Excellente maison de plain-pied, sur un terrain magnifique surplombant les montagnes Bradshaw et Thumb Butte et au-delà. Vous allez adorer cette maison à seulement quelques minutes du centre-ville de Prescott, niché sur 2. 61 acres 2154 pieds carrés, salon confortable, patio privé avec couverture de patio électrique, cuisine entièrement approvisionnée, plan d'étage clair et lumineux, entrée de niveau avec large allée.

Je m'occupe des amoureux de la nature, des ornithologues amateurs et de ceux qui veulent se détendre et se détendre lorsqu'ils ne sont pas en train d'explorer. Parfait pour les vététistes, les randonneurs et ceux qui aiment pêcher! Près du lac Lynx, du lac Watson et du lac Goldwater.

Le centre-ville est à seulement 5 miles, le shopping est partout, et pourtant vous conduisez dans les domaines de Mountain View et vous évadez tout. Ne manquez pas tous les festivals!

Generally meets expectations.

Generally the stay was good. However, here the areas of concern: 1. It snowed on our way in, and we couldn’t stay for our first night because of road conditions. When we arrived the next morning neither the subdivision nor the driveway were cleared of snow. The walkway to the house remained snow covered and icy throughout our stay. No snow shovel or ice melt was provided. 2. Too much of the family’s personal stuff was laying out and in drawers for us to see. 3. Some deck boards are borderline unsafe with rotting boards recently stained.

Good location!

The home was spacious, comfortable and clean! It had most everything we needed, although the kitchen was not stocked very well - we had to buy our own dishwasher soap. The communication with the host was not very consistent either. Overall, it was a great place for my friends and I to stay for the value.

Hearing the hoots under the halo of the moon

This property is in a perfectly centralized location to visiting Prescott, the many scenic lakes, and Sedona. It is spacious, comfortable and has a view that makes it hard to leave. Thank you to Chet and Jennifer for sharing your piece of paradise with us....and for accommodating the retrieval of our forgotten toiletry bag. Also received poetic inspiration while on their patio under the full moon. Hence, hearing the hoots under the halo of the moon.

Quiet and Relaxing

Enjoyed sitting under the stars on the deck. Beautiful property and easy to find during the daylight hours. Quiet and relaxing, I could sleep in and enjoy my tea on the deck. A clean home with comfortable beds and family area. Close to shopping and Whiskey Row fun!

Stunning views

I had a reunion with friends and this was the perfect, quiet spot to relax. We enjoyed Watson Lake, Montezuma's Well, Beaver Creek, downtown Prescott, and just sitting on the deck. The photos don't capture how epic the views are!

Privacy and peaceful views

Perched high on a hillside above Prescott Valley in a quiet neighborhood yet the inside was wonderfully European in flair. The eat-in kitchen has a granite top table from which we enjoyed our meals with terrific early morning or sunset views. My daughters loved nature watching from the deck with snacks, and the space was set up so well for bringing out our telescope to check out Jupiter and Saturn. The living room was very comfortable and everyone had their favorite spots for relaxing. My older daughter also enjoyed going out at night with the flashlight to see some nocturnal critters as well. My younger daughter enjoyed a bubble bath and said the bathtub made her feel like a fancy rich woman. Everything we wanted to do was just minutes away, so the location was ideal.

Peaceful getaway. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home in the hills on the edge of Prescott. Great neighborhood. Plenty of space and privacy. My friends and I had a writers retreat, and we could not have been more comfortable. Owners were polite and responsive. Would definitely book again.

Great house with an incredible view

Stayed here with my wife, 3.5 yr old son, and our 8 month old baby. The house is perfect for little kids. Single story home, some carpet areas, and plenty of open area for them to play. The house was clean, well stocked with everything you need, and overall just a very nice property. Best of all is the deck and view. Can’t beat it. This place is a must-stay in Prescott. We will definitely stay again.

Clean and comfortable!

Perfect location for exploring Prescott and other destinations such as Sedona and Jerome. Clean and comfortable house, perfect for a family. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful views. Have stayed there twice now and will definitely return.

