This is a great apartment and we would certainly use it again. Very reasonable for central York, spotless and great location. Overlooks the river and literally 5 minutes walk from the Minster.
Everything you would need including a welcome supply of basics ( milk / bread etc)
Private off road parking was also a real plus.
The owners were very welcoming and accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay in York...and in Riverside House...very much. York is a beautiful city, which we've visited before, and this was a chance to see some familiar sites and to visit with friends who live there, so we were OUT of our accommodations most of the time. But everything was at hand and very convenient when we were in. The location was ideal, only a few minutes from the Minster, which is a common and convenient meeting point, and we were very pleased with the price and all facilities. Everything was laid out and ready for use...with a fully set dining table!...even though we ate out during our stay. Peter was a most genial host, and answered all our questions, ensuring our stay worked out well. Highly recommendable!
This is a lovely spacious flat, in a convenient location (5 minutes walk to the centre of York).
The listing was very accurate. It was clean, we were welcomed by the very friendly owners who explained everything we needed to know and shared some local knowledge. They also very kindly supplied essentials such as bread, milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, loo rolls etc.

Peter,Carol and Rachael for almost 20 years ran one of York's most popular guest houses and as such have a wealth of experience to advise on tourist information. Rachael has also spent many years managing restaurants within the city and as such can advise on the perfect eating place.
We have recently brought Riverside House to the holiday let scene. Having been refurbished to a high standard. as well as being very spacious the apartment boasts a private garden area and comes with allocated off street parking space. It is ideally placed for the city centre, and has many restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Living close to the apartment we are readily available to sort out any small problems should they occur.
