Bienvenue au Gateway Cottage! Notre magnifique "chalet" haut de gamme de 1765 pc achevé en 2008 est situé à plus de 7000 'd'altitude dans un cadre naturel sur un acre paisible de pins frais dans le nord de l'Arizona. Nous sommes situés à quelques minutes à l'est de Williams, la porte d'entrée du Grand Canyon, où vous trouverez de nombreux magasins pour presque tout ce dont vous avez besoin. C'est un trajet facile de 45 minutes / 60 miles jusqu'au bord sud du Grand Canyon, et avec Flagstaff à 25 minutes et Sedona à une heure, c'est un excellent emplacement central !! L'intérieur décoré avec goût comprend 2 chambres KING et 2 salles de bain complètes, plus une mezzanine avec un lit QUEEN et un lit TWIN, ainsi qu'un canapé-lit QUEEN et un lit pack-n-play pouvant accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 9 personnes adultes. Des mises à jour récentes ont été apportées avec de nouveaux rideaux dans le salon et les chambres et de nouvelles couvertures sur les lits dans le grenier, un nouveau four à micro-ondes et un nouveau téléviseur UHD de 43 pouces dans la chambre du rez-de-chaussée, le nouveau système de télévision par satellite Dishnet Hopper 2/11/19, peinture intérieure fraîche février 2019 , mises à jour et mises à niveau toujours en cours pour garder notre maison à jour. Observez les étoiles à travers les lucarnes du lit king-size du maître et du lit queen-size du loft. Les deux chambres king ont une télévision et un lecteur DVD. La cuisine bien équipée comprend tout ce dont vous avez besoin, apportez vos courses et préparez un repas simple ou gastronomique. La buanderie comprend des draps et des serviettes. Détente extérieure sur le pont, la zone du foyer ou le porche avant. Il y a une ligne fixe (téléphone) en interne pour les appels locaux. Des activités amusantes (hiver et été) sont à proximité, notamment le Grand Canyon, Sedona, Grand Canyon Railway / Polar Express, Bearizona et la Deer Farm, ainsi que des musées, des observatoires et des loisirs de plein air tels que la pêche, la randonnée, le ski, la luge et plus encore. . Séjour magnifique ! Great Location !

Nous étions deux familles de 4 personnes et le cottage nous a parfaitement accueilli pour deux nuits. Le cadre est magnifique. La maison correspond parfaitement aux photos visibles sur le site. Couchages agréables, 2 salles de bains, beaucoup de place et un équipement très correct. Nous avons mangé sur place (supermarchés à Flagstaff et Williams) mais il y a de nombreux restaurants à Williams (à quelques minutes) et la ville située sur la Route 66 est à voir absolument ! Nous sommes allés visiter le Grand Canyon. La route (moins d'1h) se fait très facilement. Nous conseillons cet hébergement dans lequel nous avons passé un bon moment.

The cabin worked perfectly for our trip to the Grand Canyon and surrounding area. The cabin was clean and cozy and we really enjoyed the front and back covered porches. We sat by the bonfire one night and that was a lot of fun. We cooked several meals at home and the kitchen worked perfectly and was well stocked. We loved watching the Stellar Jays and squirrels every morning play near the back patio.

Die Unterkunft war toll. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten genügend Schlafmöglichkeiten. Der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war einfach. Allerdings war uns bei der Buchung nicht bekannt, dass trotz der Lage im Wald reger Bahnverkehr herrscht. Die Bahn fuhr alle 20 Minuten, auch in der Nacht. Die Bahn war deutlich zu hören und ist bei einem leichten Schlaf nicht zu empfehlen, Schade.

Very sweet and cozy property. Very clean and great rustic decor. Everything was as was described in the listing. Just a few minutes from downtown Williams, Bearizona, coaster and more. We loved the quietness of the neighborhood and the wildlife around us. We will definitely be coming up again!

Beautiful, wooded property. Excellently set up with all the necessities and more. We very much enjoyed our stay. Only words of caution is the train runs very near by, so you will hear the whistle all night.

