L'intérieur offre une vue panoramique à couper le souffle à long terme et dispose de portes-fenêtres menant au pont enveloppant. La grande salle comprend deux canapés-lits en cuir, une cheminée à bois, une télévision par satellite de 50 pouces, une connexion Wi-Fi et une table de baby-foot, pour une escapade relaxante! Une cuisine entièrement équipée facilite la préparation des repas. Vous ne voulez pas rester à l'intérieur? Faire griller un steak sur le gril à charbon sur le pont tout en profitant de la vue sur la montagne.

La chambre principale comprend un lit queen confortable et une télévision par satellite. Une salle de bain est située au niveau principal qui a une baignoire et une douche. À l'étage supérieur, se trouve une autre chambre avec lit queen, télévision par satellite et salle de bain complète avec douche indépendante.

Vous n’aurez certainement pas besoin de quitter Above It All pour passer de merveilleuses vacances, mais vous serez logés à proximité du Grayson Highlands State Park, du célèbre restaurant River House et de la New River pour une journée de pêche ou de canoë.

Million dollar view

We had a lovely time. The view and the wood fireplace made our stay. The property could use a few updates but we weren’t there for modernization. Very secluded so we took everything we needed.

Fabulous views

Had a great vacation at “Above it all”. Paperwork and communication was great and receiving entry code by text was extremely convenient. Cabin was clean, and despite the few dead bugs, not much of an issue. Fixtures and furniture like stepping into the 80’s but everything worked. Upstairs shower could use a new shower head. The shower is very small and the showerhead squirts water in every direction making it very hard to shampoo and rinse your hair. Best part of this cabin was the view, and what a view it is, 10/10!

Beautiful and comfy

Property was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. View from the deck was great! Location was perfect for the hiking vacation we had in mind and there were some great local restaurants and shops. Not a crowded area but a lot of options for things to see/do.

Beautiful views! Tons of lady bugs all over inside though. Beware if you hate that. Probably needs to be treated for them. We'd stay here again!

Our stay was perfect, this awesome place is in the middle of nowhere ( really it’s not far) but it was so quiet and peaceful, it sits high in a hill and the view was perfect! The home itself was all you could ask for without breaking the bank - I mean if stay here again easily and may just do that, that’s how much I liked it. perfect sums it all up , smh Icom

Wonderful property!

The cabin was tucked in the mountains with a beautiful morning and sunset view of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook and enjoy a cup of coffee. The facility was very clean. Communication with the property manager was above and beyond what I anticipated.

nice layout . view is not exactly like in listing due to growing trees. fair amount of dead bugs on windowsills and corners. critter in the wall scratching around. gutter above back door needs attention to not have waterfall when it rains. very very quiet.

Really "Above it all"

This cabin high up in the NC mountains has an unbelievable view from the wrap-around deck. The cabin was well-equipped, and comfortable. The staff offered a very easy check-in process.

Nice view, cabin needs updating

View was nice but cabin needs a facelift and updating. Lots of potential, but needs TLC and furnishing updates as everything appears to be original and from the 1980’s. Upstairs shower was too tiny for use, even for a small person. Shower heads in both bathrooms were terrible, more washcloths should be supplied, as well as a new mattress for upstairs. It was very uncomfortable. If the total price per night was the base $136 as advertised we would have been more understanding, but after all fees we paid $224 per night which is greatly overpriced. Would not stay again for this price.

We stayed at this location for the Wayne Henderson Guitar Festival, just up in Virginia. We did have a change of property due to a maintenance issue with the original booking, but the property management folks were very helpful and provided this (actually an upgrade for the same cost). The place was very clean - important for grandchildren! Would definitely use again, thx.

Beautiful getaway in the mountains

Views were exceptional (not on the sunset side and sunrise a little off to the side but I spent hours out there), home was well equipped, internet was fast. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need and then some. Air fryer? Check. Griddle? Check. No spices, definitely bring those though. My dad said the plumbing in the downstairs wasn't acting right, but the water pressure upstairs was THE BEST. Small shower as others have stated but it got the job done and we were fine. Office staff we spoke with on check in and out were just genuinely such nice people. So pleasant!Beautiful stay:)

Beautiful views and great location

The views are spectacular! The location is great for West Jefferson and Grayson Highlands State Park. The cabin was clean and had everything you need as far as kitchen accessories. We loved the natural wood burning fire place and had a fire each night. The only two negatives were the stink bug infestation (I realize they are part of nature and difficult to control, but still very annoying) and the upstairs shower is really too small to use, since there was only two of us we used the downstairs shower but preferred the upstairs bedroom. Overall it was a nice cabin and stay.

Nice cabin with beautiful view, but room for improvement

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was very nice, clean, and view was great but overall in need of a little TLC. WiFi worked well. Spacious cabin and layed out well, especially for entertaining with large, open 1st floor and wrap around deck. . Staff were helpfull and friendly. We were unable to locate the cabin with directions provided and gps unable to help even when we did have service. Had to call the after hours number for directions and lady was pleasant. Cons:Little things that add up to be annoying... the middle of nowhere! Driving anywhere seems to take forever and finding the cabin was difficult. It’s up a long, gravel road. Bed wasn’t made? Was nearly dark when we 1st arrived and sheets/pillow cases were folded at end of bed for us to make ourselves. We found that strange. There were also multiple light bulbs out, both inside and out, which made it harder to navigate from the driveway to front door. We changed several of them ourselves with extra bulbs we found in a cabinet. On top of that, a wasp was building a nest at the front door overhang. The lawn needed trimmed up and I wish there were better furnishings on the deck. It’s too nice to have cheap plastic Adirondack chairs out there. Lastly, updating the linens and pillows would be nice. The sheets and pillow cases were mismatched and the pillows were cheap, flat, Wal-mart brand. We still rested and well and appreciated that there were plenty of bath towels. Overall, we were happy during our stay.
