L'espace:
Une belle maison de 2 étages sur 4/5 chambres. Parfait pour quelques couples ou un grand groupe d'amis / famille. Il a un accès facile au lac, à la randonnée, aux pistes cyclables et aux casinos. Grand espace de divertissement dans le grand salon ouvert avec un barbecue sur le patio à l'étage. Il y a une salle de cinéma / une chambre supplémentaire au rez-de-chaussée où vous pouvez regarder des films sur notre système de cinéma maison et projecteur (écran de 10 pieds!).
Vous pouvez également profiter du bain à remous dans la cour arrière sous les pins pouvant accueillir 7 personnes.

- La maison est située dans un beau quartier calme rempli de pins près de Meyers. Il est à 10-15 minutes en voiture du lac avec des pistes cyclables et de randonnée juste devant la porte d'entrée.
il y a une grande épicerie appelée Lira, à 5 minutes en voiture.

- Il y a un séjour minimum de 2 nuits pour l'automne / printemps et 3 nuits minimum pour l'été (jour du souvenir à la fête du Travail) et Thanksgiving / Noël / Nouvel An.

Ski Trip

The house was huge! Plenty of room for our group. Jeff was very responsive with any questions we had. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for all the cooking we did.

Last weekend of summer

Me and my family of 12 got to spend our last weekend of summer in this beautiful home. Jeff made took in super to convenient. We got to check in an hour early because we were driving from LA with grandparents and they couldn’t wait to check in. The location was super convenient for all the trails and lakes we had on our agenda, and the Jacuzzi was the best part!

Great spot for our group of friends

My friends and I planned a get-together at Tahoe and this property ended up serving as the perfect location for it. The property was very large, able to easily accommodate the 11 of us, and was very clean and well kept. We made use of the theater room often during our stay, a great feature that isn't found in most properties. The neighborhood was quiet but easily accessible from the main roads, and getting to Stateline was a quick drive. Overall great property and great experience!

Relaxing first trip to Tahoe

We had a wonderful stay for our first time in Tahoe. Jeff was always very communicative whenever we had questions and the place was exactly what we signed up for. The hot tub was the most peaceful experience in the early mornings and evenings. The communal spaces were the perfect gathering areas. The bedrooms were cozy and we loved the subtle themed decor (the German room was my favorite!). The movie room was super fun! I would definitely recommend staying here with a group of 8-10 and if I ever come back with a group that size, we'll stay here again!

Fun location!

Stayed here during the summer with family. Plenty of room for all our guests. The kitchen and bbq were nice to have for cooking. I would recommend this location.

We had a great time here with a group of friends. We do an annual trip and this location was awesome. Definitely recommended and no complaints at all. Some cool hikes right by the vrbo as well.

We had a wonderful time during our stay! The property is well maintained and clean. Kids enjoyed the huge screen in the movie room! Jeff, the owner, is a great communicator to ensure everything went smoothly for us. Love its proximity to Heavenly as well! We will definitely consider coming back in the future.

Great Getaway!

We were a group of 12 (7 adults (1 18YO), 5 kids (16, 11, 9, 9, 7. The place is as advertised and all communication and dealing with Jeff was very easy. He responded to all inquiries in a timely manner. We normally stay on the west shore or north shore, but the south shore had some really nice beaches, hikes and places to eat. Note this is a somewhat "local" neighborhood and if you're looking for a "party" house, I'd recommend elsewhere. But if you need a place to stay near south shore and don't mind a 15 minute drive to the local beaches or into town (but be honest everything around Tahoe takes time) I'd highly recommend this rental.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jeff’s South Lake Tahoe cabin. Great outdoor space and nice open living room with plenty of space for larger groups. We will be back!

My family and friends had a wonderful stay here during our annual trip to Lake Tahoe. Plenty of beds for everyone, and right down the road from Lake Tahoe Golf Course!

Cute cabin

We stayed for 4 nights with a group of 9 adults + 2 kids. The location, neighborhood, etc. were great. Communication with host and check process also excellent. Hot tub was a big hit with the kids. But the house itself was a little disappointing for a few reasons and I probably wouldn't stay again. First, it wasn't all that hot outside (highs in mid-70s to low 80s) but somehow the house really holds heat on the top floor and this made it very uncomfortable indoors in the afternoons. We followed all the instructions about windows open at night and then close in late morning but it was unpleasantly hot so we just made an effort to not be at the house during that time. Second, the bathrooms, particularly the bath/showers, were really gross with mold all around the edges. Third, I thought the listing had described the sofa in the media room as a sofabed, but when we arrived we found it was just a regular sofa and not comfortable enough for sleeping on. We had planned on one single person sleeping there and ended up moving them into the bunk bed room with another family, which was fine but not ideal and I wish we had known that when booking. Fourth, the kitchen was not as well stocked as most rental houses we've used, we had to purchase some baking dishes (muffin pan), the pots are not in great shape, and we only had enough utensils for one meal at a time. Overall, it was a perfectly fine house and we had a great time in Tahoe but not sure I would pick this one again.

