We loved our stay! The house was very clean, the pool was fantastic, and it had everything we needed. Jane was an amazing host – super friendly and attentive. The only thing we’d change is the comfort of the bed and couch, but everything else was perfect!!

Fantastic.

We loved our stay. The bungalow is spotless, comfortable, and well-stocked. The grounds are lush and well-kept. The pool is amazing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We want to return for a longer stay. We were very happy.

Amazing week at this incredible private oasis. We enjoyed the pool and the wild life that became our little friends. We hated to leave and shed a tear as we closed the door one last time before heading home. Jane is amazing and really made us feel at home. Can’t wait to visit again! Thank you Jane

Beautiful House, quiet location and great pool

The house was beautiful, very clean, comfortable and perfect for our family. The pool was bigger than we thought and was the perfect spot to spend the day swimming and tanning. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and was close to several stores, restaurants, activities and the beach. What really made the stay memorable was Jane, she was an incredible host, helped with everything we needed and even kept us informed when there was severe weather and alerts. She truly was great! We would 100% recommend and will be back ourselves!

This was just what I was looking for. Something in the Wilton Manors area. The private pool was exactly as described. Very enjoyable especially on the hot summer nights. Close to Wilton Drive but a little too far for me to walk it. About 20 minutes. But only a 4.50 Uber ride. I would definitely come back. An added plus that the host included Netflix and Sling on the TV

Excellent Cottage Retreat

Very well-maintained property with true Floridian charm. The master bed and pillows were a bit uncomfortable for our liking and the washroom needs an update, but otherwise it is an excellent house to spend your vacation at.

Wonderful escape

We enjoyed all of the thoughtful amenities that helped us save money like coolers and plenty of towels! We managed to swim in the pool each day despite the relatively chilly weather. The neighborhood is very friendly and Jane gave us lots of tips for exploring.

Very clean and accommodating!

As soon as you open the door, you walk into a very neat and clean house. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need including a picnic basket and totes for shelling. The bedrooms are comfortable with comfortable beds and pillows. Jane even keeps some travel stuff on hand in case you forgot stuff. The pool is great and the backyard offers privacy from neighbors. My sister and I would definitely stay here again.

Our own Paradise

WOW! My husband and I did not want to leave. We really felt like it was our own paradise away from home. Jane is an excellent host. When we traveled with Uber, they commented on what a nice area we were staying in. It’s not too far from the beach and good food. And even with places to go, we enjoyed staying right in the Bugaloo. I look forward to coming back!

Great place for vacation

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation house! It has all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The pool is fantastic—spacious and perfect for a refreshing swim (approximately 5 x 10 meters). The garden is beautiful and offers complete privacy, creating a peaceful retreat. Jane was incredibly welcoming and always easy to contact. This place is perfect for relaxing by the pool or exploring nearby sites, restaurants, and beaches. Plus, they provide beach chairs and a sun umbrella for your convenience. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

I would highly recommend staying here. Jane was more than accommodating, and really thought of every detail in making this a home away from home. We found ourselves not wanting to leave the backyard. It's beautifully landscaped with a heated pool and grill. The backyard sums up the detail Jane put into making this a relaxing retreat. From the lighting at night, to the drying rack for towels and suits, to the extra backup of propane for the grill, she really thought of everything. The inside of the house is clean and thoughtfully decorated. And finally, the location is perfect, as it's a short ride to the beach, Wilton Manors, and the Las Olas restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Retro Home in Quiet Neighborhood

This home is everything it claims to be and more. Super clean, well stocked and comfortable. Jane was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond to any question. Very convenient location to the grocery and the most wonderful coffee shop. The grill was clean and well taken care of. We grilled every night. The pool is immaculately maintained. Clean, warm and inviting. By far my favorite part was the lush landscaping! The coconuts in the palm tree, the star fruit tree, the bamboo...all amazing. I loved sitting on the patio with my coffee admiring it all. If we are in the area again, we sure hope Jane will have us back!

Homey, warm and very inviting!

We couldn't have had a better "first" experience with renting a house for our family vacation. Jane was very reassuring as I was nervous given the fact that we had never done this before and there were no prior reviews on this property. The lights were all on when we arrived, house was extremely clean and just as pictured. Our three teenage daughters loved having "their own pool" to come home to after exploring during the day! Given the weather back home, we loved being able to sit back and relax on the patio and watch them swim. Having a washer and dryer was a plus as well and enabled us to pack less and ease our packing and airline baggage woes. Jane was a very accomodating guest and we hope to be able to come back one day!

Perfect little cottage

This house has it all: so clean, great location, being close to Publix, shopping, beautiful private backyard with beautiful landscaping that makes it feel very private. Jane, the owner, was helpful and informative, suggesting things to do with kids, places to eat, directions to beach, etc. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 young children and the house was perfect for us. It's beautifully furnished and very clean and comfortable. There is an active train track nearby which may be a negative for some but it didn't bother us, even when we were outside enjoying the pool. All-in-all a real gem! Thank you Jane, for taking us in at the last minute, you were a lifesaver and I wish you the very best with the house. I already have a friend who asked me for info about the house!

Un séjour des plus agréables

Nous avons passé un moment des plus agréables dans le Bamboo Bungalow de Jane. La maison est décorée avec soin et vous y trouverez toutes les commodités d'une maison moderne américaine. La cerise sur le gâteau est ce jardin tropical génial accompagné d'une magnifique piscine parfaitement entretenue. Les enfants s'en sont donnés à cœur joie. Une supérette à 2 pas, un supermarché à 5min, les plages à 10min, Miami -South Beach à 45 min, les Everglades à 40 min et l'aéroport de Fort Lauderdale à 20 min.... Vous avez de quoi rayonner sur toute la Floride sans difficulté. Thank you Jane for your hospitality and See you. Fred

Bamboo Bungalow

This is an awesome place. Every thing you need for cooking, beach towels, cooler and chairs. The private pool no doubt was the best. Waking up to have coffee on the back patio sitting in a beautiful private yard. We definitely want to come back.

Bamboo bungalow

A very peaceful, secluded location for a getaway. A close drive to many attractions. You want for nothing at the bamboo bungalow and with such a beautiful pool you almost never wanna leave.

I hark from the mid-west but matured in Colorado, traveled and lived in Asia and Italy... and Colorado again... and have now lived here in Fort Lauderdale for 9 years. For the first time in my life I have absolutely no plans to move and just love the diversity, culture and weather in this part of the country. Come and stay!

This property is completely private and peaceful. While you can still enjoy all the hustle and bustle of the area, you can retreat to the house and enjoy the pool and barbecue and completely chill out. The house is original and vintage and I think that the retro vibe adds a kind of peaceful personality to the property.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This house is unique in that it is located in a quiet neighborhood but is close to everything essential- the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, and the airport. The pool and back yard is probably the most special quality and many guests rarely leave the property because the back yard is truly an oasis of calm and tranquility!
