Beautiful villa, great position

We had a wonderful stay at Chez Moi. The villa is beautiful. Very clean and tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. The outside space and pool are not large but plenty big enough for what we needed (5 adults) and there’s a really lovely large balcony upstairs too. The previous reviewer mentioned problems with bird poo but we certainly didn’t have that problem, not even once. It must just have been unlucky timing for them. The pool cleaner came every 2/3 days so the pool was kept clean and topped up. We had a problem with the WiFi breaking whilst we were there but a message to Maria, who contacted Maria the housekeeper, and the engineers were there to replace the router at 9am the next morning. Very efficient. Maria the housekeeper is lovely, welcoming and very accommodating. The villa is located in a very good position, close to the small supermarket and a few bars and restaurants in the old town if you fancy a quieter evening. It took us about 20 mins to walk to the marina which was much livelier but still felt lovely and safe. Lots and lots of restaurants and bars with plenty of al fresco dining options. We found it quite hard to get a taxi from the old town but enjoyed the walk down to the marina anyway. Coming back, there is a taxi rank just up the steps to the left of the Haagen Dazs shop, but again, it’s a very pleasant walk back. The beach is on both sides of the marina so about a 20 minute walk but you can get the noddy train door to door. They come about every 30 minutes (timetables are posted on bus stops and at the supermarket). All in all, we had a really lovely relaxing holiday, and couldn’t fault anything. We will definitely go back soon.

Beautiful and spacious

Only two problems first,the loungers and the pool area regularly had bird poo because of the amount of birds flying over the villa (not much can be done about that) and second,the boys were in the pool daily and the pool could have beeen doing with a clean in the middle of the week because it was getting quite dirty.apart from that the villa is beautiful and our stay was very enjoyable and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at your villa again.

A beautiful Villa in a superb location.

The Villa had everything we could wish or have need of. It is located just 50 metres from the Supermarket and the entrance to The Old Village. The property was spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool was just the right temperature and the were plenty of towels and sunloungers. No queuing needed first thing in the morning! The housekeeper who met us was punctual and very welcoming. When it was time to leave she was more than accommodating allowing us the leave our bags in the Villa while we had our last lunch. All in all a very pleasant holiday in lovely Villa. Wouldn't rule out being back soon!

Fantastic villa.

We stayed here for 10 days for our wedding/honeymoon. We got married in the Old Village so this villa was the perfect location. Very modern and tastefully furnished. We loved the outside dining area and the pool was great for the kids. We did not want to leave this place.......but will definitely be back. The only fault was we found the beds to be quite hard, nothing that a good mattress topper wouldn't fix though.

Lovely Villa

We loved the villa. Very modern and comfortable with enough space for our needs. The master bedroom was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening and watching the sun go down. The location was great. We had the old village opposite which was lovely and quaint. It was very quiet and peaceful and yet still had a few restaurants and bars with a small supermarket. There was a lovely little land train that you could use to go down to the marina but we enjoyed the walk and it only took us 15mins. The marina was lovely. Nice and relaxed in the day and plenty of restaurants available to choose from for lunch. At night it was very busy and my teenage children enjoyed watching the hustle and bustle whilst eating dinner overlooking all the expensive boats moored there. The quality of the meals we had were all excellent and we ate out every evening in either the old village or the marina. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday, lovely villa, great location, gorgeous weather. We would love to go back. Thank you for letting us book your villa Maria and for being very helpful throughout the whole booking process. We would also like to say that Maria the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. Lovely week at Villa Chez Moi

We recently returned from a wonderful week long stay at Villa Chez Moi. The photos give a great impression of the villa and we certainly weren't disappointed. The decor is clean, modern and clearly well cared for. We were only a couple but the villa offers plenty of space for a family. As well as being well-equipped the villa is, in our opinion, in a fantastic location. It has the quiet comfortable feel of the old village with the shop and local restaurants only a minute from the front door. We had visited Vilamoura before and loved being able to walk down to the Marina (15mins) or Falesia beach (20mins); the ideal distance being away from the hustle and bustle but easily accessible. Maria was very helpful during our email correspondence prior to the trip and obviously keen that we had everything we needed during our stay. When we arrived, the housekeeper also made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. We would definitely recommend the villa to others and hope to return ourselves.

