The property was amazing, we only stayed one night, so we didn't get a chance to explore the area. You are tucked up in the woods away from society, extremely roomy, great for large groups. Next time we're in the area, we will stay here again, hopefully for a longer stay.
Unfortunately, we were there for a wedding and we anticipated an iron and board be onsite, when we arrived and were under a time constraint it took 2.5 hours for a reply from the manager and at that point I had to drive into town at the last minute and buy both items, his answer was just that he would reimburse me if I left them there. Nothing for the last minute inconvenience and thatâs where the texts stopped from him. Several items were broken (tv frame all cracked and hanging crooked, window drapes falling out of mounts), hardly any water pressure for the main shower. It is a good location just have stayed in many others where attention to details were paid attention to. Honestly, if it was my property and it said that the iron/board was an amenity, I wouldâve taken one right away myself. It was a great getaway, great property for a family but be aware that you are charged per person because water has to be hauled in for the exact amount of guest. Also, it doesnât state anywhere that the bunkhouse does not have AC, it was very warm when we used it for pool and pac man.
We have been staying here for about 4 years. We love the location and the privacy it affords. We have three small dogs and they enjoy getting to explore outside all day. The cabin is spacious enough for more than two adults with enough sleeping and facilities to bring bigger families/groups here. The communication is always amazing and timely. Every time weâve had a question or concerns, Craig has responded straight away. There is a pretty well stocked kitchen and grill. The bunk house has a pool table and arcade games. WiFi is available and works great. All in all, we will continue coming here, hopefully, for many more years to come!
We came up to escape the Phoenix heat for a week and this place was perfect! Hidden away so it was a peaceful respite from city life but close enough to Flagstaff to still run into town for any needs. We were also able to easily visit the Grand Canyon, Winslow, Williams and explore downtown Flagstaff on day trips. The kids and adults loved the games and enjoyed walks around the property. Would absolutely recommend for any family!
We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Flagstaff but still within a quick drive. Wi-Fi was reliable for working remotely and we loved our escape from the Phoenix heat.
This was our second time staying at this property and is truly amazing. Itâs outside of town and surrounded by beautiful forest yet close enough to take advantage of everything Flagstaff has to offer. We loved the privacy and serenity. We hope to have a chance to return again soon. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property with us Craig!
Truly an amazing property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Craig is an exceptional host who is very responsive and informative. We were lucky enough to see elk on the property nearly everyday we were there! The location is perfect. Its about 12 minutes from downtown yet provide immense peace and tranquility. We can't wait to stay again!
What a great place to stay if you want to get away to a quiet place. Stayed for two nights and loved every bit of it. The dog loved the ability to roam in the woods as well. We will be coming back. Thanks for making the stay easy and enjoyable!
This was a nice property. It was a nice space to have family and friends. Lots of room and places for people to gather together or separately. There was a space for people of all ages to visit or hang out. There was a nice deck outside, a courtyard area outside, inside space, and then the bunkhouse with a pool table and table top video game for the younger of the adults. The property had open spaces to be able to explore. It was peaceful and remote but still not too far from town. The property was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Craig.
Loved the location and the wildlife. The family enjoyed being able to spend time outdoors exploring and only having a short drive for daytime activities. Would stay again.
Amazing property with a beautiful peaceful setting. My Family loves this cabin. Very secluded property only one neighbor. Played flash light tag in the woods, it was a blast. If you need any help with anything the owner is very helpful. Great property any season.
The house was comfortable and the essentials were present, however the entire house and bunk house need a good dusting. The pantry was so full of cleaning supplies and bug spray we could not use it. Which was disappointing as we were there for several days. The outside is awesome , lots of room to play. Be sure your pets listen well , as there is no fence.
A Perfect Flagstaff Escape â Tranquil Cabin Getaway
Our stay at this cozy cabin in Flagstaff was nothing short of incredible! Nestled among the towering pines, the cabin offered the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings set the tone for a relaxing getaway.
The cabin itself was immaculately clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching wildlife pass by, and our evenings stargazingâFlagstaffâs dark skies are unbeatable for this!
Location-wise, itâs ideal. Just a short drive from the heart of Flagstaff, we had easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions like the Lowell Observatory and Walnut Canyon. Yet, the cabin was far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel secluded and peaceful. We also took advantage of nearby hiking trails, and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon were convenient from this base.
Sitting under the stars after a long day of exploring was the ultimate relaxation!
Overall, this cabin offered the perfect escape for those looking to disconnect and unwind. Whether you're seeking adventure or tranquility, this spot has it all. We canât wait to return!
