Cozy cabin with bunkhouse! Bunkhouse is great for kids, 4 twin beds, big screen TV with side room with fridge and microwave. Excellent Wifi in main house and cabin. Spacious deck with propane fire pit and grill. Upstairs balcony has propane fire pit as well. Wake up to deer wandering on the property while you enjoy your coffee on the balcony. We are 15 minutes to Costco and Trader Joe's and only 20-25 minutes to downtown Prescott!! Also, Lynx Lake is a fun place and only 10 minutes from us! At 6800 ft elevation, we are 8-10 degrees cooler than downtown Prescott. Please note: kitchen is very well stocked with essentials you may need like spices, oils, vinegars, etc. All our guests always mention they are appreciative for the well stocked kitchen! Please note: parties are not allowed at our property.
Our stay here coincided with a large snow storm. It was incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our time in this cozy cabin. The host was great at communicating with us and answering questions during our stay. We would definitely stay again if our travels bring us back this way.
We had a great time at this cabin. Only downside was the floor heating did not emit enough heating to keep us warm after snowing up at the cabin. We called the owners and they were great at helping us find some other heat sources in the house and responded promptly and even checked on us the next morning. Very cute property and family friendly cabin. I would recommend staying here.
Beautiful home with plenty of space for the whole family. Lots of dishes, spices, towels, and bedding to accommodate. The guest house is a great space to let the teens be teens while the adults enjoy the main cabin. Fantastic outdoor options and space to bring everyone back together in as well.
Would definitely come back!
Iâm a realtor. I have stayed in several vacation rental homes and have some myself. However, these owners charged us for rodents as well as damaging mini blinds that were already damaged when we arrived. Do not stay at this place.
Overall our stay was ok. The property was cute and Rachael was prompt and helpful in communication. The home/bunkhouse did have plenty of beds but the layout of the cabin was kind of funky and cramped. Our family of 6 couldnât be in the living area/kitchen at the same time without rubbing elbows. The property was slightly difficult to find, as there is no cell service once you get off the main highway. Wifi at the property was sufficient. Not sure our family would stay here again, but thatâs more of a personal preference given the size of the property, it only having one bathroom and lack of dishwasher but all these things were known beforehand and may not be an issue for a smaller family.
This was our second time staying at this property and once again it did not disappoint. We enjoyed playing card games, watching movies, playing in the snow, and hiking around the lake nearby. The owners communicated with us beforehand about the road conditions and also worked with us to resolve some property damage that occurred during our stay. We will definitely try to stay here again.
Our group enjoyed the cabin and forest in this cool and quiet part of the Walker community. Plenty of spaces for group or private retreat, the highlight being comfortable decks and a range of outdoor spaces. Appreciated the kitchen stocked with basics and more, including sundries and spices. Cabin interior is basic, but no problem as outdoors was where we spent our waking hours. Single bathroom was no big issue. Bunk beds great for kids, but lower bunks fine for adults. Stairs and steps could be challenging for less mobile.
We really enjoyed our stay celebrating Mom's 75th birthday. Sadly it rained the majority of our time there so we didn't get to enjoy all the outdoor space but the inside was cozy and just right for the four of us to play games and make good food. Would be great for families with kids to run around outdoors if the weather is nice. We made great family memories!
My husband, in-laws and kids loved staying in this home. As soon as you walk in the cabin you can tell that a lot of thought was out into the cute Americana decor and personal touches. The house has basically every kitchen appliance you could need! We love to cook so this was perfect. The bunk house was super cute and the kids loved it. There are multiple seating areas, fire pits (wood and gas), a grill, a small enclosed soccer field and a swing attached to two of the trees a bit down the hill. This place is so beautiful. Driving through the forest to the home there is a noticeable drop in temperature which was perfect for a getaway in July. The nights were cool and I even had to wear a sweater in the early morning which is a nice change from Surprise, AZ. We saw deer around the property every day!!! We definitely recommend staying here and hope to come again.
Sleeps 11 comfortably. Bunk house is awesome, especially with older kids who can have their own space. Lots of cool outdoor spaces. Tons of deer around and friendly. All the kitchen and cooking amenities you could want. When you arrive, be prepared for the voice from the sky that will say "Welcome to the Cabin." They greet you through the internet camera and tell you the entry code. We had one question we called about and they promptly responded. Very helpful. Loved our stay. Highly recommend.
The cabin is perfect. Very quiet area and the mini soccer field was perfect for the team. Very clean and comfortable. The stocked cabinets were plus. Property manager is quick to communicate and very helpful.
