Had a great few days, beach walks, site seeing, eating! and pool tine.
Lovely villa, a bit dated inside, but a great find and very a homely feel, we are planning to return. The girls loved the pool, a bit chilly for the oldies, but it was October! Only negatives were about the area, not the property, as almost all the shops and restaurants were closed up for winter and the spa range was poor and overpriced.
Thanks for your hospitality David.
Erholsamer Familienurlaub in beliebter Freienregion
Young family of 2.5 & 4.5 plus M&D looking for a relaxing 2 week break. Specifically looking for an area with fewer Brits and little bit of local character. Fabulous location as it ticked these boxes with a choice of big long sandy beaches as well as little bays with local fishing villages and local cafes/restaurants. Great choice of other activities if wanted.
Villa was exactly as specified and had everything you need for a 2 week stay. Lovely pool setting and barbeque. All very easy and thoroughly enjoyed. Good value for money. Local agent is an acquired 'taste' apparently. You do need a car. Would revisit.

Thai villa is set in a hard to find but very peaceful location, it is lovely from the outside but a little basic inside although very reasonably priced. The benefit for us was that we could put our motorcycles in the garage and there was a self locking sliding gate for extra security. There were only two of us so we only used the ground floor, the first floor area is reached by an external staircase, possibly not suitable for everyone. The grounds were very pleasant and the pool was looked after very well. Just up the hill there are a couple of restaurants if you did not want to use a car. The beach was a fair trek and in fact we gave up walking and only visited by our van on our last day, it has several bars/restaurants. In mid June in this area it is still out of season but the camp site 100 metres away may be rowdy in season. I know this area well and if you like a holiday where you rarely hear English it is absolutely perfect and a bit of an undiscovered gem since there are no big hotels. The locals will be very helpful if you try a few words of Catalan or Spanish and the food locally is excellent but not cheap. Most of the visitors are French, German or Spanish.
We paid ÂŁ15.00 per person for an inadequate amount of towels and bedding. My buddy who is a football fan was pretty hacked off when the advertised Sky TV did not exist because there was no viewing card. Our main gripe was that despite having called the local agent to say that we would be late they failed to leave the keys out and it was sleep in the van or in a local Hotel, having driven 900 miles non stop apart from fuel stops we opted for the hotel. The owner's reaction was that it had never happened before. We took in the Moto GP at the Circuit De. Cat alumna which was amazing.
I feel that the owner could be a bit more caring but do not be put off as if this Villa suits you it is very well priced if a little out of the way.
