Brilliant stay at this very comfortable and well set up villa for a friends wedding nearby. Great rooms and facilities as well as the pool. Would definitely return!
Villa Edith was fantastic. Deanna presents the property in excellent state, very clean and comfortable. All the rooms have access to bathroom/shower rooms. The kitchen is well equipped. Lovely to provide beach/pool towels. First class accommodation set in vineyards. Lots to do nearby. Deanna was wonderful throughout.
We've just returned from a wonderful week at this French Villa. The photo's really don't do it justice - the house is so big, beautifully presented and is surrounded by pretty vineyards in a lovely part of France.
The owner Deanna was so helpful and had thought of everything with the welcome pack!
We were a family with lots of young children who spent the whole time in the amazing pool! Thank you so much!
Easy to book. The accommodation was amazing . For us it was perfect as we have four children aged 15,13,5,3 so the house offered all of them space to relax. The garden was lovely and the pool wonderful . Views from the roof terrace perfect .

Beautiful villa in beautiful location
Such a lovely villa in a beautiful part of France. A fantastic base for exploring this region. Wonderfully presented and flexible accommodation which is great for a group or family and comes with the added bonus of a private pool. We used the villa as accommodation for some of our wedding guests at a nearby Chateau but would love to return for a holiday next year. The hosts were incredibly helpful and informative which made booking and the stay all the more enjoyable. Thank you very much indeed!
We had a wonderful long weekend at Villa Edith! The villa is stunning with large bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen.
We were a group of friends celebrating a friends wedding round the corner, but the villa would be amazing for families as the pool has a security alarm and thereâs a football area and big trampoline!
Itâs quiet, peaceful and surrounded by vineyards. We loved it!
Beautiful Villa in heart of rural vineyards and close to Dordogne river
We were a family of 9 and Villa Edith was just perfect for us , lovely old typical French Villa in rural setting surrounded by vineyards. The Villa was very well equipped and had lovely pool and gardens and outdoor eating area. Just idyllic in every way. Our host lived nearby and was very helpful and her recommendations on local restaurants and places to visit were most helpful. We all really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely go back again
My Dream farm house, beautiful location, full of Character, plenty of space. The family enjoyed the swimming pool, which also had an alarm for small children. In the perfect setting of a French Vine Yard with an amazing Chateaux 5 mins away.
We all enjoyed un fresco Dining outside most evenings.
Would recommend this great Venue.
Thank you to our host.
To celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and my sons 30th birthday, we decided to book a villa in France and invite all the family. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Villa Edith was gorgeous - beautifully decorated, wonderfully comfortable beds and linen, wonderful garden and pool, a lovely location and a great kitchen to cook in too. I would highly recommend it.

As an Australian with an adventurous spirit and a sense of wanderlust, a lover of good food and wine someone who appreciates a touch of finesse I have found myself in a very happy place. Luckily my husband is a very easy going Englishman and my three teenage boys don't know any different. Crisp winters and long balmy summers are a few of the draws that keep us here. But for me, more importantly, having landed on foreign soil my insatiable appetite for new discoveries is constantly being fed. The gentle and fair approach to life here in France appeals to my sense of inner calm, the history, and in turn the culture appeals to my ongoing adventurous side and my desire to know more. Family and friends (and a few treats now and then) are all important, and spending time together.
Living in SW France enables us as a family to live life at our own pace and not feel the pull to join any race. We live with tranquility and space and with a strong sense of community. Twice a year we enjoy an evening of food and wine with the people of Juillac organised by the Maire which constantly consolidates our feelings of belonging to a community. I'm sure any visitor will feel this warmth and friendliness. The landscape is marvellous. We live amongst stretches of immaculate vines. Wildlife is abundant with deer, wild-boar, game birds to name a few. The River Dordogne is a stones throw for walks, swims and canoeing. Fishing is great. There are fabulous historic towns that act as backdrops to weekly markets and some of the finest wines in the world are at our doorstep.
You wont have far to venture to take a canoe trip down the Dordogne, ride a horse at a local equestrian centre, visit a lake with man made beach and playground. It's easy to go on a culinary adventure, cook to your hearts content and put on a great spread for all to share. Learn more on a wine tasting course. See the spectacular re-enactment of the final battle of the hundred years war in Castillion. The local tourist office will keep you right up to date with the latest festival, concert, art expo or ChĂąteaux and gardens opening times. Eat out in great restaurants or informally at a local night-market enjoying music and a bottle of local wine. St Emilion, Bordeaux and the Lascaux caves all have been awarded UNESCO heritage status, beauty & wonder abounds and all is waiting to be explore.
