Bienvenue au Gateway Cottage! Notre magnifique "chalet" haut de gamme de 1765 pc achevĂ© en 2008 est situĂ© Ă  plus de 7000 'd'altitude dans un cadre naturel sur un acre paisible de pins frais dans le nord de l'Arizona. Nous sommes situĂ©s Ă  quelques minutes Ă  l'est de Williams, la porte d'entrĂ©e du Grand Canyon, oĂč vous trouverez de nombreux magasins pour presque tout ce dont vous avez besoin. C'est un trajet facile de 45 minutes / 60 miles jusqu'au bord sud du Grand Canyon, et avec Flagstaff Ă  25 minutes et Sedona Ă  une heure, c'est un excellent emplacement central !! L'intĂ©rieur dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t comprend 2 chambres KING et 2 salles de bain complĂštes, plus une mezzanine avec un lit QUEEN et un lit TWIN, ainsi qu'un canapĂ©-lit QUEEN et un lit pack-n-play pouvant accueillir confortablement jusqu'Ă  9 personnes adultes. Des mises Ă  jour rĂ©centes ont Ă©tĂ© apportĂ©es avec de nouveaux rideaux dans le salon et les chambres et de nouvelles couvertures sur les lits dans le grenier, un nouveau four Ă  micro-ondes et un nouveau tĂ©lĂ©viseur UHD de 43 pouces dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussĂ©e, le nouveau systĂšme de tĂ©lĂ©vision par satellite Dishnet Hopper 2/11/19, peinture intĂ©rieure fraĂźche fĂ©vrier 2019 , mises Ă  jour et mises Ă  niveau toujours en cours pour garder notre maison Ă  jour. Observez les Ă©toiles Ă  travers les lucarnes du lit king-size du maĂźtre et du lit queen-size du loft. Les deux chambres king ont une tĂ©lĂ©vision et un lecteur DVD. La cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e comprend tout ce dont vous avez besoin, apportez vos courses et prĂ©parez un repas simple ou gastronomique. La buanderie comprend des draps et des serviettes. DĂ©tente extĂ©rieure sur le pont, la zone du foyer ou le porche avant. Il y a une ligne fixe (tĂ©lĂ©phone) en interne pour les appels locaux. We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in this cozy, comfortable cabin. My family wanted to feel like we were in the middle of the woods while still being conveniently located to Williams and Flagstaff and this checked that box perfectly. Merrie was so easy to work with when we had to modify our reservation. We’re already talking about when we can go back.

Wonderful house with a helpful, communicative host! It has the vibe of an older cabin, but the updated furnishings and great condition made it feel fresh and comfortable. Even the pull-out bed was nice. The house is located in a very quiet location in the woods where you can really see the stars. Do note that the roads to the house are not paved, but that wasn’t an issue for us; and make sure before you check out that you clean the kitchen.

The cabin worked perfectly for our trip to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area. The cabin was clean and cozy and we really enjoyed the front and back covered porches. We sat by the bonfire one night and that was a lot of fun. We cooked several meals at home and the kitchen worked perfectly and was well stocked. We loved watching the Stellar Jays and squirrels every morning play near the back patio.

We had a great stay. The house is very comfortable and has plenty of space. The loft space was perfect for the kids to sleep in and then the two king rooms were perfect for the adults. The kids loved the back play set. Beautiful area!! We will be back

Great stay

This cabin was a surprise! It is much nicer than the pictures show. We had 4 adults and 5 kids that stayed and it worked out great for all of us. The kitchen has more than you need to fix meals and the beds were very comfortable. We will be back again.

Our names are Darrel & Merrie, we met in Williams & have been married 52 years. We have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. We live in Surprise, AZ, but I (Merrie) grew up in the area, and have always called it "home". We love the mountains, pines and the quiet pace of the location.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased the acre of land in 2002 because of the quiet, forest setting and dreamed of the day we would see our cabin there on the property. We sketched our vision, and took the drawings to a draftsman who drew the plans. We sub-contracted the construction beginning in 2005, and it was 100% hands on for us, doing much of the work ourselves. The home was (for the most part) completed in 2007. There was no intention of renting our home at the time, but with the economy crunch in 2009, we made the choice to share our home as a vacation rental, rather than selling it, which would have crushed us. We are consistent in keeping the home updated with furnishings and appliances, and are confident you will enjoy the property, making many happy memories there. PLEASE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THOSE WITH ALLERGIES, DO NOT BRING A PET/ESA/SERVICE ANIMAL TO OUR HOME.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There is a peacefulness you'll feel when staying at our home, and the proximity to the Grand Canyon, Williams, Bearizona, The Grand Canyon Railway, Flagstaff and Sedona makes our home perfect for daily outings taking in all the sites. We enjoy taking the family to the cabin to enjoy the cool weather in summer. The smell of the pines, relaxing around the fire pit and taking walks in the forest, along with the occasional sightings of the deer, elk, antelope among other critters in the area are a welcome change of pace. The Kaibab squirrels that live in the neighborhood enjoy the handouts and are very entertaining. Winters are beautiful with the fresh snow, sledding and holidays with spiced cider, hot chocolate and popcorn we provide. Christmas in Williams is a sight to behold, with the parade and the lighting of the huge Christmas tree. Boarding the Polar Express is a joy for the kiddies, young and old. Bearizona Wildlife Park and The Deer Farm are a must see, near Williams, only a few miles away. (Sorry, we do not host pets, including service animals, in consideration of those with allergies).
