a lot of noise - take ear plugs if you are not a deep sleeper! The location is definitely the best thing about this villa. The walking around there is lovely. Be aware that the road down to the villa is very bumpy.

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback and apologizes for the delay as i was in a bussinnes tryp . In regards to your opinions I would like to give the following answers and comments: After the Police investigation there were no forced entry, no damages on window or doors. The property is surrounded by a large high wall all around for security. If you say you lost value things we told you to go to the police and with your insurance get it back, but you did not. We have never had any robbery in this villa and it is a safe and quiet neighbourhood in the Island. We are always striving to get better and maintain the villa everyyear. After your stay we have made real improvements to the villa, both in and outside for make a incredible stay in the villa. We love our home and we want all people staying in the villa enjoy as much as we do! I am happy you liked the view and location. I hope your overall stay in Ibiza was satisfactory and i am happy you enjoy the villa and vews! They are incredible! I am happy to help you and support you with all you need, and it is a petty you did not call me or mention anything till you came back home. Kind regards, Carlos

I love decoration and all little details of the villa I've been made to make our stay there as comfortable as possible. Now I built an other villa in another area of the island so I rent my family house. I've been spending all my life travelling all around the world, I love all different cultures and I am happy to offer my house to people who can enjoy the island. From the villa you will appreciate incredible views that will make you feel in paradise. I hope you can enjoy our family summer house in Ibiza.
