Villa Marina est une construction récente. Il est situé dans le charmant village de Kathikas. C'est un endroit idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir la "vraie Chypre". Le charmant village de Kathikas se trouve à proximité de Polis et Paphos, il est situé dans une belle campagne, parfait pour la marche, l'observation des oiseaux, la photographie, la peinture. La villa est au centre du village sur une route secondaire. Située à 700 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, la température pendant les mois d'été est 5 degrés plus frais que sur la côte. La piscine privée est située dans un jardin arboré. Il y a 4 climatiseurs à partir du 23/07/2016 et aura une charge (5euro par unité par jour) mais seulement à partir de toute réservation future. Chauffage central disponible pour l'hiver (en supplément)

Spacious and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved having some much space and the pool and huge kitchen were great. Such a cute quiet town and location. Our host was very friendly and accommodating.

An amazing place to stay for a relaxing holiday!

Yet again a lovely holiday. A great villa in a lovely village that has a local shop and bars and restuarants. The hosts are amazing, couldnt be more helpful and feel like family. Shops and beaches a short drive away. Would always return to this villa for a holiday!

Beautiful villa

Amazing large spacious villa in a perfect location in the small village of Kathikas. Villa had everything you could need, pool great size and well maintained with lots seating area outside to have your pick off. Host really helpful and we had a welcome pack of food and drink that was very appreciated waiting for us when we arrived . There a few small taverns on your door step and food was great with really friendly people. Yianni’s tavern was great with friendly staff amazing food and service and great value for money, would definitely recommend. Also about a 3 minute walk from villa is an oriental restaurants The Farm Yard, again amazing food and fab location .We couldn’t fault the Villa at all and would definitely go back.

Villa Marina was superb throughout our weeks familt holuday. The size of the villa (over 3 levels) was brilliant , the large private pool amazing. The welcome pack of basic essentials was really appreciated . I would highly recommend for a family holiday. Transport is essential as Kathikas is a 10 minute drive from main towns.

A beautiful Villa in a pretty village

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Marina. It is situated in the beautiful village of Kathikas which has a well stocked shop, a bar and several tavernas. Everyone was so friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. We would recommend Yiannis Taverna where we had several delicious meals in a lovely garden setting. The villa itself was fantastic, it had everything we needed for our stay, was clean and it has a great pool area with a games room/bar. Owner Marina could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We would absolutely recommend a stay at Villa Marina, we can't wait to go back!

Villa Marina

Stayed at Villa Marina (group of 6) from 20th June for one week. Good location in small village, close to bars, restaurants and small supermarket all within walking distance. Large spacious villa with all you need. Lovely pool which is cleaned twice a week. Plenty of sun or shade. Host is very nice and helpful. We loved it here and will return when we can! 😎👍

Beautiful house in lovely village

Villa Marina is a beautiful large property. The pool and outdoor area are a definite highlight as well as snooker and table tennis. There are lots of seating areas and the bedrooms are a great size. Marina was very helpful with all my questions and we appreciated the welcome basket greatly as we arrived late to the property. The villa is located within a beautiful village with several dining options and a shop just a very short walk away. We did find the noise levels a bit disturbing, cockerels and dogs barking at night and building of the road outside the villa during the day. I felt like parts of the villa needed a deep clean but overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Fantastic Stay in Villa Marina. Kathikas

Top class value for money villa, set in the hills above Paphos and Coral and just a 20 min drive from either, Lapsi beach is also quite close. Everything needed was available at the villa, with a reasonable size pool. There was also a food pack there on arrival, very good for late arrival. It's set in an authentic village. It's not an overlarge but had a small store (a supermarket was a 10 minute drive away) and a god mix of restaurants. Marina, the owner, was quick to respond, if required, they also own a restaurant at Paphos harbour which we can thoroughly recommend, visited twice in our 1 week stay. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely family holiday

We had a lovely relaxing holiday at villa marina. It was like a home from home everything we needed was there. On arrival the villa was clean with all the essentials needed to avoid us needing to find a supermarket straight away. We had planned on lots of sight seeing but our children, aged 16, 11 & 10 just wanted to play in the pool or have a game of table tennis. Highly recommend the local village tavernas especially Imogen's, added bonus is it's walking distance so you can sample the local wines. Would also recommend the owners restaurant The Moorings, not walking distance but worth the journey, fantastic food & a menu that means everyone will find something they like; also brill place if you have younger children as there is a play area, great idea. We had such a lovely time we are hoping to return next summer

