Notre appartement a été entièrement rénové et décoré en 2015.

Grand salon avec canapé-lit (où deux personnes supplémentaires peuvent dormir) et d'une télévision à écran plat. Cette chambre ouvre sur la terrasse privée
La salle à manger et la cuisine ouverte sur le salon.

Incredible experience

Wow, what a trip. It’s not often that you have high expectations and they are highly exceeded. Jocelyne Haven of Peace provides everything one needs. It was a spotlessly clean, spacious property that has all the amenities for our family of 3. The 2 large floors and 2 1/2 bathrooms provided us and our 16 year old granddaughter with privacy and comfort. The garden gave us a beautiful scenic view.Jocelyne was the perfect host!! She is a charming, professional host who was always available to help and provide us with helpful suggestions. Her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. We ate at nearly all of them.The 15th arrondissement is a perfect area for shopping and restaurants. There are 2 convenient metros within blocks of the house. We used the metro exclusively for the 8 days.We strongly recommend this property and we will undoubtedly return soon!Thank you Jocelyne

Wonderful apartment in great area

Jocelyne is a wonderful person to deal with, very helpful and informative. The apartment was very clean with all the amenities required, near metros and restaurants. The sun room was great to sit in. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location! Quiet, with shopping and everything you need nearby. The apartment was beautiful. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I traveled with my 3 children and there was plenty of space. Jocelyne was terrific! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We loved staying in this flat in the 15th eme - perfect location - close to metro stops and Tour de Eiffel but not touristy. Great boulangeries and cafes right around the corner. Would stay here again!

Loved our stay in Paris. It's, at the same time, both close to tourist attractions and away from the tourist sites in a quiet neighborhood where the locals live. Lots of shopping nearby as well as restaurants. Loved the small City market just down the block where we could pick up food essentials

Modern, Clean, Nicely Appointed Garden Apartment

My husband, teenage son and I just returned home from a lovely stay here. The spacious apartment is exactly as described and is remarkably quiet, despite being in the heart of the 15th and a mere 2-3 minute walk from three major subway lines. A convenient and delightful retreat.

Wonderful Stay!

Jocelyne was a great host and communicated very well! The location was so close to shops, restaurants and the metro. The space was amazing for my family of 5 and my parents. The 2 bedrooms and pull out sofa helped fit all of us. The kitchen had all the utensils and dishes needed for us and the 3 bathrooms were so nice! I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

A Perfect Haven for our Paris Olympic Stay

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home during the Olympics in Paris, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location is ideal—close enough to the heart of the city to easily enjoy all the sights, but far enough to immerse ourselves in the local charm and tranquility. The home was exceptionally well-equipped and comfortably accommodated our party of three. Jocelyne, our host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. She communicated with us seamlessly from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. Her recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafes, and markets were spot on, adding to our overall experience. The proximity to metro stations made exploring the city effortless, allowing us to enjoy all the Olympic events and the city’s offerings without any hassle. Oasis in the city

Lovely modern spacious apartment located perfectly! Safe area with grocery store across the street and restaurants all around. Short walk to metro. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Security building and welcoming host who lives out the back. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Book it!

Truly a Gem in Paris!

Exactly as shown in the pictures. It is spacious, has a full kitchen and modern layout. It was a bit chilly so we never sat outside but the sunroom felt like we were outside and was bright. The location was excellent, in a more residential area while still being close to the Metro and all major tourist sites. We went to local markets too. Good for family or 2 couples. Very quiet while being close to shops and restaurants. Jocelyn the owner was very helpful and good communication. She was there when we arrived and took us through the property. Truly a gem!

Contemporary oasis in a true Parisian neighborhood.

Jocelyn, our host, could not have been more lovely. The space is sleek, clean and a delightful respite from the hectic outside. It is located in neighborhood of Parisians, not tourists, which we found to be a plus. The convenience to the metro also made it easy. We highly recommend.

High expectations met in every way.

Communication prior to our stay and while en route was excellent. Access to the facility was granted immediately upon our arrival. Cleanliness of the facility was excellent. Location within Paris was excellent; close to shops, restaurants, and metro. Everything referenced in the VRBO listing was as advertised; zero disappointment. I would book again without even looking at another location should I return to Paris.

Beautiful view in the courtyard

This apartment is great for people that have been to Paris before. It is in a neighborhood that does not have many tourists so it has a local feel. Yet, the Eiffel tower is only a few blocks away, and it has several convenient metro stations. The owner, Jocelyne, lives close by, so she was able to meet us in the morning and explain everything in the apartment.

