DaySea Cottage

C’est un point d’atterrissage spacieux en bord de mer pour les grands rassemblements de famille et d’amis. Sa grande salle, avec une cuisine de style cottage, une salle Ă  manger avec un bar et un salon traditionnel est chauffĂ©e par une grande cheminĂ©e en pierre et le soleil coule Ă  flots par les grandes fenĂȘtres situĂ©es Ă  l'avant de la maison. Cette vue imprenable sur le Pacifique se rĂ©percute Ă  l'Ă©tage supĂ©rieur dans deux suites king avec fenĂȘtres suffisamment grandes pour que vous n'ayez pas Ă  vous lever du lit le matin pour voir l'ocĂ©an! Les enfants apprĂ©cieront Ă©galement une grande chambre avec lits superposĂ©s pouvant accueillir 8 personnes et Ă©quipĂ©e de jouets, de livres et de la tĂ©lĂ©vision. Moms 80th bday

My mom wanted a weekend with her kids. Earlier in the year she had broken her ankle so walking is not easy. This house was perfect for her. Most everything was on the main level, including the bedroom we assigned her to. She was able to sit for hours and watch the ocean which she loved. As for the rest of the house, it was great for having little kids. A play area upstairs that kept the kids entertained, and not a bunch of toys being in everyone’s way. Lots of room for everyone to have space by themselves. I rent lots of properties and when they say “fully stocked” they mean it. I usually bring my own pots and pans to prepare for a large group, but I didn’t need too. There was a crockpot, waffle maker, electric griddle. Check in was great, after we worked through some issues, that may have been because of my own mistake with putting in my phone number inaccurately. I would suggest this home to anyone that wants the beach for a great quiet gathering.

Wonderful stay, perfect location

Awesome property with an amazing view from the main level and upstairs bedrooms. The bunk room was perfect for all the kids, and the open floor plan on the main level with the large kitchen was great for hanging out. The rec room garage conversion was a bonus; the kids played a lot of ping pong over the weekend. The beach stairs provide easy access to the huge beach. The last few steps could be a bit dicey, but that wasn’t a problem for anyone in my party. The location near the north end of the beach is perfect; we had a nice walk to the unpopulated part of the beach bluffs and to the hidden beach around the north end at low tide. Wonderful spot for a mini family reunion!

Wonderful stay with extended family

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful house. The views are amazing. There were 12 of us and we found the place well suited for such a large group. The house was very clean and well stocked. Although we didn't do a lot of cooking we didn't lack for anything (other than a pair of scissors). Since the house is near the end of the road we found it very quiet and could simply enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The kids loved the easy beach access and we all loved exploring the nearby tidal pools. All-in-all we had an amazing time.

I can’t express how much we loved everything! We had bad experience with blue pacific rentals so was very leery to even communicate with management. This rental we will rent again plus we highly recommend Meredith Lodging!

I’ve already done this so I downrated communication. Only complaint was final access to beach. Recommendation was knife sharpener and bedroom nightlights.

Excellent location

Overall this house worked out great for all of us. There was enough room for everyone to move around without bumping into each other. The beach access was great and convenient. The view was stunning all day long. The open concept was wonderful. Everyone agreed to rent this house again.

Beautiful home and location

This is the ultimate place to bring a family, or two or three! The kids room and ping pong table kept my kids busy for hours. Grand parents and parents enjoyed the two master bedrooms with breathtaking views! Kitchen was terrific and well stocked. Wish check-in time was before 5pm. Hard to do with dinner prep and settling in.

A Well-deserved Vacation

We rented the house with 3 other couples. One big plus was everyone had their own private bedroom. There was plenty of "group" activity space including eating, relaxing, watching tv. But the best was being on the ocean and THE BEACH. The only negatives, which were not really negatives, were the distance to town and parking at the house. Definitely room for two but the third was a little iffy. Overall, I highly recommend this house and rental company.

Great House, Beautiful Beach!

The house was very clean and on a small cliff overlooking a very sandy beach. While the water was cold even in July, the natural beauty of the water, trees, and sand make this a great location to visit. The views from the front room windows are stunning and the feel of Lincoln City was very laid back and relaxed. While we love to try new places, there is a good chance that my family will be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation at DaySea Cottage. The location, views and the cottage were perfect. We had 5 kids in our party and the kids bedroom area is a super hit. We loved the various art pieces and the notes about the history of this cottage. Super easy access to the beach and we were comfortable going down the stairs even when its dark. Only thing that I would have liked is a fooseball table instead of ping pong. This might be more a personal preference and also to save on the space in the garage in winter time. We will cherish the memories and the pictures from this vacation for a long time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was just lovely - very roomy and the kitchen had everything I was looking for to cook a meal - a few spices in the cupboard would have been nice, but no biggie, shopping was close and convenient. The only drawback we had was at the bottom of those lovely stairs heading out to the beach, at the bottom they stopped and you had to climb over large rocks to get onto the sand - a bit tricky if you're not real limber. Aside from that, I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the place to a friend.
