Loved the access to the river trails!! Clean, neat, easy access to activities, but quiet and out of the way for rest and relaxation. Also loved the fact that nearby breweries with outdoor music could be heard when opening the sliding door but weren't heard if the door was closed.

This property has the basics. Although, it’s older and in poor shape. The wicker furniture in bedroom was very dusty and bed was thick with dust bunnies around mattress bottom. The Meredith people did come to clean up, but didn’t bring a vacuum, the night stands and headboard had years of dust piled onto the wicker. Little things like the shower tracks were filthy, we asked that they come back to clean, which they did, it was improved after that. One living room pillow was so stained and dirty we barely wanted to touch it.The tv doesn’t really work to watch anything-no streaming on it that we could figure out.Hopefully the owners will be able to tidy it up so the next folks that decide to stay here have a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. Best part of our stay here was the access to the pool! Great pool, clean, the bathrooms there were nice and clean as well.

Thank you for detailing your stay and for letting us know what worked well and what didn't. I’m sorry the unit’s cleanliness and the TV setup fell short. We will schedule a detailed cleaning (including vacuuming and deep dusting), launder or replace stained pillows, thoroughly clean the shower tracks, and have maintenance check the TV and streaming connections. Thank you again for the feedback, we will use it to improve.

The overall Mt Bachelor property is great, but the unit itself was disappointing. We were greeted with by the occasional beeping of the carbon monoxide detector which had low batteries and had been unplugged and stuffed in the technology cabinet, presumably because it was beeping, making it hard to find. The listing failed to mention that the A/C is a portable unit located in the living room. The unit not is not only loud, making it hard to be in the room while it’s running, it also doesn’t cool the bedroom I’m sure this isn’t a problem most of the year, but in mid-July when it’s over 90 outside it’s not enjoyable. The carpet is dirty and the general presentation feels haphazard, things like extra bedding on the floor in the bedroom closet and the technology cabinet not well organized.

Thank you for mentioning the location — I'm happy that was a positive part of your trip. I'm very sorry that you encountered several concerns during your stay. We will replace the carbon monoxide detector batteries and ensure all alarms are properly installed and visible. We do state on the listing that the A/C unit is portable, but I'm sincerely sorry that it was loud and ineffective during your stay. We will look into installing it in the bedroom instead. I’ve shared your comments with housekeeping and maintenance so the carpet receives a deep clean and the technology cabinet is reorganized, too. Thank you for the detailed feedback — it helps us improve.