Place is amazing - will stay here again

The place is so nicely redone, access is great. On the first floor but quiet. Everything works well. Near two metro lines (8,10) and the Rue du Commerce us a very cute shopping Street with a nice little Park. There is a Carrefour City on the block. Place couldn't be nicer or more convenient. Jocelyne is a wonderful owner and nearby if you need anything. The AC is legit central air with lots of control panels thru out the place.

The Haven of Peace is a lovely apartment with a lovely sunroom, livingroom and kitchen on the main floor. The neighborhood has a great bakery and supermarket as well as several good restaurants. The apartment is about a five minute walk from the nearest Metro.

Great location, Great place, Great Landlord!

We had a great time in Paris. This property is well manage and maintain. You will be close from restaurants, Eiffel Tower and other main attractions. The apartment is spacious, modern, has a lot of light, nature and it is very secure. Jocelyne the Landlord was just just amazing, courteous and responded promptly to all our questions. Lovely stay

Host was very helpful and always timely with communication. Neighborhood was not in the heart of a tourist area, but the three different metro lines within minutes walk made getting everywhere easy. Apartment was clean. Stylish and well stocked for cooking if you choose. Only caution is that the stairs down to the 2nd bedroom and bath are rather steep, so caution if you plan on staying with small children. Also, the downstairs bedroom and bath have no windows, so might be a problem for some….not an issue for us as the rooms were well lit. I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, clean, bright, stylish

The apartment was very comfortable and in a wonderful neighborhood for walking and eating. Even though there were many people and families on the main Street at the cafes and shops, the apartment which is on a side street was very quiet. Jocelyn was extremely helpful in providing information and went out of her way to help us when we needed it. We ate a few times at a restaurant which was a 3 minute walk from the apartment and bought pastries from the bakery down the street. Both we would go to again! I highly recommend Haven of Peace for a wonderful stay in Paris.

A true Haven!

Our stay at the Haven of Peace apartment provided the perfect ending to a fantastic three weeks of vacationing through Croatia, Italy and France. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully furnished and much more spacious than we had anticipated. It is conveniently located to a street-full of nearby shops, bakeries, and a beautiful park, to say nothing of the Metro stop that opened up Paris to us through our four day stay. Jocelyn, the owner, is extremely charming and friendly and was very helpful in the booking process. She left us well-prepared to make the most of our time and made certain that we had everything that we needed for a great stay and some memorable meals (Le Café Du Commerce). I would highly recommend Haven of Peace to anyone who thinks that it doesn’t get any better than just being in Paris!

I took my girlfriend to Paris for her birthday. When we arrived Jocelyn was waiting for us. She showed us the place. The garden and terrace were absolutely wonderful. It had everything we needed for our five days in Paris. The place was immaculate, cozy, secure and conveniently located near shopping, plenty of eating establishments and markets. On top of all of that, the Eiffel tower was a short walk away. Jocelyn is available by cell phone for any questions or assistance. We loved the location. The neighborhood was pleasant and quiet, we felt like locals after a day. No need to rent a car. When we travel back to Paris we will definitely stay here again. Thank you again Jocelyn.

Magical apartment in Paris: Large, stunning, and quiet

If you have fantasies of living in Paris, then Haven of Peace is the place for you. Tucked away in a quiet arrondissement, you have incredible access to the Metro, but really get to experience day-to-day life in France. The apartment is stunning! The attention to design and detail is impressive--the apartment could be featured in Architectural Digest. Lots of light, a wonderful kitchen and laundry, and plenty of room to spread out. Lots of hot water and great water pressure, too. Jocelyne is absolutely delightful and has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. I can't imagine a nicer apartment in Paris, or a nicer proprietress than Jocelyne. It's the kind of place you really don't want to tell anyone about because you want to keep it for yourself. Haven of Peace is just that--a sanctuary to recharge and relax after exploring one of the world's best cities.

Truly Haven of Peace for Family Life in Paris

Jocelyne made our stay here truly a haven of peace. Fully as described.... Well located home with all modern and new appliances, furniture and decoration. Comfortable 2.5 bathrooms (3 toilets). Super secure building with dual security. Well illuminated. Its a house in the city with backyard lawn. The neighborhood is very friendly and has many great local bakeries (Eric Kayser), restaurants (Le Veraison is our favorite), modern small grocery store a few doors away, pharmacies, the Orange mobile ph. store for your SIM card, fruit stands, Sushi place for carry out, Metro stations nearby. The local park - Square Saint-Lambert - was awesome for our 2.5 years old granddaughter. From there we did Uber everywhere in the city. Everything works as expected. Ms Mardon is very professional and also friendly; always available, but not in your way. She lives in a nearby house. Great Experience. Highly recommended.

