Our stay was very pleasant, relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the location and all of the fun things to do close by, like the river, hiking on Mount Jefferson and all of the wonderful ice cream shops and restaurants.

Fabulous place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and secluded but close to town and restaurants. Also close to the beach on the river which we really enjoyed. The home is beautifully decorated and well equipped with all the amenities of home. Kathy and Jim were so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing

Wonderful location, felt like we were remote with the convenience of town, restaurants and shops just a few miles away. The host thought and anticipated our every need. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations, definitely will be back for another visit in the future!

Great cookies

The apartment was superb in all ways. Talking to the host was very informative about what to visit and the best places to eat. I would recommend anyone wanting a quite place to relax.

Heaven on earth

This was one off if not the best place we’ve stayed and we’ve been going to west Jefferson for over 25 years. She has thought of everything. If you forgot it, she has it there for you. Thank you for letting us stay.

5 stars just isn't enough!

This BNB is an absolute must!!!. It's a great location and has beautiful views. Kathy and Jim our hosts were amazing, they were warm, caring and so helpful. They have also thought of everything... and I mean absolutely everything. We've never stayed anywhere that was so welcoming, comfortable and stocked. We went to relax and visit family and came home with wonderful new friendships. Try it out, you'll love it!!!.

Super clean and comfortable with lots of extras!

Jim and Kathy were excellent hosts, providing thorough communication throughout. The house was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and I especially enjoyed the oversized smart TV. The owners furnished the space with the guest experience in mind, with great attention to all the details. You should not hesitate to make your reservation, the pictures provided are exactly what you will see and more! We will definitely vacation here again in the future.

Totally Enjoyable Stay

Two things stand out: 1) The owners clearly have the gift of hospitality and do everything they can to make your visit relaxing and enjoyable. They have thought of everything that you might possibly need in their stocking of the rental! 2) It's a very good bargain. We've stayed all over western North Carolina and this is one of the best deals ever. We are used to staying more in the western part of Ashe County so we got to explore more of the New River/Glendale Springs area. It's a nice area. A quiet river walk down by Elk Shoals on the New River makes for a very serene and peaceful commune in God's creation. And-- you're very close to the shops and restaurants of West Jefferson. Would definitely consider going back!
