Great location.

Condo was in a great location…minutes from the beach. Very clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. Guest bathroom could use some type of shelves or cabinets- there is no where to put your stuff. A second towel rack would be nice. A drying rack would also be a plus.

I wish we would have payed closer attention to the future reservation policy because when we asked on Thursday to reserve the same unit for 2018, it had already been given away.

First time at loggerhead cay

We’ve been coming to Sanibel every summer for years but always stayed at pointe santo . Because it wasn’t ready yet we came across this property and although it was strange at first being somewhere different we were very happy with the condo and all of the amenities. I thought it was really cool. There was a separate storage facility for all of the beach supplies other places sometimes have it cramping up the lanai. And speaking of beach supplies, there were plenty and we loved having the buggy to carry everything to the beach. And as far as the condo, it was very nice and updated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall could not have asked for much more, the location is amazing, the beach is beautiful, the pool is amazing and super close. The only negative was I had forgotten how hot it was here in mid July, I mean I knew it was going to be hot obviously but the heat index was over 105 every day, night time lows almost never got below 80 and the A/C in this unit did struggle to keep it cool, I was nervous with it running almost constantly just to maintain the temp for ~72 in the unit.

Nice location on the property. Condo was nice too.A few suggestions to the owner would be to fix a few things. Put a safety bar in the second bathroom for sure.Add a dish rack for washing dishes to keep under the sink. Also a wooden drying rack on lanai for beach towels to dry and suits.We have stayed at Loggerhead for over 25 years and rented many condo's there.Also this unit was limited on towels and complimentary kitchen and bath items.

Next time please let us know if you need more towels (we leave 8 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 washcloths) as we would happily dropped them off. We do supply each rental with starter kits for the kitchen and that we send each reservation, prior to check in, recommendations on supplies you may need to replenish. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Great Location, Lovely Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loggerhead Cay 232 was exactly as described. The owner and the rental company could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. We had hesitated making our final payment due to the red tide, and they graciously allowed us to wait a few more weeks before making our decision. We were SO glad we didn't cancel, because the beaches and Gulf had cleared by our arrival.The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, flatware and dishes. (Although I really wish all the condos would come with a crockpot!)The master bedroom was fantastic. If a couple were traveling alone, this unit would be ideal. There were two of us staying in the guest room, however, and as much as I LOVE the fact that there were two full size beds instead of twins (I wish more units were like that). We really wished there had been a vanity in the guest bathroom for our toiletries to sit out since we had two women sharing that space. The walk to the beach wasn't too far, and was made much simpler by the fact that the unit provides plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and a wagon for hauling them! There were even styrofoam coolers and beach toys galore in the storage room!Overall, the unit was spotless and cheery, with a great location just a couple minutes from the Lighthouse in one direction and Jerry's grocery story in the other!

Reviewer Comments: The location is great - close to the amazing beach and close enough to amenities (the bike path starts right outside the property), but still nicely tucked away. The property is quiet and peaceful, and the pool was clean and big and a nice temperature. Our rambunctious kids were not shushed while they played (something I had heard happens at some of the other properties in the area). The unit itself was very clean and had a good layout. The parking, elevator and garbage/recycling are all conveniently close. The beds/linens/pillows were pretty good. The view was amazing. Also, the provision of games and beach stuff is a nice touch. I'd recommend just a few upgrades for the owner - 1. I really would have liked a few good paring knives, 2. we seemed to run out of hot water when all six of us needed a shower after a day out (not sure if you can do anything about this), 3. It would be nice to have a supply of things like toilet paper, coffee filters, ziplocs, and tinfoil on hand, and 4. it would be great to have a keyless entry on the unit. Re: the property management company - Check-in was easy and the management agency was very accommodating (even giving us a ride when we locked ourselves out of our rental!). Overall, this rental was easy, clean, and suited us well. I'd recommend it for families.

Most everything you need in the kitchen if you are cooking in. Our only complaint is the incredibly slow internet speed. It was almost impossible to successfully use the internet because it was soooo slow. For people who work on vacation, this was frustrating. Really my only complaint though.
