Cette maison récemment rénovée de 3 chambres à coucher / 1 salle de bain est située à Munising, prÚs du Picthore Rocks National Lakeshore! Tout le confort d'un hÎtel avec votre propre cuisine! This property was clean and fairly well equipped. Our access to the property was delayed by over an hour and the host did not respond to my messages through VRBO. Access required a 15-minute phone call to VRBO.

Great Place

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, beds were comfortable, and was close to all night time activities. Couldn't park our trailer at the house but the owner had a great lot not far from the home.

Inaccurate description of property

There was trash piled up at the back decking and smelling awful, the carpet was dirty and very stained, the kitchen was very greasy and the furnishings are old and stained. The cottage is located in a very undesirable area, would not rent it again

Nice, but overpriced

The property was nice, but it’s simply overpriced for what you get. There’s no AC, which is fine for this area overall. But a few windows didn’t have screens in them, and there was only 1 fan inside for us to use. It’s very close to the main road, so you hear all of traffic drive by since you have to have the windows open. Also, I’m not on vacation to watch TV, but the service is basically non-existent. There is a Roku, but it’s pretty much useless. Munising itself was beautiful, but this rental was overpriced for what you get.

We stayed at this rental for a shirt 3 day weekend.

This was a perfect place to stay while visiting Munising for a quick 3 day weekend. We enjoyed all the major highlights of pictured rocks and enjoyed a comfy and clean house to come home to and relax. The beds were very comfortable as well as the big oversized couch in the living room. We would rent this property again.

Disorganized communication, but overall met expectations

Overall experience at the property was fine and met expectations, but we had difficulty getting in touch with the host. I had to contact VRBO the day of check in to get the host's phone number and text them to request our check-in details. The property was also double booked by mistake, which thankfully did not affect my group because we arrived first, but another guest had to stay in a different property that the host owned.

Updated Family Friendly Home near Pictured Rocks

This home is just a couple of blocks from Lake Superior, but near a busy street/highway. The kitchen included updated appliances, cabinets, and dishes/etc., but no dishwasher. Decor was simple but sweet and the large sofa and beds were comfy and clean. Two of the bedrooms were however sparsely furnished - neither with a bureau and one without a closet -- but functional. The backyard patio was a plus with a fire pit and grill, but neither were in very good condition. The host -- who also owns a local resort -- was not very responsive, but, all in all, this was a decent place place to stay while visiting the lovely surrounding area.

Munising Digs

Home was clean and well equipped kitchen! Beds were comfortable and sheets were nice. Couch was too soft for me. Need a small table in between the 2 black chairs! There was 3 of us girls so we enjoyed having our own room. Enjoyed the Brownstone Inn ( need reservations) and the Galleria coffee company. Great location in a somewhat run down location.

amazing location!

the location is ideal, everything you need is nearby and not very far from amazing sites. being able to have a fire and relax at the end of the day is a nice bonus to this cozy home

Great place

We came up to Munising to snowshoe the National Park. The location was perfect. Close to grocery and downtown and to the park. Also a short drive to Eben ice caves. This house was clean and comfortable and everything we were looking for. We brought our own food and the kitchen was great. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much.

Lovely munising home!

Me and my friends loved staying at this property! It was in the perfect location, close to the water and hiking trails. The property was clean and exactly what we where expecting. Bedrooms where even bigger than we thought and couch was huge and extra comfy! Would definitely stay again!

Great location, very clean and modern. Recently renovated. Would have liked earlier communication from owner about check in process. Also need to add street numbers to outside of the house to help find it. Overall great place!

Decent but noisy

The property was good and fit exactly what we needed for a 3 day girls getaway. It was clean and easy to find. The only thing that bothered us was the constant traffic. At the time of our visit, the road through the downtown area was being redone and was a one way road. For that reason, all traffic going East was detoured onto the road that this property is on which made it quite noisy. Other than that, it was great.

Rental

The house size is nice for what we needed. The living room was great. It had room for everyone to relax. I will way I wish there was curtains in the rooms instead of blinds. Since the road is becoming a one way all the traffic is being re routed down this road. It is very bright at night with all the headlights. And it’s VERY loud. If you plan on cooking while you stay there are very little pots and pans to use. It made it a little difficult to cook for 6 people.

It worked for 5 adults. We ended up at the yellow perch because the first choice was double booked. Not sure I would have paid the listed price for the house if it was not in trade for my first choice. Pretty setting for the summer not much for the winter.

Cozy and Convenient

This place was perfect for my family’s needs. So convenient for shopping, eating and visiting friends. It was clean and supplied with everything we could need. Check in and check out were a breeze. Loved being able to park off the alley. Just wish we could have had one more night to be able to grill out and socialize on the patio. My only complaint would be that the smoke alarm was very sensitive...it went off when we warmed something up in the oven and when we used the toaster. Maybe it should be located farther away from the kitchen. Despite that minor annoyance, we enjoyed our stay....thank you, Erin.