We love the location in the hills around Prescott Valley. So close to everything but remote enough to feel alone! Jennifer was a joy to deal with. We unfortunately had to leave early for a family emergency and she worked with us and her communication was very helpful. Would rent again without hesitation!! Thanks again Jen

Relax

If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy the view, this is perfect, with the bonus of being close to downtown Prescott. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Surprisingly, not as much wildlife as we would have hoped for, but that wasn't the house's fault. Perfect in every other way. Definitely recommend.

wonderful deck

The part my friends and I enjoyed most was the deck, which was large, covered, and offered a great view of the surrounding area. It is also great for viewing stars at night as it is relatively dark in the area. The house sits high in the foothills, and the property drops away from the deck. The house was comfortable and well equipped. I was entranced by the bicycles decorating the master bathroom. The shower was fine and I wish I had tried the tub. Note: The water in the master bathroom has to run a very long time before it gets hot. The owner explained that this is due to the distance from the hot water heater. My friends said this was not a problem in the other bath.

Update listing

The location was great. The view was great. Not all items were up to date or shared in the listing. The renters were particular about what they wanted, but didn’t deliver on their end. There was a two inch animal puke on the floor. They blamed us for it, when it was there when we arrived. We didn’t have any pets. Closet door had a crack in the mirror from side to side. Fireplace didn’t work note said due to prior tenant abuse. They also limit ac to 75 degrees. The dish washer wasn’t empty. You are expected to load it and start it before you leave. Closets had clothes No drawers available in the dresser. The family room kitchen and living room were open and clean. Plenty of space to hang out. The back patio has a great view and a table with plenty of seating. The master bath is a nice size, the paint is bright, but the bathroom is great.

Cool weekend

This was a very good layout for the home. Had some wonderful views of the hills in living room and at table with meals. The deck was very large and facing one way in evening could see lights from town and turn around and sit back the other way....a million stars....beautiful . I was disappointed I didn’t see a deer at the trough but maybe it was because I didn’t get up early enough and they had already had breakfast 😂. Very clean home. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Maybe one thing, a box of rags left in laundry room. I had to wipe down the outdoor table..outdoors plus Arizona equals dust. I just was not going to use the kitchen cloth. Had a wonderful time and was very comfortable Thank you

Another great stay! I'd highly recommend this renting this property

I stayed two times at this beautiful home on Prescott, AZ. The first time was in Oct 2018 and the second was Dec 2018 during Christmas, so this is a review for both stays. We loved the house and the peacefully quiet area. My daughter is attending a school in nearby Spring Valley so Prescott is very close by. In addition to the house being immaculately clean and in order, the location was very close to Prescott and a little over an hour's drive to Sedona. Lynx Lake is about a 10 minute drive for hiking and in the spring and summer and early fall canoe and kayak rentals and fishing. Finally, during our October stay we road horses at the Foot Hills Ranch in nearby Mayer which was a great experience with tremendous wildlife. We look forward to booking our next stay!

Great Holiday getaway/Beautiful setting

Thank you for having this great home to share with us for the Thanksgiving holiday. The best was the fully stocked, and I mean fully stocked kitchen to prepare our dinner for 11 us that came together from different regions of the country. There wasn't a bowl, slow cooker, pot/pan that we needed that wasn't in one of the cabinets. The house was neat and clean, and comfortable to settle into. You couldn't ask for better views from the deck, the beautiful area for outdoor activities (the Dells for hiking )within a short drive, and the fun walking thru the quaint downtown shops and galleries.

After falling in love with all that Arizona had to offer, we relocated from NY in 2000. We chose Ahwatukee, a suburb of Phoenix, for our active lifestyle and the central location that allowed us to enjoy leisurely living, when we are not working. We could not beat proximity to hiking, biking, shopping, eating, you name it! From there, we traveled the state and found we loved Prescott as much or more as we loved Ahwatukee. Prescott offers a cooler climate during the summer months and access to moderate seasons that allow us to remain active.

We enjoy traveling and finding hidden gems and great eats. Though we travel all over the world, we find that there is no place like home and all of the natural wonders of Arizona! In fact, the house has many items from a few of our many exploring adventures, or you may notice my amateur attempts to oil paint some of the locations.

We purchased this house for the views, location, and weather! There are endless views, ample space with 2.61 acres, proximity to shopping and dining, and a wonderful rural feel neighborhood with wonderful and active neighbors.
