Bienvenue à votre escapade de vacances de 1700 pieds carrés située sur 2 hectares! Situé à 4 miles au sud de l'Interstate 40 entre Flagstaff et Williams (Gateway to Grand Canyon)! EASY self check in avec le clavier! Situé au centre ville à la beauté stupéfiante de l'Arizona du Nord. La propriété a terrain de jeux pour les enfants, y compris, trampoline, balançoire, toboggan, dôme geo et balançoire! Réglez le thermostat comment vous l'aimez dans chaque chambre avec un nouveau système de chauffage hydronique à travers la maison, ou se blottir à côté du poêle à bois confortable. Maison dispose de 3 chambres à coucher deux salles de séjour / famille et deux salles de bains. Chambre plus et supplémentaire qui peut servir de chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux. Cuisine entièrement équipée et buanderie, tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour vous sentir chez vous! Cherchez dans Garland Prairie pour le wapiti et le cerf! Regardez les oiseaux-mouches de la plate-forme, l'accès immédiat aux routes et sentiers de services forestiers. Apportez vos 4x4 ou promenez-vous jusqu'au lac Scholz, situé à proximité, par la porte arrière (environ 10 min.). L'heure d'été est magnifique dans le nord de l'Arizona, combattez la chaleur et venez profiter de l'air frais des montagnes. La saison hivernale permet de faire du ski de fond, du ski à Snowbowl (Flagstaff) ou au mont Bill Williams. (Williams) -
Cet endroit vous procurera repos et détente après toutes vos activités! Environ 60 miles de l'entrée du grand canyon. Dish TV par satellite 139 canaux avec un forfait sportif, un excellent service de téléphonie cellulaire. Vous roulerez sur 4 miles de route de terre pour arriver à la maison, bien entretenu par le comté, la zone rurale, mais la maison est dans un quartier avec quelques voisins qui sont acres à part. Vous allez adorer la paix et la tranquillité et l'air frais. Il y a 2 magasins à environ 5 km qui servent de la nourriture, de l'essence et des courses. 17 milles à Flagstaff, 14 milles à Williams, 40 milles à Sedona. La chambre principale a un lit king et salle de bain attenante, la 2ème chambre est un lit queen, la 3ème chambre a un lit superposé avec un lit double en bas et jumeaux sur le dessus. Il y a une chambre bonus avec 2 lits jumeaux, ainsi que 2 grands matelas pneumatiques dans le placard. 2 acres de terrain est clôturé pour vos chiens! Foyer et barbecue aussi!

Cute and quiet getaway

Very cute and quiet neighborhood. The house is welcoming and had plenty of space for all eleven of our group! Everything you might need for a stay away from home! The Scholz lake is a nice little walk away, lots of birds and wildlife to look at along the walk. The property manager is quick to respond with any questions you might have, and it was just a short drive to all the local activities. We had a wonderful stay

Home on the Range

We had a wonderful time with our 4 grandkids and dog at this cute home in a remote area. It was definitely a family home and well broken in, but perfect for us. Comfortable and charming, there were large open spaces around the small neighborhood and we saw a her of antelope. The all important WIFI worked perfectly, so the kids were very happy on their pads. The host, Chris, was very responsive and we had no difficulties.

Amazing stay!

My family stayed and were so pleased when we arrived. The home is situated in a semi-isolated neighborhood where the scenery, sunrises, and sunsets were stunning. The quiet solitude was perfect. Our favorite feature of the home was it's wood burning stove. It warmed the home and provided an opportunity for our family to gather together more. The town of Parks is nearly equidistant between the Grand Canyon and Sedona, so we easily visited both cities and their attractions. The hosts provided everything we needed, which was helpful as out-of-state visitors. The hosts responded to all communication quickly and answered any questions I had. If we ever were to visit the area again, we would choose to stay here.

Great location

The house sat on two fenced acres which was mostly why we picked it. Our dog loved the freedom to run around. The walk to the lake was gorgeous and peaceful. The house had what we needed, as others have mentioned, it’s older so keep that in mind if you need fancy brand new interiors. It was exceptionally clean and just great for our escape from the Vegas heat.

Outdoor heaven

My family and I had the greatest time at this Parks location. It is close to Williams and Flagstaff. The remote feature...if you are a star gazer, this place is for you. My eight year old granddaughter rated this location five stars. The best feature is that the location is close to the forest preserve and the hiking trail is great. My dogs gave that a five wags rating. If I plan another trip for Northern Arizona, I will use this location again.

