Cette maison construite sur mesure a tout avec très grandes chambres à 3 salle de bain complète, planchers de bois franc dans un développement clôturé bordé par la forêt nationale. Entièrement meublé avec un plan d'étage ouvert qui est fait pour que vous puissiez visiter avec vos amis et votre famille. VUES de la partie sud de la vallée de Canaan qui est à une courte distance en voiture du ski, du golf et du vélo. We enjoyed our stay, thank you. The driveway into the property is a bit tricky and steep, particularly when we first arrived (at night). We look forward to booking another property with your company for our next trip to Canaan Valley! Very easy to work with, very responsive to email question.

Our stay

When they say 4 wheel drive they mean it. We were lucky it’s been a mild winter but the driveway is steep and you should have a 4WD vehicle.

Week in WV

Clean, open, mountainous. Our family of 5 adults was very comfortable. Nice living spaces, plenty of sleeping space. Drive up to the house very steep and bumpy gravel, it was an adventure! We had a great week!!

Beautiful area and home.

Family and friends gathered and had a wonderful thanksgiving experience only issues we had were furniture could use an update, and kitchen pots,pans and stove were not as clean I think they should have been. All in all it was wonderful

Beautiful, comfortable place to relax, ski or hike and spend time with family and friends. Not much else going on. House was very comfortable. Loved the deck when the sun came out. Loved the open layout and big kitchen. Team was fine. I had very little communication with them.

Family getaway

This cabin was just as described! It’s beautiful, very clean & was perfect for all ages. 3 bathrooms was a plus for us! The driveway is a little steep so keep that in mind. The only thing I think needs a little work - is there are a few outlets that need changed due to chargers or something not staying in. We will definitely be staying here again! It was wonderful.

Our stay was perfect, the only issue was that our stay was too short :) The whole property was awesome, the view, fireplace and hot tub is a perfect combination for any getaway. So close to both Timberline and Cannan for skiing. It was easy to work with your team, instructions where easy to follow so we had very little interaction which is good. :)

Very beautiful property except the road which goes from dumpster to the property. There was no gas propane for the gas grill. Except this, everything was good. It was clean, kitchen was very good with lots of things. In one word, awesome

Winter getaway!

The property was as advertised. Some of the amenities could be updated. Biggest complaint with this VRBO was the check in time of 4:00 and check out time of 10:30. You basically are wasting two full days! They should find a way for check in to be at 2:00 with check out at noon.

Nice home but don’t go with more than 2 vehicles. Most of the driveways in North Point are very narrow and backing out or trying to turn around can be problematic. Hot tub was nice, clean and well maintained. Master bedroom mattress was ok, but egg crate and padded mattress pad on top to help. Also lots of steps, bedrooms on lower and upper floors, living space on level between the two. We’ve rented from Mountaintop many times, always a good experience.

Our family met in West Virginia for Thanksgiving.

Our family met in West Virginia for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, utensils, etc., which made cooking a large meal easier. We also loved the views and the morning sunrises. Beautiful property in an amazing location. This trip was wonderful. We made new memories with our family and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Firefly Chalet and the Davis area. Becky was very responsive to any questions and the check-in, check-out process was easy.

Thanksgiving Gathering

The house was just as described on the listing. Lots of space for our group to spread out and enjoy the holiday. The kitchen was very well equipped for preparing a large meal. We had a great time hiking the trails above the development. Great place. We will definitely return.

The view was amazing.

The view was amazing. Especially from the top tower room! Can’t wait to come back again, for a longer stay. Hopefully when there is snow on the ground. Easy to work with. Great communication. Easy to understand instructions.

Lovely home for a crowd

We had plenty of space. The decks and hot tub were amazing. The rooms were comfortable and well stocked. Some info about check in and wifi was inaccurate which wasn’t critical but lacked attention to detail. Having to strip beds, run laundry and dishwasher by 10:30 checkout put a damper on the last day.

Enjoyable time

Great location to Blackwater Falls Park. Spacious home, kitchen well equipped. Microwave not working , reported to office, they offered a replacement if wanted. All light switches labelled, very helpful. great deck space !

Spacious and comfortable cabins are hard to find with a family our size and this one was beyond perfect. Each family had their own room to stay in and you can’t beat three full bathrooms. Nobody was on top of each other the entire stay. The outside space was phenomenal especially the multi layered decks! The kitchen had just about everything you could think of for cooking and each bathroom was equipped with plenty of towels. Not having cable was OK with us, the Roku provided us a good family movie for one evening. The young kids loved the third story and the adults didn’t mind it either! We had a lovely stay with amazing views! Becky was amazing and answered all my questions promptly! It’s nice to know things such as local pizza places. When we picked up our information the young lady was courteous and helpful.
