Loved it

We only stayed a few nights but wished we could have stayed longer! Great kitchen lots of fans and air flow. Bbq and seating by the pool with amazing views made for great dinners outside. Thanks!

Also LOVED the fact they had lights on, shutters open and towels so nicely on our beds waiting for us when we arrived later at night. We also LOVED it was sooo quiet in the back bedroom because it only backs onto a pathway/ trees so the street noise is more distant.

Maui family vacation

We had such a lovely time staying at this condo! The sunset views from the grounds and balcony were wonderful. Great communication. Very family friendly property. I wish we knew there was a travel crib in the closet because we checked one on the flight but that’s just nice to know for the future. Would be great to have more sets of beach / pool towels (maybe I could have asked for them?) very easy drive to many beaches- Napili was our favorite! Would 10/10 stay there again with my family!

This is a beautiful property. The view from the lanai was incredible at ever time of day. The pool was never too busy and turtles can be seen regularly in the rocky shores. We drove to all of our adventures but there are many nice beaches only minutes away. Very close to Slaughterhouse Beach, DT Flemming Beach, Dragons Teeth and Honolua Bay for snorkeling. The condo itself was clean and fit our needs. The pictures are accurate. Highly recommend.

Great ocean view but not beach front. Nice and big with an extra blow up mattress. Loved using the beach chairs and umbrella. No Marco Polo in the pool and the the fridge was really dirty with bloody meat dripped. Not enough blankets or towels. We got locked out, the door lock battery died.

Whales breaching not too far from shoreline, and this trip we saw an amazing amount of giant sea turtles on the rocky shoreline below! We counted 9 on the rocks and many more in the water! I will always choose to stay here! Walkable to Napili sand beach. Beautiful grassy lawn surrounded the pool and spa. Condo is great for a couple or a group.

We were there 4 nights and would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice place to stay. Just a couple things to know, upstairs room was warm even with the fans. We could not sleep without them and they were loud but we were so tired from our daily activities we were able to sleep. The beds were ok, not the most comfortable but not bad. Overall the place was great and we would definitely come back.

Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Polynesian Shores; we were looking for a quiet get away to recoup from busy work lives and got just that. The views are amazing, from your lanai you can watch whales in the distance. The kids loved the pool and being able to see the turtles everyday on the shoreline. The parents enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the lanai each day. We loved this property as it is not nearly as busy as the bigger hotels/condos - never an issue finding a chair at the pool. There is no true beach but instead little pockets of sand amongst the rocks; the upside is that the turtles come to visit almost daily to eat from the rocks.

(Almost) perfect!

This was an absolutely lovely experience, especially after the kind of "meh" rental experience we had immediately preceding this on Oahu. We were able to get early check in for free, and get late check out for a fee. But when I say late check out, I mean "leave any time you like, just don't stay overnight again". We had to leave for the airport at 5pm and we're able to leave straight from the property. If you have a rental car, it's a very short drive to anything you might want in Lahaina, but there isn't a lot within comfortable walking distance.Property itself was clean, new and beautiful to look at, easily able to accommodate our party. One of the beds is in an open area, as is the pull out couch, and you can hear everything, so make sure both parties are going to bed at the same time! The other small downside is that (as is pretty common in Hawai'i) there's no central air. This was only a problem intermittently when it was super hot, but the overhead and oscillating fans were fine most of the time. The last annoying thing was paying for laundry, as there's a minimum that you have to put on the card whether you use it or not. Overall, however, this is a strong recommend! Would stay here again!

Condo was okay

Condo has great ocean view. It also faces the pool so we were able to watch our older kids from the balcony & living room. Condo is also located in a convenient area. This place is not clean. Condo does not have AC but there are several dusty fans in the closet that you can use. There is a notice inside the condo explaining that there may be red sand from nearby construction. The red sand ended up everywhere, staining our clothing and shoes (still cannot wash it out despite many attempts). We couldn't close the windows to keep out the sand because there is no AC. We were constantly cleaning the floors, counters, equipment, our hands & feet. They really should add this warning in the booking description, so people know ahead of time.

Aloha Tracy, We appreciate your review, especially since you were here during the worst fire in history. Yes, they are doing construction and red dirt is everywhere. We notified you on many corospondences and also offer to have maids come in and clean the areas you mentioned. Unfortunately with the power being out during the fire as well as cell service this was unable to happen as planned. We have wonderful cleaning reviews normally and apologize for your experience.
