L'appartement 8 offre une vue à 180 ° sur la plage de Narrabeen, y compris à la fois sur Long Reef et sur North Narrabeen jusqu'aux promontoires de Gosford. La chambre principale offre une vue sur Long Reef & Gosford et une grande fenêtre pour regarder le lever du soleil sur l'océan Pacifique dans le confort de votre lit. Les baleines fréquentent la plage de Narrabeen entre avril et novembre, enseignant même à leurs veaux les cordes juste au large de The Coachhouse.

Great little spot

Tight quarters - but perfect for a small group looking to spend most of their time out and about in the area. Superb area to visit - awesome sun, surf and local restaurants.

Blissful escape

The accommodation was perfect - an ideal location, on the beach, walking distance to the lake, shopping centre, and a great coffee shop on the corner. Robert was available and ensured everything went well. An all round lovely holiday and excellent hosts.

Adorable little apartment with beautiful views of the beach!

We loved our stay at this beachfront apartment! Clean, quiet, and the host made us feel so welcome. The beach right off the property was gorgeous and not crowded. Great for walking, collecting seashells or just relaxing. Off the beaten path but not hard to get around or go into the city. We all were so glad we chose this place to stay during our vacation!

Lovely beach cottage feel

We had a lovely relaxing few days with wonderful beach views and breezes from both bedrooms. The apartment is cosy like the pictures and well appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen. Easy to access to Netflix and the Wifi. The direct access to the beach was unfortunately not available to us when we visited as the sea wall has been damaged by storms but the apartment is well located in the heart of Narrabeen and just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and the lagoon from the house. We booked the house for a winter escape to enjoy its history and charm and location and would stay again.

Hi Hank Thanks for the review, it really is quite a special property and place in Sydney (almost like being up the North Coast of NSW without the drive) The villages of Narrabeen and Collaroy add to the quaintness of the area and we would love to host you again the next time you want a vacation without flying or the long drive.

The most GORGEOUS getaway!

I stayed here with my best friend and our daughters (9yo and 12yo). The beach is literally in your backyard. We love the ocean breeze so we kept all the windows open when we were home and you could hear the waves crashing. Absolutely stunning and clean!!! The hosts were amazing too with their instructions, and supplied MORE than usual hosts with goodies and supplies. Also supplied heaps of towels for all those ocean dips ;-) Thank you! Highly Rate!!!

Occasionally we have guests who are unhappy with circumstances in their lives and they reflect this unhappiness about others. This review is not only unfair, it is not accurate. The property is currently being repainted and has some scaffolding surrounding part of the building. It is not a boarding house and does not look like one. The front door is a security door, which leads into the hallway and stairs. In addition, each apartment also has it's own security door. Occasionally guests will leave the front door propped open, on their visit to the beach, which is right in front of the property. The shower does not leak, if it is turned off properly and we have found that the toilet button was occasionally sticking, which has now been attended to by our plumber. This guest also wanted a number of changes to her booking, which we made for her. It is completely unfair and unwarranted for this guest to give this property a 1* rating. If you examine all of our other reviews, you will find that they are very positive and this is not a correct indication of the property. I felt that it was important to make this comment, to give a realistic portrayal of this apartment. Thanks Robert

Everything was clean and neat. The only thing was we paid extra to have air conditioning and they knew it didn’t work and still no one ever came to repair it. Location was nice easy transportation public beaches were gorgeous and the Internet works great just had no air conditioning.

Hi Larry Thanks for staying with us and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We have had the technician out to fix the aircon 4 times and now they have decided to replace it so this issue should be rectified shortly. (the aircon is a powerful Mitsubishi which is only 2 years old and under warranty). They actually came to try to fix the issue with the Aircon while you were staying with us, however they were unsuccessful. Many apologies for the inconvenience, however the seabreezes through your open windows generally keep the apartment nice and cool. We would love to host you again the next time you are in Australia. In need of a good clean and overhaul

This apartment was right on the beach so for beach lovers it is ideally situated. The owner was responsive, friendly, and the check in process was easy. BUT that's about the best I can say. The apartment itself was very tired and drab. It had a feeling of a boarding house about it. It was in need of a good clean and overhaul. The bathroom was tiny and the bed was uncomfortable. The worst thing was it smelled strongly of sickly sweet disinfectant and I couldn't adjust to it. I also had to park 4 blocks away after 10pm. I'm sorry to say I left after the first night, having booked four nights.

Blissful Paradise With All You Need

I was immediately drawn to the property when searching around for units with beachview access. Just like in the pictures, I was very happy to find just how close the property was. The sounds of the ocean waves crashing at night soothed manier parts of the soul. I loved the Victorian esque decor mixed with the modern. Functionality wise, it had everything you could possibly need - though when you’re so close to the ocean what more do you really need? The host had prepared a thoughtful goodie box on entry which saved a first minute shop to the supermarket. Further allowing me to relish the amazing views from the unit. I made the most of the time catching the 5.45 sunrise which was spectacular, before going for a very peaceful walk along the beach and swim at the crater pool on the end of the beach strip. 11/10 stars and no doubt I will definitely be back again. Originally I’d booked the wrong weekend, and the host managed to change the booking for me, which was much appreciated. So Thank You, very much Robert Waz

Having an enormous backyard which leads onto the sands of the surf beach is very rare in Sydney, with far less than 100 properties in all of Sydney having this feature. You will immediately feel at home in one of our renovated apartments.

The Coachhouse was one of the first buildings built on the Northern beaches that is still standing. You can imbue yourself with comfortable scenic history. So whether you're looking at a summer getaway or some winter whale watching, each self-contained apartment is fitted with full-sized kitchen, laundry services, free WIFI and Netflix. We're here to make your vacation everything you'd wish for, giving you your own piece of paradise for business or pleasure.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Walk straight from the backyard to the ocean, transport at your door, lifeguards next door, shops and restaurants down the road, various parks and lakes to boot - The Coachhouse boasts charm, character and convenience. We are uniquely positioned directly on the beach, providing our guests instant beach access from the expansive back garden. Only a handful of places in Sydney (and New South Wales) have similar access, however most don't have the additional luxury of being situated next to a Surf Lifesaver's Club.

Even if you get tired of the beach, Narrabeen Lake is right down the road (<5 mins), offering a host of things to do solo or with a family. Home to pelicans, swans and cockatoos, all peckish for a feed, it's a great way to keep the family entertained after lunch by the lake or kayaking and biking around the lake.

This property is conveniently located between Narrabeen and Collaroy. An iconic building and property, owning 30 Metres of beachfront, has its backyard continuing onto the patrolled South Narrabeen Beach, only 20 metres south of the Lifesavers Club. Each unit has its own level, private fenced yard.
