My fiance and I had a lovely stay. Such a beautiful space. We didn't get to meet Anne but when we needed to get in touch with her she was really quick to respond to messages and is kind and so accommodating. Francisco was lovely and kindly met us to check us in when we arrived. We were a short drive from beautiful places like the Albany Bulb and some incredible restaurants. A great place to stay!
I contacted the host on the morning of our stay to let them know when I was arriving, and they cancelled, saying the home was double booked. However, I know that we booked first because I saw this home listed and available on multiple platforms when I booked.
Every home has its own energy and I would say Anne's home has the energy of a meditative retreat or artist's workshop. It's a great place for inward, peaceful focus and a good night's rest. I was concerned at first that the "loft" bedroom area would be open and lack privacy, but in fact it's fully enclosed with a door and windows that have full curtains, and it's large enough to accommodate a couch and a desk. As another guest mentioned, the first floor bathroom (which is dedicated to the guest/s) is awkwardly small but workable. My stay was a pleasant, restful experience and I'll be booking again for any future trips to the area. Thanks, Anne!
My 19-year old daughter and I stayed here on our SFO getaway. Anne had all of the details covered and it was exactly as described. We stayed on the first floor loft and had access to the bathroom and kitchen facilities on the main floor. This place is uniquely beautiful, is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to the BART system to get access easily to the surrounding areas. It's a safe and quiet neighborhood. The main reason I booked was because of the nightly rate which saved us a lot in the long run compared to staying in downtown SFO. Anne was home while we were there, but she's a delight, and we actually didn't see much of her, so there was privacy. We highly recommend this property!
Our experience renting this property was wonderful itâs a beautiful house with great shopping and dining near by and close to transit to get to San Francisco.
I am a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. I also love to travel, and my home is decorated with masks I have collected on my travels. I grew up on the East Coast, and came to California to go to grad school at Stanford. The Bay Area has been my home for a long time and am happy to share both my home and this exciting part of the country with guests.
I bought this property for its openness and light. I also appreciate the diverse neighborhood and the closeness to museums, great food stores, restaurants, and natural beauty.
