We had a week in February 2024 and we had an amazing time. Loads to keep the 3 and 6 year old entertained. Stunning views just topped everything off. The property manager on here was fantastic to deal with, as well as the local one we met when getting our tour on arrival.
Thank you for having us!
We had the very best time celebrating my 60th birthday. We were a group of 12 with ages ranging from 4 months to 66 years and everybody had great fun. The villa was beautiful with great amenities, superb views and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. It was very easy to have contact with the host. Although you will definitely need a car to shop or go down to the port for a meal you will not want to be away from the villa for long. Fabulous experience!!!
Perfect home for a reasonable price. Stayed with my family and we had an amazing time! Contact with the property manager went well, as well als the in- and out checking. Can be tricky to drive up to the house but had no problem with that at all. We enjoyed the pool with the connected poolbar, as well as the jacuzzi and the pingpong table. Salobreña is a beautiful place in itself, but it is also definitely worth visiting surrounding places such as Granada and Nerja.
Villa was great, large and everything you could wish for. Pool was a highlight as was the games room. The large garage and drive was also very useful. The owner needs to update the photos as this villa is showing some signs of wear and tear - things haven't been maintained to the highest order, e.g. front door was badly warped and we struggled to lock and unlock it, bathroom doors wouldn't shut fully, the coffee machine was broken (although apparently this was broken by previous guests), shower heads fixinging had completely come off the wall. Also there were no bedside tables. Overall though we had an excellent time and really enjoyed our stay
Our stay was fabulous. Only a few niggles ...The 'futons' in each some bedrooms are only adequate for a small child and there is no 'proper' bedding for them. Our 7yr old grandson had just a 'throw' blanket to cover him with a sheet that didn't fit.We were told on arrival that the coffee machine was broken and wouldn't provide milk based coffee like latte. It turned out that nobody had cleaned the milk container for some time and the milk in there had turned into something like cheese. One of the parasols outside was broken. We had serious wind one day which blew the pool cover completely off - nobody's fault but I guess it would be useful to have some sort of anchors for high wind.It would be useful to have small side tables for the beds.Having said all that we have a seriously good time and were very lucky with the weather. You definitely need a car for this property, it's very high with a fabulous view, but of course a really steep and winding road up.
Me and my friends spent a week at this house and we enjoyed it. The pool with the bar is very cool. We also liked the table tennis behind the house. The kitchen is well equipped with everything and the gas grill in the outside bar is good for barbecuing.
On the down side, the house has some kind of a problem with plumbing, whenever we would leave the windows closed we could smell the bathrooms. Also the house if very far from the beach and there is nothing within walking distance, you need a car when you want to go to the supermarket or to the town center.
This is a great property with views over the town of Salobrena and the Mediterranean sea. The house itself is well organized and every bedroom has an ensuite. The bedrooms are compact, but efficiently designed, and every one has an amazing view. BBQ, games room, bar.....something for everyone. You need a car as it is a long walk up the hill......but good exercise! A couple of minor issues were quickly addressed by the property manager Cristina. The only let-down for us was that the local electric company were doing some repairs and that meant the pool couldn't be heated. Highly recommend this property!
This property is amazing, it's finished to a very high standard, and the location and views are stunning.
The 6 double rooms all with en-suite are comfortable and well equipped.
The kitchen and laundry have everything you need and easily cater for a large group holiday (excellent coffee machine :D )
The games room, heated pool, hottub and table-tennis kept our young adults entertained (aged 14 - 19)
The sun loungers, swimup pool bar and outdoor kitchen / BBQ catered for the older adults.
The villa is located on a hill, offering beautiful views of Salobrena. This villa does require a car for your stay, as it's a very long steep road from the main road.
There is a large double garage with additional external parking spaces, all within the eletric gated perimeter.
We would highly recommend this property for a family / friends break
We loved the house the minute we found it in VRBO, but once we checked-in we loved it even more. It was 15 of us including children. They have basically every amenity you can think of. Heated pool, jacuzzi, ping pong table, pool table, arcade, theater, fuzzball table. Nice grilling area next to the pool equipped with fridge, sink and grill. Bathrooms in every bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and climate controlled in all living areas. Huge tables for the whole family indoors and outdoors.2 car garage and space for at least another two or three cars in the driveway. Grandpas loved it and, all kids loved it and, all other adults loved it as well. Highly recommended! Salobrena is very nice and quiet with super friendly people and nice beaches and many restaurants. Malaga and Granada are one hr away.
This is a great place with plenty of space, we shared this with another family.
The villa is as described but would benefit from some up to date photos to show the actual villa not just the images from build.
There are some parts of the villa that have been damaged and poorly repaired which did let the villa down a bit.
There was no information on the equipment i the villa, so trying to work out how to use things was difficult sometimes.
There is no sattelite / UK TV either.
A car is a must the villa is up a long and steep hill, it took just over 5 minutes in a car to get from the main road to the villa and there is nothing close to the villa so you need transport to get around.
Taxis are available and we used one a few times to get to and from Solebrena at a cost of âŹ20 each year.
Wunderschöne Villa u. toller 15 Meter Pool mit phantastischer Aussicht! Leider gab es einige MĂ€ngel:1. AuĂenbereich (Grill,Bar)schmutzig2. die lt. Beschreibung integrierte Kaffeemaschine fehlte. Nur kleine Kapselmaschine vorhanden. Filtermaschine wurde nachgeliefert. 3.
Everything was perfect, beginning with the pictures of the property: really reflecting the reality. Cristina, the person in charge of the house is amazing, she is efficient, helpful and super friendly. The property was really clean and the whole equipment was working perfectly. And finally the terrace, the pool and the stunning view on the bay...we had an incredible week there!
Wonderful property but you do need a car! Could have done with a welcome pack when we arrived as it was late and we had no water toilet roll etc . There should be a book with all the instructions taxi numbers etc.
