Perfect condo for our active skiing/snowboarding family. We enjoy visiting Lutsen Mountains every March. This condo was clean and have everything we needed for our stay. Hope to be back in 2026!
Perfect size for our group, two couples and three kids. The fireplace was cozy and the hang out space large. Moguls tap room nearby is a great on site restaurant. Everything was easy including the ski locker and ski on ski off access.
We really enjoyed our time in Lutsen and this townhome was in a perfect spot! So close to all of the things we wanted to see and do, and very comfortable when we were ready to relax and wind down for the evening.
Beautiful place to stay on the mountain. One suggestion I have would be to remove the LED lighting and replace it with warmer softer Ambiance lighting.
We were visiting in the fall so I cannot speak to the ski in/ski out portion but it was a nice older timeshare unit. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Owner contact was very responsive.
The communication was fabulous when we had a few questions/issues upon our arrival. The place was perfect for our family, even though there was not enough snow to make it a true ski in/ski out. On a more typical winter weekend, this would be the perfect location! There is also a very large deck that would be great if you were planning a spring/summer/fall trip with family as well.
We had such a great time skiing at Lutsen and the vacation was even better with this ski-in/ski-out condo. With young skiers we found the location perfect so we could ski for a few hours, take a lunch break, and ski from the backyard again in the afternoon. The owners have paid attention to details that made our stay even more relaxing...a fully stocked kitchen, coffee, ski locker, comfortable beds, and a great layout for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We hope to be back.
Overall, it was a typical ski townhome. These are nothing fancyâŠjust the basics. We thought this was more of a ski in/ski out. However, this would have been challenging. It suited our needs and most of our time was spent on the hill. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels.
This property is in a fantastic location on the North Shore. Itâs away from the highway so itâs peaceful and quiet. Yet its right in the middle of everything the North Shore offers. We could hear the rippling Poplar River from the living room. So very relaxing! The place was comfortable and spacious for the 6 of us. The owner, Jesse was attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, because of the lockdown we werenât able to experience everything this property has to offer. So I guess we will have to come again to experience it all!!!
We absolutely LOVED this place!
Each winter we take a winter family trip to somewhere in Northern MN...and each of our kids (teens) gets to invite a friend. This time, we went to Lutsen.
With three teen boys & two teen girls, it was nice to have 2 bedrooms in the basement with enough beds to accommodate a boy's room & a girl's room. And the king bed & on-suite bathroom in the upper loft was comfy as a parent's retreat!
The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary equipment to make all meals ...and the gift of coffee by the host was appreciated.
The location was great as a ski-in/ski-out townhouse... it was a short walk to the pool and workout room.
The host kept us in the loop with communication throughout, and the check-in & check-out process was a breeze! I definitely recommend this one!
This is the perfect location for a ski in and ski out unit. It is right near the trail to Moose Mountain! So easy to get the kids on the hill in the morning and back for lunch!
The unit is a little out of date (old carpet, outdated kitchen) and kitchen does not have much for storage space. Yet we made it work - cooked all our meals! It was great to have dishwasher that could manage all our dishes! The stove top was not working when we arrived, yet owner was there the next day to fix!
Only other comment is that there is a very large security deposit required for the unit. The refund is posted to your credit card 10 days after departure and then you need to wait for the credit card company to process (they say 2 weeks). For me, that meant the expense carried over a billing cycle which made for an expensive bill that month.
We missed peak colors but it was a wonderful weekend overall!
The location is gorgeous and the property is well kept. Jesse was very responsive to my messages through out our stay!
Only thing is towels were stained, TV in the main living space was not working putting a damper on a movie night for the kids and no garbage in the kitchen.
Otherwise- we will be booking again! Great spot and we loved the end unit!
The location was perfect for what we wanted (Golf, Hike) to do.
The carpeting needs to be replaced, and the furniture as well. The wass paper is buckeling, very old.The fireplace was a great way to warm up the room quickly.
The beds were comfy and clean. Some of the remotes needed batteries. It was a quaint place to stay.
We did not get the condo we booked! On our way I received a text from the property manager saying that he was moving us to another condo because the one we rented âwas not finished with some work being doneâ. When we arrived at the different condo the entrance was dirty and the outside light did not work. The place looked like it had not been updated since it was built. The wall paper was peeling in several rooms, several of the lights inside did not work, the kitchen sink and stove top looked awful. The shower flowed out slowly and drained even slower! We could not control the temperature, fortunately the property manager communicated with us and he could control it. We were very disappointed in the switch and will not go back.
I'm definitely a "glass is always half-full" kind of guy who loves to travel, meet new friends, experience new cultures, and always looking for a new adventure! I'm a husband, father of 2 amazing and adorable children and only child! I'm blessed to have a career that allows me to work anywhere. I help others achieve financial freedom through real estate while also helping many obtain home ownership who thought they couldn't. When I'm not working you can find me skiing, hiking, biking, camping (ok, fine... "glamping") or hanging out with my family and friends. So, let's have a beer, share some stories, and plan an adventure! "Every man dies, not every man really lives". - William "Braveheart" Wallace
Growing up in Duluth, the North Shore of MN has always been a special place to me. I've been to 35 plus countries and this is still one of my favorite places. Between Lake Superior, the tall pines, flowing rivers, waterfalls and nature all around, it's an active traveler's dream.
