****Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are approximately 30 restaurants now open, as well as a few shops including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes and condos are making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment at surrounding properties and throughout the island. Also, possible construction noise from interior work in adjoining or nearby units. The exterior of building 5 and the lanais will be PAINTED July 8-July 26 with temporary plastic to cover windows and lanais. Parking will be limited to spaces away from building. All elevators are working. The pool, tennis & pickleball courts are now open***
Loggerhead Cay is located on the East end of Sanibel Island, 5 minutes from the Causeway. Sanibel has 2 superior golf courses and a growing number of wonderful shops and restaurants on Periwinkle Way. It is a short drive to the Sanibel Athletic Center, library, Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, Sunday farmers market and many other amenities.
Unit 592 is in building #5. This lovely, well-maintained, open concept, 2nd floor property, can be accessed by stairs or elevator. The unit is a short walk to the beautiful shell-strewn beach and the heated pool. Loggerhead Condominium complex has gas grills in several locations, (one of which is directly in front of building #5) as well as tennis, pickleball and shuffleboard courts. The unit comfortable accommodates up to 6 guests with a king bed in the master, 2 full beds in the guest room and sleeper sofa in the living room.
As an added convenience, guests have access to beach chairs and a beach umbrella, which are stored in the guest closet beside the laundry.
The washer and dryer are conveniently located in the hall closet as you enter the condo.