The house was a great size - so much room for a family of 5. All 4 bedrooms had air con and tons of wardrobe/storage space. We were there in July and definitely needed the air con. Downstairs was a large lounge/dining area and kitchen. The kitchen really had everything you could need in it. Then in the basement was a full size pool table and outside table tennis table which both got well used. There are 2 cats who visit daily. We are cat people so bought some food for them and fed them outside. They were very good and somehow knew not to come inside the house. The owner Marina left us a welcome pack of bread, milk, cheese, water etc which was much appreciated as we arrived late. The shop in the village is amazing! The couple who run it are lovely and friendly and they literally stock everything! We did a big Lidl shop the first day but just used the village shop after that. We ate out almost every night so it was just food for the day really. Yiannis Tavern in the village was our favourite restaurant there. They give you free bread, garlic bread and a Greek salad each time then delicious home made cheesecake at the end of the meal. Other than that we ate out in Polis or Coral Bay. Highlights other than the Villa were hiring a boat from Latchi for the morning, a local waterfall walk and many visits to Corallia beach. Obviously the pool at the house was a big hit and there were plenty of loungers and shade if needed. Equally there was all day sunshine there.

Nous avions été très satisfait de notre séjour, la maison est vraiment grande et a tout le matériel utile dont on aurait besoin. Le village est vraiment charmant, et l'emplacement est top 👌. Il y a de bons restaurants dans le village, avec une petite supérette ( très pratique ). Et puis nous remercions Marina,la propriétaire qui nous a très bien accueilli, une personne vraiment adorable. Elle a un restaurant à Paphos "the moorings", qui est vraiment délicieux. Nous recommandons à 100%

Tolles Haus in toller Umgebung

Sehr gut eingerichtetes Haus, alles vorhanden, was wir benötigen, um uns rundum wohl zu fühlen. Wir haben speziell die Außenanlagen sehr gerne genutzt. Kathikas ist ein sehr schönes Dorf und viele Ausflugsziele in der näheren Umgebung. Wir waren sehr froh, vom sehr touristischen Paphos entfernt zu sein.

Quiet village Gem

The villa is located in the lovely village of Kathikas in the mountains above coral bay. The village has a local shop and several taverns serving a wide variety of foods. The locals are very friendly. A larger supermarket can be found in Coral Bay (approx 15 mins drive), where there is also a lovely sandy beach. The villa is spacious and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The villa has a great family size pool and a good garden and bbq area. The owners are very friendly and couldn't do any more to make our stay any more welcome. This is a lovely villa for a relaxing family holiday , a car is a necessity.

Everything we wanted and more

From the moment we arrived at this property we were impressed. Its was very spacious with great size bedrooms. The villa was clean and well presented and had a lovely homely feeling. Great facilities and our children loved the games area and the pool. The position of the villa was perfect and so close to all the village restaurants and its facilities. If you have never been to Kathikas you are missing out as both the village and this villa have everything you want from a holiday in Cyprus. We had great communication with the host before and during our holiday and felt reassured that they were contactable if we needed anything.

Gorgeous holiday in Kathikas, Paphos

Our 4th summer holiday in Cyprus and hands down the best one! We were a party of 7 including an 11 & 13 year old. We all had such a lovely time we didn't want to come home. Lovely large, spacious villa with lovely outdoor space. This villa.has everything you could.possibly need. Set in a village location, only 2 minute stroll to the local.shop, cafe and restaurants. Lovely friendly local residents. Due to its higher altitude location there was always a gentle breeze which makes it so much more bearable during the hottest months of the year. The location of the villa was also only a short drive to many lovely beaches, supermarkets and Coral Bay. The owners are a lovely family that were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and made themselves available at any time. Highly recommend this villa and a visit to their restaurant 'The Moorings' in Kato Paphos where we enjoyed 2 lovely meals. We will be returning for future holidays!

Fantastic family holiday

We had an amazing time at Villa Marina. The property was very clean and tidy when we arrived and well stocked with everything we could need during our stay. The pool was well kept and we all had a lot of fun in it over the 2 weeks we stayed for! Kathikas is a beautiful little village with several restaurants, cafés and bars to visit and both the staff in these establishments and the locals of the village are extremely friendly. We had a visit from the owner, Panicos, on our second day there to check everything was okay and he was very friendly, and he invited us to visit his restaurant in Paphos harbour, which we did. Very nice food and drink and customer service second to none. The villa is very spacious and beautifully laid out. Would definitely recommend Villa Marina to others. Absolutely 5 stars*****! Thank you for a lovely stay, we'll hopefully be back one day! Clarke party of 8 (6 adults 2 children)

A villa built and shared with love!

