Great Location & Space

This unit is in a great location directly across from the beach. It also has a very nice pool area. The unit was spacious and clean. More towards one end of the strip, but not far to walk to all the restaurants and shops. Owner was excellent to communicate with.Keep in mind there is an additional daily resort fee of 55/day when we were there plus it's expensive to park a vehicle if you have one, but loved it overall.

Lovely Unit

The location was perfect. The unit was nicely furnished and stocked. Linens were very nice. We were surprised by the $50 per day for fees covering chairs and umbrellas-we did not use them at all. Everything else went very well.

A Good Stay!

The building is a hotel, and a very nice one. The room is immaculate and the bathroom is enormous! It has a nice view from the side of the building of the ocean, and a balcony to sit out on. The beach is nice, and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was kind and the food at the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic. You just have to keep in mind you're renting someone's hotel suite that they OWN, so you won't be getting daily maid service, and if you need additional towels or soap for the bathroom, there could be a charge at the front desk. The only cleaning that will be done is after you check out. But overall, it was very nice, and the owner was great to deal with!

The property manager completely misrepresented the cost. With fees and charges not clearly spelled out in advance. Multiple attempts to contact the manger were unsuccessful! Don’t book this property, you are on your own!

Nice location and rooms

While the location was great (just across the street from the beach), and the condo we rented was fine, the hotel staff ran hot and cold. Front desk people were uncaring, but upstairs bartender and concierge were terrific. We were being charged a "resort fee" per day by the hotel, yet we already paid that through the condo owner. Owner had to call them to straighten it out. We were supposed to get a free drink each day, but front desk personnel never gave us the special card. Only discovered that on 2nd to last day there! You also get free beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, but of course, they ran out of umbrellas! Also supposed to have free coffee in the room each day, but no one ever came in to refresh the coffee supplies. Also, if you ran out of toilet paper, soap or kleenex, you had to BUY additional supplies from the hotel. We stayed 5 nights and had just enough toilet paper to last! No one comes into your unit to check on anything, and of course you had to make the towels last your entire stay. So I don't think we'll be staying at that facility again.

Unfortunately you feel that way! I’m an owner of a condo within a hotel, hence what you get is part of the condo and anything extra is from the hotel. Coffee is always made in the morning and at no charge, available in the lobby. I pay your resort fee which covers a great many things that were not mentioned in this review. It’s unfortunate that you had to go through so much toilet paper, never before a complaint. Maybe Blame should directed at the food you ate, if you get what I mean. There are always plenty of towels available, it’s a beach resort! The spa, workout facility and pool have plenty of those as well. My motto is to enjoy life while we have it!

In the middle of everything

In the middle of everything. Restaurants. Beach. And golf carts to take you around. The property was good. The only complaint the pool was small and crowded. But I think it’s being upgraded and up dated in the fall. Definitely worth it.

Stunning views!!

Beautiful location with stunning views!! I will definitely be vacationing in ft.Lauderdale again. The condo we stayed was nice and clean but wished it had a washer/dryer on condo or site. Other than that I was impressed and happy.

We loved the location. The view was pretty awesome from the balcony and the king sized bed was also an added bonus. One thing that was pretty lacking though were the items in the kitchen. Trying to share one spoon with two people just doesn't really go so well!!😏Other than that everything was awesome!!!!

Extra charges and cleanliness

This property suck. There’s extra charges that aren’t stated in the contract. 6 days cost me three hundred bux I had to write it this way do to Vrbo policy. Vrbo doesn’t allow you to leave a review with specific numbers. You will have to pay to sleep 5 this unit only 1 bed. The pullouts need sheets, blanket, pillows. The property was dirty in arrival and every after they came in and cleaned up. The pullout was full of food crumbs. Not worth it at all!!