Excellent location and gorgeous villa 😎

We had a wonderful stay at villa Chez Moi. The accommodation was fantastic. Very clean and spacious. Chez Moi was probably the best villa we have stayed in whilst staying in Vilamoura over the past few years. It was meticulously decorated with lovely French style furniture in the upstairs very luxurious en-suite bedroom. This bedroom had a gorgeous private balcony with some lovely views. The 2 other bedrooms were perfect with lovely built in wardrobes giving extra space in the rooms. The kitchen was fabulous and the sitting room led out to a gorgeous pool and dinning area. It really was a home away from home. We stayed here with 2 young boys and it was v safe with a small pool with steps to ease them in. The location was fantastic. Directly across from the 'Old Village'. Which has lots of restaurants and bars. There is also a mini supermarket which is literally less 1 minute walk from the door. This had all the basics you will need. The 'old Village' has some really lovely places to eat especially the steak house. The road train departs almost outside the door about a 30 second walk. This takes you into the marina. Or you can also book a taxi from a company that operates mini bus service frequently from the entrance to the Old village. We will certainly be back here. Maria was wonderful to deal with and was quick to respond to any queries before we arrived!!

Perfect

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Villa Chez Moi in early October. The villa is beautiful and in a perfect location to experience everything Vilamoura and the rest of the region has to offer. The Old Village, with a supermarket and a few nice bars and restaurants, is across the road, and a 10 to 15 minute walk takes you to the marina. The villa is immaculate and has everything you could need. The quality of all the fittings and furniture is excellent. The outside areas are very well kept and the pool, although not huge, was fine for us to have a dip. The outside seating on the patio outside the back of the villa next to the pool and the roof terrace is great and the bbq gave us the opportunity for some lovely evenings in the garden. Maria the owner provided excellent instructions and information all the way through booking to the end of our stay. All in all it was everything we hoped for, and more. We will definitely return!

Enjoyable, relaxing time at Villa Chez Moi

We had a great time at the villa, it had everything we could possibly need. The kids enjoyed the pool and they played securely in the front garden area. The location was ideal having the shop just over the road and a few restaurants minutes away. We spent a lot of time at the marina which was only a 15 minute walk away. We also visited the water park & the go-carts in Almancil which were only 10 minutes by taxi. We would definitely recommend Villa Chez Moi to anyone and we hope to visit again soon.

Feeling relaxed..

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at Villa Chez moi. Great property clean and modern in ideal location - short distance to Marina which has some excellent restaurants. Hope to return in the future.

Vilamoura Gem

Just back from a wonderful week at Villa Chez Moi. It was all we had hoped for and much more. It's absolutely beautiful, we didn't want to come home! Just wished we had been staying longer. The decor, furnishings, pool, gardens and quiet location were all excellent. Don't think we have stayed in such a well equipped villa! The outside areas had the sun from morning till night and the sunbeds were a real bonus. The upstairs terrace had views to die for and it was great watching the sunrise in the mornings. Really enjoyed having the Old village over the road, with its lovely streets, small supermarket and restaurants. No need for a car as the villa is only a 15 minute walk to the marina with lots of nice restaurants, a 5 minute walk to a large supermarket and 20 mins walk to the beach. Just loved Villa Chez Moi and Vilamoura and would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone. Maria the owner was very helpful and provided quick responses to e mails etc. Already thinking about a return visit next year. Thank you.

We even found that there are many restaurants in the vicinity where you could pick up a take away and have it in the comfort of your home. Or you can just walk across to the Old Village and relax on the terrace while having a meal or a cocktail. Vilamoura offers you everything. From casual to chic the choice is yours.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I love Vilamoura because it offers so much. From casual dining on the beach to World Class shows in the Vilamoura Casino. Children can be kept busy all holiday, from beach to tennis to horse riding to cycling, day trips to the grottos to simply a swim at home or a stroll at the marina. Its safe and everything is close. Going out is affordable! For golfers, you are spoilt for choice with 7 courses at your doorstep. Its just a great place.