We have recently returned from our stay at Villa Marina. It was an 'out of season' break and unfortunately, the weather was not kind! However, we could all imagine that this would be an ideal venue for families who want to stay away from the coast and retreat to the quiet of a friendly village. Although the building has different 'floors' each has a stair gate so that even small children can be kept safe. The pool looked very inviting and has recently been refurbished, however it is not heated and was too cold for us to enjoy. Marina and her husband are extremely friendly, genuine people who came out of their way twice to put on the central heating for us. Their restaurant, 'The Moorings', in Paphos is well worth a visit - you would not be disappointed by the food, the setting or the welcome! Although we found some of the fixtures and fittings a little 'tired' ( maybe because this was so early in the year) we would highly recommend this villa and hopefully, will return at a warmer time with a group of friends and family.

Beautiful, well-equipped, spotless and spacious villa that is fantastic for a family holiday

We recently enjoyed a fantastic one-week stay at Villa Marina. We were two families together - our family with children aged 11, 13 and 16 and two adults as well as two of the children's grandparents. The villa was perfect :-) We found the rooms extremely spacious and well-designed to suit the weather with cooling marble-type floors, high ceilings and plenty of large windows that let in a lovely breeze (most days). Although the weather was unusually hot, the villa stayed relatively cool and we could always find a shady spot outside among the wide choice of balconies/terraces/shaded seating areas. The pool was also a great way to cool off, again with plenty of shade provided for those who didn't want to swim. The table tennis, pool table and darts board also made for an easy holiday with a varied age range. We greatly appreciated the well-equipped and maintained kitchen as well as the chance to bbq by the pool. The village of Kathikas is itself very picturesque, charming and friendly and offers some extremely good opportunities for eating out. We found Marina to be very quick to react to and answer any questions we had both before and during our stay. We also had the pleasure of meeting Marina's husband who was equally friendly and helpful. Our only regret is that we hadn't booked to stay longer! Fantastic! Perfect family holiday

We stayed at the beautiful Villa Marina for two weeks this summer. The villa has everything you need for a relaxing carefree holiday. The beautifully cared for garden made the perfect space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Kathikas. Marina made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The games room was great! Cold beers on tap from the fridge allowed us to spend all day outside - only venturing inside to make lunch in the well equipped kitchen. The large villa can accommodate either one large family or two or three smaller ones. It's our (big) secret LOVE IT!

Lovely family friendly villa

We had a great stay at Villa Marina. The villa is very spacious, the village interesting and welcoming. Marina and Panicos are delightful thoughtful hosts. Our party are already recommending the villa and planning our future returns.

Exactly what we wanted

We stayed in villa Marina in August , it was exactly what we wanted .spacious clean and the pool was beautiful . It had everything we needed.if we had any questions ,which were few Marina answered them very quickly. This was the sixth time that we have stayed in Cyprus and it was definitely the most relaxing.it was stress free from beginning to end . Kathikas is a beautiful village with a small shop,bar and a few restaurants within 5mins walk . Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. There isn't anything negative I can say , and we will be staying in villa Marina again, very soon I hope. A big THANKYOU John ,Hazel ,Ella and Maddie Verden

We are a "youngish" couple who built a lovely home
that we cannot live in unfortunately. Thus decided to
give other people the opportunity to do so. I'm
Marina, short, brown hair, brown eyes. My husband is
tall, slightly overweight, grey hair, brown eyes.
We have three children, (that are starting to drive us
slightly insane) but we love them anyway. I think its
important to mention that we are easy going and do not fuss over little things.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We decided to build the property in Kathikas
because we thought it to be a good investment at the
time. We love the village life style, the locals and of course the country side. We actually stay at the villa
when we have no bookings during the winter months.
My husband loves mushroom hunting, and working in his
vineyards. Unfortunately producing grapes is not very profitable thus we have a restaurant in the busy tourist area of Kato Paphos.(making it impossible to live up in the village) Its a place where one can really relax.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Villa Marina is a house where one can have privacy without been in the middle of no where! It is entirely
enclosed. The swimming pool is private. Everything in Kathikas is in walking distance. The local taverns, the coffee shops, the pub, the local bank. The villa is not situated near any main roads, thus been dangerous for young children, and noisy. The Local church is also very close to the villa all visitors are welcome. In April during our easter time, we have midnight mass which is very interesting to many tourists. August is also a lovely month to visit Kathikas, the local festival takes place round the middle of August where there are traditional dancing, food and of course wine.
