'Beachy Keen': Condo au rez-de-chaussée du Sea Gypsy. À quelques pas de la plage

Unité 122, que nous appelons "Beachy Keen," est un condo au premier étage qui a la touche personnelle de son propriétaire, et les avantages d'être à quelques pas du bord de la plage.

Ce condo a subi un relooking complet en Janvier à 2015. Il dispose désormais d'un lit king dans la chambre à l'arrière, et un espace de vie plus ouvert qui a un él��gant canap�� qui se transforme en un lit queen-size. Cela ne se sent pas comme une location de vacances. Il se sent comme à la maison.

Une cuisine complète offre tous les ingrédients pour un peu de cuisine de la maison sérieuse. Un système d'entrée sans clé empêche lock-out. Wi-fi est gratuit et protégé par un mot de passe.

Il ya un banc juste devant vos portes en bord de mer, et un petit escalier droit à du sable.

Spectacular view of the ocean with beach access! Sliding door opens onto walkway just above the beach. Bench right outside the room. Kitchen well equipped for vacation cooking. We loved this place!

Literally steps from the beach!

The only reason this was given 3 stars is because upon arrival, the condo was not cleaned properly. The floors were filthy and full of sand and the bed was not made. We were given sheets by the housekeeper, but because of a language barrier, we were unsure if he was to put them on, or us. It seemed we were to do that. We swept the entire condo, and the floors were so dirty, they left our socks black. The gal in the office was very nice to bring us a mop and some floor cleaner, but we did that work as well. The gal said she would talk to the manager to see what they could do for us, but we never heard back. Other than that nightmare, the stay was very pleasant. Everything we needed to cook with was there. The ocean view was wonderful and it was so nice to be able to walk out the back door and walk a very short distance to the stairs to be quickly on the beach! Beautiful location! If the place had been cleaned properly, we would definitely book another stay. Very unfortunate.

A great solo escape

This little space is so perfect for a beach getaway! I love the decor and the creature comforts! It truly is such a great place. So close to walk out to the beach and enjoy the features Lincoln city has to offer. I will be back!!

Comfy unit

Nice midsize lodging, slightly outdated BUT really comfy. Extra blankets were really nice. Location was great for close to town with beautiful views. The salt water pool was a very clean area with lots of space to store your things. We enjoyed the dry sauna which felt clean, comfy and SAFE. While staying on the bottom level we felt like we had plenty of privacy while the curtains closed and enjoyed the bench right outside our room. Can’t wait to stay during the summer so we can utilize the BBQ area located next to the pool😃

Almost gave it a 5 star but the living area heater wouldn't go on. Great location and ocean view! Having 2 bathrooms also great and we appreciated the specific instructions on how to operate things.

Just lovely!

Hubs and I wanted to get away and this was perfect! Nice little short walk to the beach, cute little kitchen (with utensils and cookware!) and a fancy little restaurant near by! We were able to walk to the shops and the view was amazing. We had a great time!

Room 122

Please know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and your hospitality. There were a couple items about the room that need attention. The living room heater does not work, although we didn't really need it. The front bedroom bath sink does not drain well. The sliding door drapery needs two or three curtain hooks that are missing, letting the drape sag. We noticed that our socks would get pretty dirty from the floor, but I suppose that is just part of being at the beach! Please don't take offense, we loved our stay and will probably return if our lives allow. Sincerely, Sandy and Ron Bortz

Location location location the Sea Gypsy is a fantastic spot to enjoy the beach and Lincoln City. The unit 122 Beachy Keen is a bit outdated and the furnishings are well lived in however it had everything you needed to cook meals and the ground floor made it very handy to just step outside and rightdown to the beach! I would stay at the Sea Gypsy again!!

For the 3 of us there was just enough room. Looked right out on the beach with plenty of roaming area. Stocked with what we needed. I would stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was great, and the location was even better. Traveling with a toddler, being ground level was so nice and we loved the easy access to the beach. The condo had all the amenities we needed, and the staff were just a text away if we needed anything or had questions. We definitely plan to return!

Disappointed

I stay here often and usually enjoy it, however this last time was more than disappointing. When I checked in, my room was still dirty. There was old pizza crust behind the TV, dirty glasses in the cupboard with lipstick still on them, dried pizza sauce on the dresser and something smeared on the wall. The curtain to the back door was also broken and had mildew all over it. The sliding glass door track also had mildew on it which could have been easily wiped off during cleaning. I would never expect perfection but given the new late check in time to allot for cleaning, I definitely expected better than this. There was also what sounded like construction happening next door. Again, I realize these things happen sometimes but does it really need to start around 7:30/8 am on a holiday weekend?!
