It was easy to access and comfortable to hang out in the living room/dining room. The spices and basic food supplies in the kitchen were very much appreciated. Having rented on Cape Cod, the lack of 1 hour of work to check out was very much appreciated. The landlord was responsive when we had a minor issue. It was easy to drive to touristy places - about 20-30 minutes. The fireplace was nice and the AC was also appreciated. The closet space in the downstairs bedroom was really excellent.
Andrew is a great host and his home had great space for our family. We loved the location close to the city but in a nice neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Property worked well for the family. The host was very responsive to all my questions. The stairs to the 3rd floor bedroom is a little funky but we were able to re arrange who stayed in what bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked. The living/dining area was a great size. Best of all was the location. Easy getting around to all our activities.
I enjoyed my stay in this lovely home. Everything you could need is in the home. It is located conveniently to so much of Seattle but isn't crowded and noisy. There were plenty of beds for my large family and they were very comfortable.
Location OK, communications with the property manager very good and easy. There were six of us on this trip to Seattle and the property worked well for us. I would use again if in Seattle again.
The place was clean and nicely decorated. We felt safe as the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Having a garage to park in was a big plus since it rained almost all the days we were there. I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with spices and cooking utensils, although some of the non-stick pans were pretty scratched up. The bedding was very comfortable . Note that The loft was attached to the master bedroom, so to access the loft you would need to go through the master bedroom. We were glad we stayed here away from the hustle and bustle area of the city. The place is peaceful and is a short drive to the market and eateries. We also appreciate that the Host was very responsive..
The property was very clean and spacious. Happy to be able to utilize a parking space and the garage. We had an issue with the TV in the common area but the host was very responsive and attentive. He came right away and got the TV up and running perfectly. My friends and I truly enjoyed our Seattle visit âŒ
We were a group of 6 older adults who needed a place to base for our visit to Seattle. This location was perfect for us. The rooms were clean, the space was good for our nightly gathering and planning, and we liked having a garage for our rental car. We also enjoyed some Karaoke that was just a block away! FUN TIME!
The property had plenty of space for our family of 5 and was in a great location for our adventures in Seattle. The parking situation was very convenient for a city stay so that was very appreciated. Cleanliness was okay - we have pretty high standards so while there were a few minor things we wish would've been cleaner overall it wasn't a bother. We would stay here again for sure.
Three old guys and myself stayed here to watch basketball games in the first round of the NCAA basketball tournament, and reunite. The bedrooms were big with comfortable beds, and the showers and bathrooms were excellent. The location was wonderful with the Climate Pledge Arena a quick 10 minute care ride away. It was a great neighborhood location with plenty of great restaurants (Chinookâs is a MUST!) and bars and coffeehouses less than five minutes away by car. Easy parking for two vehicles. Andrew, the host, was responsive and courteous. No concerns, thanks for the terrific stay!!
This property is close to most attractions in Seattle. We enjoyed morning walks to the Fisherman's Marina. House is in a great, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely come back!
House was fine, location ok, clean enough (sheets, kitchen yes, rugs less so), some confusion about the beds from the listing as the app for VRBO says there are twin beds in the master and the loft, but in the âmore detailsâ it says blow-up twin mattresses on request- so read carefully if you have a big group that doesnât like to share beds. Owner addressed it quickly and brought over a set of sheets, but wouldnât book again for this group as no one likes a blow-up mattress.
We needed a house to accommodate a party of 12 (8 adults, 4 kids) before we set sail to our cruise. This place was great! Close to grocery stores, the gym, and in close proximity to downtown Seattle and the ports. Highly recommend!
My daughter got married in Seattle. It was wonderful that several family members from out of town could all stay together. Quiet and clean. Well supplied. Very pleasant
We greatly enjoyed staying at this property in Seattle. The property itself is accurately represented in the VRBO listing. We were there during a record heat wave, and we could see that the owner had just installed portable cooler units in the house prior to our arrival. It was still pretty warm for the first couple of days, but again we saw that the owner worked hard to see us through the heat, and the heat wasn't his fault. Our only gripe was a lack of hot water: while the house slept 7 comfortably, six of us had chilly showers. The instruction sheet listed what to do if we ran out of cold water -- something you don't want to see on a VRBO instruction sheet!! But after following the instructions the hot water situation improved somewhat. We enjoyed this property, its location to where we needed to be, and especially its proximity and short walk to local pubs. A good spot overall.
Excellent house in a great location. Had all the amenities we needed for the weekend and plenty of space for our group. Property was pristinely clean and the owner was friendly and communicative, making sure we had an easy check in process. Great experience!
Everything worked out great. The property was a bit tight for 11 but Andrew was very accommodating and it worked out great. Andrew gave several tips for restaurants and places to visit which were all excellent.
Our daughter from Seattle got married and our family came from all over the country. Even though the townhouse wasnât huge, we had plenty of space with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths on 3 different levels. It suited our needs well. There was ample parking, which can be an issue in Seattle. Would definitely recommend this property for large family groups. We had a total of 9 persons from 4 different families. The home was clean.
I've been in Seattle for over 15 years, moving here from Portland (12 years), raised in SF Bay Area. My wife is a West Seattle native. We have two sons (3 & 6) and enjoy playing with them.
Originally we bought this townhouse to rent out because the Seattle rental market is very strong. Upon advice from many friends, we're giving vacation rental a try to see if it will work out. When I used to visit Seattle, I noticed there was a lack of vacation lodging options in Seattle, so making our house available to the vacation travelers seemed like a good idea.
This house was expertly picked because of location, size, and neighborhood amenities. We live 5 minutes away in Magnolia ourselves. What makes this vacation rental unique compared to other vacation rentals in Seattle: 1. Parking: We have a garage and a driveway to use and there is plenty of free street parking. Other neighborhoods have paid parking on the streets and no private garage to protect your vehicle. 2. The master bedroom has a staircase to another room above (loft) with access to the deck where you can view Queen Anne. 3. We bought a commercial grade tankless water heater that is capable of supplying unlimited hot water to all the showers (3) in the house and handle the other appliances that require hot water 4. The house is heated by radiant heating from the hot water system
