The rooms are always clean and well furnished. Good access to the beach. Great location for access to restaurants and other activities. Our only complaint is other guests playing music too loud at the pool.

We didn't have all the kitchen utensils needed (pitchers, scissors, Keurig) but were able to make do. We will definitely be returning next year!

First Sandpiper Gulf Shores Visit

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sandpiper resort is a trip back to the beach vacations I took with my parents in the 70s. I mean this in the best way possible. 15B was a comfortable unit. It offers no fancy bells and whistles but still has everything one needs for a relaxing stay. The 3 story complex's smaller number of units (as opposed to the monstrous high rises lining the beach) translates to an uncrowded private beach, available seating at the pool and open parking which all made for an enjoyable visit. The only negative from our week here (and my reason for 2 stars for property management) was the lack of an onsite security guard to enforce the posted quiet hours of 10p-8a, as our stay coincided with a large group who consistently sang and played very loud music most nights until 11p or later. I even went outside one night to look for a security guard to complain to about the noise and none could be found.

It was very clean and just steps away from the beach. It really is the most adorable set up with the decks. We were there with several other families and everyone really liked their units. The beach was gorgeous the week we were there. It was my favorite beach vacation, yet. Just a great experience in every way.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my third time vacationing at Sandpiper, and while I enjoyed my stay, I did have some issues. The unit was very nice and I would highly recommend it, the location, beach, etc. is fantastic. On the less than positive side there were people smoking EVERYWHERE, very rowdy unsupervised children at the pool multiple times, and it was a little frustrating because of that. The previous times I stayed here security seemed to have a better presence and I did not have any of these issues.

The complex is great and Bender staff is excellent. This unit could use a refresh on furniture. The living room furniture is starting to show it's age and the master King bed is as well. Other than that, great stay and very fun vacation!

Lovely Condo, mattress needs updating

The views of the beach are awesome from the balcony. The only complaint we had was the mattresses in the condo are very worn out. I slept in every bed in the place and was miserable when I woke up. We all wound up taking turns sleeping on the sofa because it was way better than the beds. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will return.

Although we had some laundry issues, Jenny and the Bender staff worked with the owner and a new washer and dryer were installed during our visit. 15B is a beautiful condo! We have been coming to the Sandpiper for over 18 years and meet the nicest folks. This year we invited our neighbors to join us for Thanksgiving dinner with our family.

Mid-June quiet time

Reviewer Comments: Past stays at the Sandpiper were nearly ruined by large family reunion groups that were disrespectful, noisy and dominated the pool and the barbeque area. But mid-June was quiet and awesome. Other guests were friendly and made our stay much more enjoyable. The condo is clean and very nicely furnished and equipped. The balcony arrangement is so much better for getting together with other families than others condos where security and privacy is a priority. Perfect place if you are in a group of five or six families, as long as you are considerate of everyone else and hold the noise down.

Thanksgiving Get Away at the Sandpiper

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a family, we had rented at the Sandpiper for several years as our children grew up. The family atmosphere is what always drew us back to the Sandpiper. This was our first experience at this time of year, and no regrets in returning for Thnaksgivng! Our children are grown now, but still enjoy the quiet, family environment. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The condo was updated nicely and we were very comfortable. The combination locks are so convenient, and makes check in and check out easy. There will be no hesitation in contacting Bender for renting at the Sandpiper again. Glad to be back there again!