Wonderful Spot

The place was as advertised and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the top floor and deck made for a great entertaining space throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Beautiful Get-away

This home is in a beautiful neighborhood that backs up to the forest. The view encapsulates everything beautiful about Lake Tahoe- the tall beautiful trees. The home set up had all the items needed to live in without needing to head to the store for incidentals. The floor plan Was perfect to accommodate multi-family/friends with the open floor plan and separation of restrooms etc. We will book again. The hosts are also amazing with communication.

Perfect cabin for our family

This worked out perfectly for our family, we had a party of 12 with cousins and aunts and uncles. Fully stocked with everything we needed, location was quiet and off the beaten path. We would definitely go back to this location.

Nice, cozy house

We ended up reserving during the snow storm and Jeff was nice enough to keep us informed regarding the road closures and other things on our way up there. Our car was stuck in the snow storm and Jeff was really helpful in asking his neighbors to help us. His neighbors offered to take us to get groceries and he kept us posted throughout our short stay. House is warm, cozy and we were able to enjoy our family time.

Really is perfect for a family gathering/getaway!

I complete quite a bit of research before deciding on a place to rent for a family or friend's gathering and this place was the perfect home for us for 4 days. There were 3 families and my 15 month old is a late walker so the open space upstairs was perfect for him to explore and get in more safe practice because there was even a baby gate available to help make this happen. The home was clean so we didn't have to worry about him being on the floor all day. We also maintained the home the best we could from what equipment was available. The location was great for us since we didn't plan on going anywhere but we did make a run to the store for more supplies and Raley's is about 15 minutes away. We loved how secluded the home was and nearby was a dead-end street that the kids and adults were able to sled safely. Its a really good slope that flattens out at the end so bring your sleds! The kitchen is definitely well equipped compared previous homes I've rented. There were even kids plates/bowls and shot glasses! We made family meals throughout our stay and was glad we brought our huge stock pot. I'm not sure if it's the amount of cooking we did or if the stove emits a lot of heat. Even the dial for the range was hot to the touch. It was more of a concern than an issue. We just made sure none of the kids came close to it. The bath amenities were a nice touch and the hot tub was a hit after playing in the snow all day. The bathrooms have additional towel racks which is a huge plus that many homes and even hotels overlook. The kids played in the pile of snow that was on the balcony and also in the backyard right next to the hot tub. There were a few things I needed to contact Jeff about while there but he was very helpful, accommodating and literally responds within the hour at most. I would recommend this home and return again should we have another trip of 12 people. Thank you for your hospitality Jeff and Merry Christmas!

Jeff was very prompt with responding to any questions, he checked in throughout the weekend to ensure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay, while keeping us updated on conditions in the area. The property was as listed, clean and spacious. Our group enjoyed the relative location to South Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas.

Great organization and communication

We love how all the drawers and cabinets are labelled. The welcome document was also very thorough and helpful. Also loved how Jeff gave a list of their favorite SLT activities via a Yelp List. It was really helpful and we even did a few of the local hikes he recommended. Will definitely bookmark this house for our future summer adventures.

Cozy house

We had a nice family vacation in this house. Plenty of rooms with a huge family room and outf=door pool where we all relaxed after full days of activities in lake Tahoe. Owner communicated everything before and during our stay. We had a wonderful vacation and made a lot memories. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Beautiful and clean Tahoe paradise. Highly recommended!

The property was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a large family! It was very clean and came already stocked with essentials. The owner was extremely responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed as well as suggestions on activities, stores, restaurants, and much more. The kids said this was their best trip ever!

We are Jeff & Danielle from San Francisco. Jeff is originally from Ohio and Danielle Sonoma County. We met and fell in love in San Francisco and bought our Tahoe home a few years ago as a place to get away with friends during the winter.

We love hiking, biking, skiing and taking the boats out on the lake. When not playing outside, Jeff can be found in the Bay Area, working as a Product Design Engineer. Danielle works as a Design Researcher at Square.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Jeff is originally from Ohio but moved to the bay area in 2006 and immediately fell in love with Tahoe as his adventure getaway. Danielle grew up going to Tahoe in the winter. We bought the house as a place to spend time with family and friends. We use the house full time in the winter but rent it out the rest of the year. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
