Persimmon est idéalement situé à proximité des piscines pour adultes / familles, des terrains de jeux, des courts de tennis et du centre de remise en forme. La plage et le centre-ville ne sont qu'à quelques minutes à pied. Au premier étage, il y a deux chambres doubles, chacune avec sa propre moitié de salle de bain privée. Entre ces chambres est un bain d'eau en contrebas unique avec coin lavabo. Il y a aussi une projeté dans la zone de pont inférieur. A l'étage, le deuxième étage comprend une cuisine entièrement équipée, d'un salon avec une cheminée, une salle à manger et d'une salle de bain complète avec douche / baignoire combo. La véranda de la cuisine offre un espace supplémentaire pour dîner et se détendre. Au troisième étage, il y a une chambre à coucher queen ouverte qui comprend une terrasse privée.

Lovely porches, relaxing vacation at Persimmon

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Seaside, and Persimmon fit us perfectly. The porch off the kitchen really made it for us - great for first thing in the morning coffee. Strolling around Seaside, going to the market and watching kids play in the bowl, easy access to the beautiful, biking around to Grayson and Alys beach! Helpful staff! We plan to come back!

another fun vacation

Great Spring Break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: charming house that was well appointed with everything we needed. The downstairs bedrooms are set up nicely, and the shower that opens up to the porch is a great way to keep sand out of the house!! The top floor bedroom is very small, and the bed had a twin topper on it which made for an odd sleeping experience. The screened in porches were great for morning coffee and late night chats! I do think the house could benefit from some updates, but overall we would stay here again!

Very Disappointing and Dissatisfied

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This stay was the worst of our cottage rental stays/property and we’ve been coming since 1998. The dishes were dirty and placed in the cabinet for use as if they were clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful home away from home during our recent spring break stay! The location was great, the complimentary bikes were appreciated, and the home was comfortable and clean. We had very spotty wifi at the beginning of the visit, but the management company worked diligently to fix the problem. Our only complaint was that there is no bathroom on the 3rd floor. The web description for Persimmon claims that on the third floor “a queen sized bedroom offers up another bath” plus a private balcony. Very misleading!

The beds were not comfortable, the pillows were flat, there were no closets downstairs and no hangars in the one closet upstairs. The couch was outdoor furniture - which clearly other people had complained about because there was extra foam under which did not help. This property could use an upgrade.

Recent stay at Persimmon

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was very disappointed that Master Bath was not on same floor as Master bedroom, which it advertised as being. And Master BR had no door so you could hear everything from the living room. Kitchen area was also very small with inadequate counter top space. Living room couch was very uncomfortable- like dorm room furniture. But location was great and house was clean.

A disappointing cottage

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After over 65 cottage rentals in Seaside over the years, this is the first time I would NOT recommend a house. Homeowners Collection is a wonderful agency and I love working with them however this house is just too quirky. The main bedroom doesn't have a door and the main bathroom is on a different floor. Two bedrooms don't have closets. The sofa is basically an outdoor sectional. There are no fans on the porches. On the other side, Tupelo is a wonderful street with the prettiest and and most accessible pavilion. And the cottage is near the tennis courts and two of the pools The screened porches are very roomy. The unit has a Keurig if you want to bring your own pods. I'm sorry to write a negative review but I wish I had known the inconveniences.

Needs Appliance Update

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The washing machine did not work for the entire stay. A washing machine is an essential at the beach. Customer service inattention and minimal response to this was unacceptable. I had to call several times to finally get fresh towels/wash cloths delivered. The first time they brought bath mats instead of towels and we had nothing to shower with after a day at the beach. I walked to the town center to try to locate the office to exchange the bath mats and there was no office that was easily accessible/locatable to guests. I called the number only to be told I would have to wait on housekeeping to bring towels to our cottage, that the office (which I never actually found), could not swap the bath mats for me. Customer service didn't follow up with us and let us know the washing machine was not going to be fixed while we were there. We went the whole week without being able to wash clothes/swim suits/beach towels, when we packed as though we would be able to. We have been vacationing in Seaside for years and have stayed in a HomeOwners Collection Cottage before. This was not handled as it should have been, per the standards they normally maintain. Appliances should be updated in the cottages regularly and maintained for guests. Having a washer/dryer set up that is over 15/20 years old is asking for dissatisfied guests. So disappointing.

This property was perfect for our family. The location was wonderful and we loved the screened in porch and other outdoor areas. The kitchen is small but well stocked and organized. Bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless. Previous reviews mentioned mattress issue with third floor bed. It seems to have been resolved. It was very comfortable,

Undesired floor plan

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photos and layout are misleading. The 2 bedrooms on the first level share the walk-in shower. However, both bedrooms open into the shower area which is inconvenient as you have to make sure others know you may step out of the shower. There is no closets in either bedroom downstairs. One bedroom has no dresser or anything to put clothes in. There was no ironing board. The chairs on the upstairs porch are broken. This home needs cleanup and work completed. Would not recommend.

It was a full sized bed with 2 twin mattress toppers that didn’t fit the bed. The couch wasn’t great either to sit around with family and friends on. If those 2 things were changed, this house would be perfect.

Great Location. Great Accommodations.

We really enjoyed our stay at Persimmon. It was my husband and myself and three college-aged kids and we had plenty of sleeping space and places to spread out. Can't beat the location being near Seaside and the beach. The management company was very on it, too, to ensure that everything was perfect.