Really beautiful property. However there’s a train that runs at night several times and unfortunately sleeping through the night was an issue for a few of us. For context the train tracks are about a 3 minute car ride away. Keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, great location if you’re heading to the Grand Canyon or any of the local attractions. The kids loved the play set. The cleaning fee is 150 which was a bit annoying considering you have to leave the kitchen spotless as opposed to other rentals where you can typically at least clean up the kitchen and leave the dishwasher running but here everything needs to be dried and put away before you leave. A small nuisance. We found several of other people’s socks while staying, but other than that the property was clean.

Property is located in a very quiet, secluded, forested neighborhood. Interior is decorated beautifully and had a plethora of kitchen amenities, pitss, pans, appliances, spices, etc...coffee, tea, cocoa, selection was excellent. Instructions given upon booking and before arrival were complete and precise.

Family time

We had a great stay. The house is very comfortable and has plenty of space. The loft space was perfect for the kids to sleep in and then the two king rooms were perfect for the adults. The kids loved the back play set. Beautiful area!! We will be back

Williams Get away

This place was just as pictured. Very nice, CLEAN, and the beds very comfortable. Worked great for our family. They could have the whole loft and king bedroom with balcony off it for a place to go and have to themselves. House very roomy and the. Kitchen was well stocked. Great Family Getaway

This was our second time staying at the cabin and it was as great as the first time! The kitchen has everything you need, comfortable furniture and plenty of room at the table for the 8 of us. The kids love the loft and having 2 rooms both with king size beds is a huge plus! We enjoyed siting on the rocking chairs on the front porch and having dinner on the back deck. The cabin is so welcoming. I know we'll be back!

Great stay

This cabin was a surprise! It is much nicer than the pictures show. We had 4 adults and 5 kids that stayed and it worked out great for all of us. The kitchen has more than you need to fix meals and the beds were very comfortable. We will be back again.

Perfect place to stay if you are exploring Northern Arizona! Grand Canyon is an hours drive, Sadona is like 1.5 hours away. Less then 10 minutes to Williams. Worth every penny.

Peaceful Place to Uneind

This place was awesome to stay. My family and I felt so comfortable staying here. The house had everything we needed to cook, barbecue and just hang out .The grocery store is about 20 minutes from the place so on the way to the house it was easy to pick up groceries before heading to the house . We would definitely recommend staying here .

This was a wonderful stay. The house is well equipped, clean, quiet and beautiful. So enjoyed the setting and the house. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed the proximity to the Grand canyon and the town of Williams.

Our names are Darrel & Merrie, we met in Williams & have been married 52 years. We have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren. We live in Surprise, AZ, but I (Merrie) grew up in the area, and have always called it "home". We love the mountains, pines and the quiet pace of the location.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased the acre of land in 2002 because of the quiet, forest setting and dreamed of the day we would see our cabin there on the property. We sketched our vision, and took the drawings to a draftsman who drew the plans. We sub-contracted the construction beginning in 2005, and it was 100% hands on for us, doing much of the work ourselves. The home was (for the most part) completed in 2007. There was no intention of renting our home at the time, but with the economy crunch in 2009, we made the choice to share our home as a vacation rental, rather than selling it, which would have crushed us. We are consistent in keeping the home updated with furnishings and appliances, and are confident you will enjoy the property, making many happy memories there. PLEASE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THOSE WITH ALLERGIES, DO NOT BRING A PET/ESA/SERVICE ANIMAL TO OUR HOME.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There is a peacefulness you'll feel when staying at our home, and the proximity to the Grand Canyon, Williams, Bearizona, The Grand Canyon Railway, Flagstaff and Sedona makes our home perfect for daily outings taking in all the sites. We enjoy taking the family to the cabin to enjoy the cool weather in summer. The smell of the pines, relaxing around the fire pit and taking walks in the forest, along with the occasional sightings of the deer, elk, antelope among other critters in the area are a welcome change of pace. The Kaibab squirrels that live in the neighborhood enjoy the handouts and are very entertaining. Winters are beautiful with the fresh snow, sledding and holidays with spiced cider, hot chocolate and popcorn we provide. Christmas in Williams is a sight to behold, with the parade and the lighting of the huge Christmas tree. Boarding the Polar Express is a joy for the kiddies, young and old. Bearizona Wildlife Park and The Deer Farm are a must see, near Williams, only a few miles away. (Sorry, we do not host pets, including service animals, in consideration of those with allergies).
