I was looking for a place that I could walk around a little on the property and that wasn’t the case. The house was clean, bed was comfortable, just not what my wife and myself were looking for.

Everyone was professional and friendly! Location could have not been any better, tucked away in the woods but so close to Helen. We can't wait to go back.

Long anniversary stay at the bear hug cabin

It allowed us to have a comfortable lodging space while being convenient to Helen and surrounding sites. It being our anniversary. The staff and management of Georgia mountain rental were very helpful and understanding of our needs. Going as far as delivering flowers and displaying them on the table in a captivating manner. We couldn’t help noticing them when you entered. We will continue to use Georgia mountain rentals . When visiting the area in the future. We will also recommend them . We would like to say thanks to Georgia mountain rentals for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Bear Hug Cabinet Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at the Bear Hug cabin, and everything was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Tucked away in a peaceful setting that offers complete privacy, the cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy, and the perfect size for the two of us and our dog.The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials—we cooked breakfast most mornings and made a couple of dinners, never needing a tool or pan that wasn't already provided. We also loved having access to games, puzzles, streaming services, and a washer/dryer. The standout highlight for us was the hot tub, which became our favorite nightly ritual!Communication with the management team was top-notch. Directions to the cabin were completely spot-on and easy to follow. When we had a question about adjusting the hot tub heater and needed help tracking down a mysterious dishwasher beep, they responded right away with helpful, friendly guidance.You really can’t beat the location! With Oktoberfest in full swing, getting to Main Street in Helen took just a few minutes. We also spent a couple of days exploring Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls, both of which are literally right up the road.We truly loved our stay at Bear Hug and would jump at the chance to stay here again!

Best vacation ever thanks to the peace and tranquility of this beautiful cabin in the mountains and woods. Lots of wildlife, including a bear family with two cubs. The birds and their joyous singing were quite a treat. We will definitely recommend this cabin over and over. Thank you for helping us make unforgettable memories.

It is a lovely cabin and incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect distance from Helen and the other towns we wanted to explore. The one very small issue we had was dealt with at warp speed and completely handled. Bravo!

This cabin was everything we wanted for an end of the year get away. It was cozy, the heater worked perfectly and kept us warm, the woods were quiet and peaceful and the directions were definitely needed because our GPS took us the wrong way. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Most Excellent Base for Adventure

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From beginning to end with the rental was wonderful. Communication throughout the process, and timely instructions for access and directions was given. The Bear Hug cabin was cute, and just perfect for Honeymoon number 4 with my bride. GMRs rentals in this area are right in the middle of everything you could want to do on a far North Georgia adventure, fishing, state parks, hiking, etc. and was dog friendly. We visited during a 100% burn ban, but the fireplace and outside fire ring would be wonderful on a cool fall night.

We loved this quiet, little cabin in the woods. The hot tub and fire pit were enjoyed and our Christmas was perfect here! Thanks to the host for the cute Christmas tree and decorations that made us feel at home! We will def consider this property again!

We truly enjoyed the inside as well as outside porches and privacy. around the spa. The king bed was super comfortable and the rooms were well appointed. The only thing I would ask is that you. consider a shorter door pass the door easily shut and locked us out. without car keys, phones etc. (luckily we were blessed with neighbors with a phone to call and were immediately assisted by your toll free. #). The perfect stay for me and my (now) fiancé. A warm, cozy cabin that was the perfect setting for a romantic getaway and surprise proposal. Super close to downtown Helen, but still far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the north georgia outdoors. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend!
