Stayed at the cabin for 4 nights to relax and unwind by the creek. It was as amazing as I hoped! The bed was super comfortable and all the comforts of a home are provided. The creek being right outside was the highlight. Quiet, private, and just amazing. Very clean, everything provided and labeled well. I highly recommend!!ADVICE: pin the end of Wild Turkey Ln. as the destination for GPS because both Google and Apple Maps will take you to the road across the creek with no way to get to the cabin.
We arrived during a major storm that knocked out power and brought down several trees in the area. Since I rely on a CPAP machine, we had to stay in Ellijay the first night. The owners were incredibly responsive and kept us updated, and thankfully, the power was restored by the next day. When we returned, everything was ready for us to fully enjoy the rest of our trip. This was a sibling getaway, with each of us staying at different spotsâand this cabin was by far the best. Itâs beautiful, private, and incredibly peaceful. We grilled out at each location, and no one wanted to leave this one. The back deck is the perfect size, with great lighting and the soothing sound of the creekâideal for relaxing and reminiscing.Inside, the cabin was just as impressive. The beds are memory foamâmy husband was in heaven. Thereâs ample seating throughout the house, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and gathering. From the shade and serenity to the dragonflies, butterflies, salamanders, snails, and deerâit truly felt magical. We couldnât have asked for a better place. Highly recommend.
We made the trip for the New Year and had a lovely time. The cabin is perfectly decorated and supplied with all the essentials. The creek is literally steps from the back porch and there are numerous places to sit outside (on the creek, the deck, the firepit). But my favorite place to sit was the enclosed patio which also has views of the creek. The managers left up light strings for the holiday and had the house lights on for our arrival. The beds were a comfy memory foam. A few things to prepare for are (1) the drive to the cabin is about 5 miles from Blue Ridge on windy roads, which is about 20 minutes. Same for the route to Copperhill, TN (2) the roads (and driveway) do get stepper and more gravel the closer you get to the cabin. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is the best plan. I would have been nervous in a front wheel or sedan. (3) guests do have to have propane for the BBQ and table firepit so if the previous renter did not leave it, you will have to supply it. Same for firewood for the traditional firepit. (4) the house is more remote so communication is pretty much only by the WiFi connection so be aware in advance in case that goes out. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and relaxing just be prepared to be a bit remote.