Exactly as named … Haven of Peace.

This was our 3rd stay in Haven of Peace, which should be enough to tell you how much we enjoy it. Jocelyne is a very congenial and helpful host and is only a moment away if you should need any assistance. She has provided a modern, clean and spacious accommodation with an open floorplan. A full two bedroom, 2 bath with a conveniently located WC. The 2 bedrooms (one ensuite) are completely separate with a full bed upstairs and two twin beds downstairs. It may be possible to make the twins into a full bed. We’ve never needed it, so did not ask. There is a roller bed downstairs and the living room couch is a full pullout if you don’t mind slightly more close sleeping and living quarters. A minor caution is you have trouble with stairs or are mobility challenged, be aware. However, if you don’t need the lower level (everything is on the ground floor except one bedroom, one bathroom and the washer/dryer combo unit) it would not be a problem. You have a cuisine américaine with full sized refrigerator/freezer. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals from the excellent Marché de Grenelle (Su/Wed) under the raised M6 metro line. You have a Nespresso machine, standard coffee maker, water kettle, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils and more. The private patio and glass enclosed sitting area expand the space and add light as well as a lovely spot for an aperitif, dinner or just relaxing. This is a lovely respite from the energy of Paris. You are located in the 15th Arrondissement, which has become one of my personal favorites, within short walking distance of 3 metro lines, the Champ de Mar with its incomparable Tour Eiffel and much more. If you want to dine upscale without the Michelin stars and the tourists, there is Axuria just a short distance away (15 min walk or two stops on the M8 from Commerce) or Le Beurre Noisette on Rue Vasco de Gama (about 20 min on M8 from Commerce). Axuria is about both food and the experience. Noisette is about the food. In addition there are 3 markets within a short walking distance, a Carrefour City on the same street, a Franprix a short distance down Commerce and a large Monoprix across from the La Motte-Picquet metro station as well as number of boulangeries, patisseries. boucheries, and vin du cave (including more than one of the ubiquitous Nicolas) in the neighborhood. You cannot go wrong.

Per the name, Haven of Peace it is. It has my highest recommendation.

Jocelyne is a kind, friendly and helpful host with a beautiful apartment. It was spacious (remember, this is Paris), with an open floor plan over two levels. The whole apartment was fitted to a very high, modern standard, as nice as we have seen in Paris over many years. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a WC, there are plenty of facilities. There is a pullout bed in the living area that we did not use, but could easily sleep two more people with some level of privacy from the bedrooms. The kitchen was a true “cuisine américaine” with even an ice maker in the freezer, unseen in most Parisian apartments. An efficient and well selected array of cookery with plenty of cooking/eating utensils, glasses, bowls, plates, etc. If I had one complaint, it was not the availability of food preparation knives, but the sharpness. Other than the serrated blade knife, they were generally dull and did not sharpen well with the provided sharpening wand. That said, it is still well above most cooking experiences we have had. The apartment has the typical combo washer/dryer. Still, efficient and easy to use. Also, a very rare French feature, forced-air HVAC … yes, heat AND cold. Additionally, there are separate compressors for 4 areas of the apartment so you can adequately control the heat/cold in any part of the apartment. A true highlight was the glass enclosed sun room that extended the space into a quiet and private courtyard shared only with Jocelyne’s home. It adds light and space and provides a lovely space to relax in. The only challenge is that, when cold out, heat is readily lost through the glass and requires that you use the effective heating system more than you might otherwise. A vent exits into this space. The area is, as Jocelyne put it, “authentique”. Well located with plenty of high end shops and markets, from a Carrefour City down the street to a large and complete Monoprix less than a 10 minute walk. The area is replete with boucheries, boulangeries and cave à vins very close by. Jocelyne has very kindly put together a book of useful information of all kinds. You will find very few tourists this part of the 15th Arr. (a real highlight), but it is a short 15+ minute walk to Tour Eiffel/Champ de Mars and only minutes to Metro stops for lines 6, 8, and 10 that will whisk you to anywhere in Paris you may want to go. Although, if you are familiar with Paris, you may not want to leave the arrondissement. There is plenty here.
