Home lived up to expectations and as advertised. We really enjoyed the quiet and sitting by the fire pit. Owner was very responsive and we'd book here again.
We loved this cozy cabin in the mountains. It was so convenient for our shopping trip to Blue Ridge. It was nice and clean and comfortable. The owner is the nicest person and so accommodating and kind. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!
This was the most beautiful home we have ever stayed at. There were so many special touches. Actually, we wished we would have been able to stay longer.
We felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. We especially appreciated the cider from the owner. The place looks just as it does in the photos. It was a great place for peace and quite. We especially loved the deck and the bonfire pit. We would definitely stay again!
The cabin was beautifully decorated. The only issue we had was the driveway being washed out making it very difficult to get in and out of the driveway. Overall canât wait to stay again.
This cabin is all that it shows & more. Clean, cozy, fire place in & out. Everything was perfect! Definitely picked the perfect hosts & cabin. Thank you.
And the peach cider is a great gift

Private, secluded, in a peaceful and beautiful place. Not easy to get to, very narrow road...however so worth the effort. Cabin is roomy and has everything. Lots of attention to detail by the owners. We loved it.
The cabin was peaceful, cozy, and clean. It was a relaxing place to get away for a few days. Sheena was wonderful too! I got a little turned around with the directions and she talked to me on the phone until I made it to the cabin safely. I hope to go again in the fall.
This was a nice quiet spot off the lake. The rooms and beds were cozy. The whole cabin was clean and neat. The stairs down to the lake is trek.
The owner was easy to reach and very helpful.
I loved the gift upon my arrival.
I would definitely book again.
Serious relaxation! We spent the first two days just sitting on the porch, watching the trees and water, and listening to nature. There are also things to do in both Blue Ridge and Ellijay for fun and nearby day trips. Amicalola Falls State Park was beautiful. Many thanks to our owner/host. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful property. I would suggest arriving in the daytime for the first time up the hill, because the roads are a little narrow. No problems once you get used to them though!
The property is just as described . We had a very relaxing , peaceful vacation at this home . The property is convenient to both Blue Ridge and Elijay . We had great communication the whole time with the owner and the peach cider she left us was an awesome and thoughtful welcome gift . The cabin was also immaculately clean and we had no problem with checking into the home . We would love to be lucky enough to stay at this location again in the future.
Wonderful trip. Beautiful views. The drive there was intimidating(drop offs and sharp turns)The stairs outside are no joke! They are steep and a bit scary but the bottom is nice. We did have a lot of spiders and webs. I know you are in the woods so we did expect some but it as quite a bit. Overall, it was relaxing, great views, great communication with owner and quite enjoyable.
The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. My husband and son enjoyed fishing on the lake from the dock and took the boat out several times as well. Itâs close to hiking and both nearby towns. Like other reviewers have said try to arrive during the day because the road is a little intimidating the first time you travel it. It is a one lane road so one way in and one way out and you have to yield to traffic so that can be a bit nerve wracking when you donât drive on hilly/curvy roads all the time. All in all it was a fun get away and we would highly recommend the location.
Lovely cabin with plenty of space. Just like other reviews definitely arrive during the day, mountain roads are super narrow. We were able to use google maps to find the cabin just fine, it had some of the road names wrong but the directions up the mountain were correct. Enjoyed the massive deck in the evenings along with the lake in the back. Quite the hike up the stairs from the lake but well worth the trip. Saw a few âbugsâ in the kitchen but nothing too alarming and considering the location very understandable. Overall clean and would definitely recommend.
As frequent cabin "explorers" we've stayed in cabins from Alaska to Tennessee and this Georgia cabin has been our favorite! You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into the decorating, upkeep, and cleanliness of this cabin. Everything from the thoughtful organization of the kitchen to the bedding/pillows, displays an incredible attention to detail that adds to the overall comfort of this space. It feels like home! The lake is quiet and peaceful and although there are neighbors, this cabin offers ample amounts of privacy. My kids (ages 6 and 8) had so much fun playing outside on the lake and inside. The loft is equipped with board games, DVDs and a gaming console for rainy days or early mornings. There's even a little table up there that my kids were able to use for their crafts and school work.
Overall, we loved this cabin. Our favorite moments were early mornings when we'd sit on the private balcony, afternoon boat rides on the lake, and late nights around the fire pit. Thank you to Sheena for the handwritten card and cider. It was such a personal and thoughtful touch. We can't wait to come back!
The cabin was very clean, well stocked, nice view of the lake. There were lots of spiders, but in return few mosquitoes. We stayed in many cabins⊠the road to this cabin was just as tricky as the rest in Cherry Log. Would highly recommend
We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful cabin and wished it could have been much longer! The cabin has great outdoor spaces and is very comfortable and cozy! Every amenity you could think of was provided in this cabin! Very thoughtful of the owner. Close to Blue Ridge and great restaurants. Def check out the Pink Pig!
The cabin is in a very quiet location. The view overlooking the lake and mountain is awesome. Access to the lake is easy as long as you don't mind stairs. The cabin was very clean and prepared for us. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook in instead of eating out. The grill was in very good shape. The mattresses have some minor issues, but nothing overwhelmingly bad. Don't plan on parking more than two cars at the cabin. The roads to the cabin after you leave the highway are very narrow and sometimes steep and/or winding. Pay attention to the email you will get and print the directions (your GPS/phone will most likely lose your location in a couple of spots like ours did) and get there before dark (unlike we did) on your arrival day so you can see the roads and signs well. Definitely a great choice for a quiet getaway.
This property exceeded my expectation! Sheena was an excellent host and did a good job with the house/property. The house is clean, well equipped kitchen, cozy, and have beautiful views. There is a lake down below you can access by stairs, but it is steep! Going down is easy coming back up is a hike but doable. We spent some time down there fishing on the dock/boat, and hanging out in a hammock. Two fire places one inside and outside. We used the outside one a lot at night and there's plenty of seating in patio area. We all enjoyed our stay here and we will be back!