Spacious and great for our dogs

The house was nice and clean and good size for us, our three teens and dogs. The large yard is fenced and our dogs could have stayed out there all day! My teens didn’t quite appreciate it as much because of the no wi-fi. We have AT&T and I was hoping for better service but it was hit and miss to say the least. Next time we’ll just leave the teens at home! Lol

Perfect Family Location

We had a great stay at Chris's property. Almost everything we needed was available in the home. The only thing we found would be helpful is a measuring cup (there could have been one and I just did not find it) and a clearer address visible from the street. We recommend this property and are considering booking a stay over the summer.

good location

We wanted a rural cabin, the location was perfect. The property was extremely difficult to find because the address was very small and inconspicuous. In addition, the VRBO picture of the property is the view from the back yard, not the view from the front street or side street, therefore if you are driving around looking for the house in the picture, you will not see it from the road. The mosquitos were unbearable, thousands swarming at all times (even in full sun) day and night, there is no way to escape them, many even got inside the house despite our best efforts to keep them out, be sure to bring a lot of repellant. We all (humans and dogs) left with many bites even though we were all wearing mosquito spray. There is no wifi and cellular service does not work in the house but it did work if you go for a drive down the road. The house was very clean. There were a lot of hummingbirds and that was very nice, we would have liked to sit outside and watch them but could not do that without being attacked by mosquitos. It was nice to wake up to roosters crowing and to have a large fenced yard so the dogs could run and play. We rented a home in a rural area where we could enjoy the outdoors for a long weekend, and this home had all the enjoyable qualities but the mosquito problem made it impossible to be outside, so we spent most or our time indoors and that was quite disappointing.

Great Time Well Spent

First of all, Chris was excellent at communication. Their location gives you the off grid feeling, but still close to some services. According to the property info the lake was said to be a 10min walk. However, we rode bikes and it was actually about a 12-15min ride, so we assume walking will be longer. Lastly, if mosquitoes like you, it’s highly recommended to bring repellent in the warm months as they made a feast of us! We thought we were safe in the house, and the last night we noticed an old gash in the kitchen window screen which explained why so many were swarming in the house. All in all, it was still a wonderful experience for people to spend quality time.

Wonderful Week in Parks

My family loved our time at this house. It more than met our needs. The hike down to the lake was also a great hike and the scenery was gorgeous. Only an hour and 20 minute drive to the South Rim made this location perfect for our family. We will do this again!

No mobile service

We booked a stay in December 2021 and did not stay here at all. We ended up booking another place the same night since there was no mobile reception in the house at all. The listing states that there is no wifi but excellent mobile reception. We had two different carriers in our family and no one had any bars. This was a working vacation and we needed to be able to use our mobile hotspot and could not. The road into the property was also very difficult in the wintery weather. The owner did not refund any part of our stay even though the mobile service was misrepresented. We were so stressed out and ended up going over budget on this vacation since we had to pay premium to pay for another place to stay. The owner could have at least refunded up part of our stay. If you need any cell reception, I would not recommend this place.

It was exactly what we needed. Quiet, wonderful room for our city dog to run, gorgeous views and the perfect location to experience the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Sedona. The kids LOVED the trampoline too!

Peace and quiet

Wonderful home to stay in while visiting Grand Canyon and other area attractions. There is plenty of room in the house. Anything you can think of is provided, the only things you need to bring are your clothes. The stars are amazing and watching the hummingbirds on the deck was so relaxing. The drive back on the gravel road was very scenic, we saw lots of elk. I only saw one neighbor mowing their grass so maybe not mowing the grass is an Arizona thing, but the grass was so long that the kids couldn’t play in the fenced in yard, that is the only negative thing. Will stay here again when in the area. Thank you Chris for a wonderful experience.

My wife and a have been in Flagstaff since we were young, we went to Flagstaff high school. We married and moved to Parks to enjoy the space and beauty. We have 2 small children and both work full time jobs. We moved back to Flagstaff for the kids activities and to be a bit closer to work but could not part with our country home that we love so we decided to share it with others in order to be able to keep it. Flagstaff is only about 20 min from Parks.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We loved the calm and quietness of the country side and simplistic living away from the busy city life.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We wanted space to have pets (they came first) and places for the kids (they were next) to play. We love to garden you will see my glorious Clematis, Columbine, trees and numerous wild flowers. We enjoy to sit by the campfire on a still evening and gaze at the night sky. Fully covered deck with furniture, picnic table, plenty of lawn chairs.
