Thank you for your super kind words, Joseph. So happy that you enjoyed your stay at the Outpost. We have put a lot of love into this place and we intend to add solar soon, to be energy self sufficient. The water comes from a natural well and it is filtered but sometimes the current sneaks a small amount of saltwater in. For that reason we placed water fountains in every kitchen and water bottles in the bathrooms. There are rumors that Little Exuma might get connected to the grid soon... meanwhile there is something to be said for the seclusion that comes with being off the grid though. :)

Jane, It was a pleasure having y'all here at The Exuma Outpost. Three Generations is what we have built this place for. feeling your joy reminds us why we built it in the first place. Come again and again.

Hi Dyan, Roberto, All the bedrooms have linen curtains as well as the traditional Bahamian Shutters Outside. We did have plenty of wine and water glasses but they are stemless. If you needed more option we could have provided them for you instantly. These are careful design decision as we really do embrace simplicity and authenticity here at the Outpost. Our soap was indeed in every room. It is traditional Bahamian Black Soap… and yes, it is natural 3-in-1 bodywash and shampoo/conditioner. It’s not very fragrant but something that we are prepared to replace upon request. The Icemaker went out after an Islandwide energy fall out which caused a part to burn out - we sourced and ordered the part immediately. However, We had big bags of ice in all freezers thoughout the 3 kitchen areas and there was still plenty left when you checked out. All of these above items were all explained and sent to Stephanie via Whatsapp in the check-in info. From Onike. Sounds like the salt air and sun took their toll on the Hamocks. I am sure Onike our Manager could’ve gotten this imediately fixed or replaced if she was told about it.. She is usually very observant and responsive but told me that none of this was ever brought up to her or her team at anytime during your stay. Thank you though for pointing these things out so that we can immediately address and/or assess new alternatives that we can add to our program. Warmest, …….