My VRBO listing clearly states what is included and what is not and any extra fees. If anyone has had any doubts about any fees they have always contacted me with questions. My unit has one king size bed, one pullout double and one single bed. I think you may have my room confused with another room? Next time you may be more comfortable with a room off the freeway.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The only good thing about our experience with this condominium was the hotel front desk man who was very kind. This room was a disgrace and I feel sick every time I think of how much I paid for it. Its what you would imagine an old motel room to look like in the middle of the desert. The couch was uncomfortable and dirty and the table looked like it was picked up from a junk yard. There were no fitted sheets on the bed nor on the premise. The shower water was scalding hot! Not only was the room dated and worn, but the owner was sneaky in his claims. Before arrival, Nick seemed very nice and he told us to tell the front desk we were his friends so they would “treat us better”... but by the end of our stay we were charged with multiple other fees on top of the room payment. Even though we were aggravated with Nicks failure to inform us that his condominium was going to be more of a burden than a vacation, we still went above and beyond to make cleaning easier for the staff. Nick then told me that we left his property a mess, but we most certainly did not! Now he wants me to pay even more! He offers no cancellation policy, so even if we wanted to leave we couldn’t. The room was far overpriced for its subpar accommodations. Overall, renting this room from this owner was a very disappointing experience and I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

My policy clearly states that my room is not for rent for underaged renters. I was informed by the Front desk that rules were not be followed but I let it slide. My room description clearly states what is and what is not included. Unfortunately, I had to have my room cleaned twice, including both refrigerators because they were not left as when they arrived, incurring more cleaning costs to me. As an owner of a 5 star condo I do not appreciate individuals who do not respect my property, hence my bad review. My condo and the establishment continuously receives great reviews for the cleanliness, style, location, decor, and service.

Nice Stay

We enjoyed our visit to Ft. Lauderdale and our stay in the Atlantic Hotel and Spa. The rooms were spacious and the unit had a huge bathroom. The pool with bar on the 5th floor was great and guests were given towels (and chairs) for both the pool and beach. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. My only complaint is that the photos on VRBO do not match the actual unit. It appears as if the bedroom has an ocean front balcony, but (unfortunately) it does not. The unit does have a small balcony off of the living room area that is ocean view. Otherwise, we had a great time & would definitely come back. Thanks.

It was nice, but not what we are used to in a condo.

Some things could be improved upon; such as updating in general. It would have been nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit...if not in the unit, in the building. We were there for 12 days and needed to do laundry and had to walk quite far to do that. Most of the time, the hot water did not work, except in the shower. We couldn't get the coffee pot to work. We did not have a car, so we had to walk everywhere. Many places that we wanted to go to were further away than we thought. Although, we did take the Sun Trolley but they only ran until 5:00. It would have been nice to have a table and chairs to eat at, since we supposedly had a condo. And there was no oven. But the balcony and view was very nice!

Unfortunately, the hot water issue is what the hotel was repairing while you were there and is now completed. There are two tables on the balcony, all other units only have one, and there is a long table in the unit itself? There are a total of 6 chairs in the unit as well!? Regarding the coffee, it’s not a coffee machine, it’s a specialized expresso machine of which has explicit directions attached on the unit. An European Coffee is always available at no charge in the lobby until 10am. The condo is on the “strip” which is walking distance from most.

Great place to stay!

The accommodations were wonderful! The hotel concierge are the best, we were able to get towels and chairs for the beach which was so very close. Enjoyed walking around the hotel to many restaurants. The hotel restaurant is great as well. Close to airport and Port Everglades for our cruise. Nick thank you for responding so quickly to my emails, very much appreciated!

Awesome unit!

Amazing spacious unit with every amenity needed. Unit has galley kitchen with 2 fridges; separate living room area with large screen tv and desk, slider out to balcony with table, chairs, large bedroom with another tv, and very spacious bathroom with complimentary cozy bathrobes. Convenient location to shops, restaurants, and beach across the street. Sky Bar at the pool has great food/drinks. Stayed for 10 days and had a terrific time. The owner was very helpful and responsive, and I’d recommend the unit.

Living room with a separate bedroom with a private door that separates the two rooms, unlike some advertised one bedrooms! This is a 2 room suite with pull out bed and office separate from the large bedroom with a King size bed!
Two refrigerators with freezers which is a great benefit for cooling your favorite beverage as well as keeping lunches for the beach or even freezing leftovers for another day! Either way, Lots of Space!
