Settin' on the Creek - Let Your Cares Drift Away!

This cabin is cozy on the inside and out! Once you arrive, you will be drawn to the sound of the babbling creek in the back yard. Sit in the gazebo and let your cares drift away. There is also a bench swing and an outdoor fire pit with seating all around. Relax in the hot tub after a day exploring the beautiful Helen area. This cabin is pet-friendly, so don't leave home without the doggie!

Enter the cabin through the front door and feel right at home in the large living room and open dining room. Sit back on the brand new leather furniture and watch your favorite show or sport on the smart TV through the free YouTube TV subscription. During the cooler months, start a fire in the wood burning fireplace to set the perfect atmosphere in your cabin getaway.

The kitchen features a small breakfast counter, stove/oven, microwave and full size refrigerator. There's both a standard drip coffee maker and a Keurig for your convenience. Bring your coffee and condiments for a cup of joe just the way you like it. The washer and dryer are located in the laundry room just next to the dining area.

There is a king bedroom with private bath on each side of the living room. The bedrooms have a smart TV, too! Each bathroom has tub/shower combinations and a single vanity.

Out the kitchen door is a reading porch with rocking chairs and view of the woods. Beyond this little nook is the outdoor deck with a gas grill and table for four. The hot tub has been installed and is just waiting for your arrival!

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Settin' on the Creek is available to families or to guests 21 years or older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel to the property. Road not suitable for low profile vehicles
• Pets: Pets are allowed at Settin' on the Creek.
• Location: 5 miles to downtown Helen.

Rental was in a great location. Extremely quiet, private and peaceful. Babbling brook was soothing. The house was comfortable, internet reliable. It was a comfortable, relaxing few days and we would come back.

Great stay!!

A perfect weekend getaway spot. Clean, private and great location. Back in the woods, but just down the street from Unicoi, Ruby Falls and Helen.

This was the perfect location for our celebrations. We loved the fire pit and gazebo. Our boxer also had a ball. We all had a perfect trip!

Yearly Trip to the Georgia Mountains

My family and I love to visit Helen every year for the Alpine Volks Fair, and we love Georgia Mountain Rentals. This cabin was close to where we wanted to be and had all the comforts of home. We especially love that we can bring our Bostie. We're already looking forward to our next trip!

Loved the cozy yet spacious cabin with separate king sized rooms with en suites either side of the lounge and Kitchen.Enjoyed the jacuzzi during snow flurries while the lads went disc golfing. Plenty of towels to make that happen.Thank you had a fabulous time.

HOLIDAY!!

What a delightful getaway. It was perfect for my husband myself and our yorkie. We could enjoy the sounds of silence or the sounds of the creek by the creek. If we wanted to take a stroll, the road was there for us with nature talking to us. Thank you.

Comfy Cozy Cabin

This was a perfect sized cabin for a short family getaway. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the hot tub, and would have probably have spent more time in the lovely backyard if it hadn't been raining all weekend. The cabin is just a short ride from downtown Helen, although you will have to take some gravel roads to get to the cabin. This was a very enjoyable rental and would consider a return trip in the future!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My mother and I had a lovely week-long stay in this cabin. It was close enough to Helen and other areas of interest but still afforded peace and tranquility while "at home" during our stay. Everything was clean and well-stocked, and the creek in the backyard was a nice place to sit and relax. Additionally, as a storm approached the area during our stay, the management team reached out to make sure we were safe. I would highly recommend this cabin and this management team to anyone visiting the area.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was a great experience however the housekeeping could be a little better, I had to get my dog's ball from under the loveseat and there was a baby diaper under it, also the light fixtures could have been cleaned, but overall it is a great property!

Enjoyed "Settin' on the Creek"

This was a pretty good layout for older guests, without many stairs to deal with. Only the exit from the back deck had stairs, and that backyard was otherwise accessible. Neat gazebo over the creek. It would be nice to have a gate at the top of those stairs for containing small children or pets. The cabin was exceptionally clean! Ony about 5 minutes from Helen, Ga.

Dining chairs very wobbly. One rocker in bad shape, no basics like salt and pepper, no coffee, etc. Cabin was very enjoyable except for the everyday basics.

Loved Settin on the Creek

Most everything was great!! Two recommend things: Maybe weed eat around the fire pit area and make the outdoor trash animal proof. It is hard to store or keep the trash for a whole week inside. We did not go out to eat and had a good bit of trash and would have been nice to be able to take it out.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect for 3 or four people. Nice layout with each king bedroom to opposite sides of the central living/dining area. The cabin is rustic but with all the modern conveniences.The area was kept natural and although there were about 20 cabins in the development they were well spread out. The cell phone signal was weak but excellent wifi for Internet and wifi calling. The interior streets are narrow and mostly gravel that just adds to the secluded feeling yet it's just a few minutes away from downtown Helen. As for Georgia Mountain Rentals, we did encounter a little cleaning mix-up but their response when called quickly made everything more than right. Sometimes things slip through the cracks and the test is the response. In this instance GMR earned an A+.

We had a wonderful stay! It was very peaceful, playing out in the creek or sitting in the gazebo. It wasn’t too far away from Helen, so we could go out and about easily. The outside could definitely use a good pressure washing every once in a while. That was my only issue since the gazebo and chairs were kinda dirty to sit on. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, etc. We had plenty of towels to use during the stay. The couches weren’t all that comfortable, but nothing a pillow couldn’t solve. Overall, it was a great experience!
