Welcome to Cabin Fever! This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is located just 7 minutes from West Jefferson, 30 minutes from Boone, and just 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

The welcoming oversized deck boasts a large woodburning fireplace perfect for relaxing outside on a cool Carolina Mountain evening. There’s plenty of seating so curl up with a glass of wine or roast marshmallows for making s’mores.

Inside, the cozy living room offers new leather furniture featuring electric recliners, a gas fireplace, and a large flat screen TV for watching your favorite show or movie. The open concept living, kitchen and dining area is perfect for families.

Cook your favorite meal in the delightful kitchen which provides granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher for quick clean-up, and items needed to cook a family meal. There’s seating at the kitchen island for five and the dining table offers seating for four.

The master ensuite provides privacy away from the other two bedrooms and features a comfy king size bed, a flatscreen TV for watching a movie in bed and the bath offers a step-in shower.

The additional two bedrooms are on the other side of the home. The hall bath with step-in shower is just off the bedrooms. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with flat screen TV. The third bedroom offers another double bed for additional sleeping space.

WiFi is provided for those that need to stay in touch with work or for planning those day trips in our surrounding area.

Pets up to 25lbs are welcomed with a non-refundable pet fee.

Quiet and peaceful

Our stay was nice and relaxing. Kitchen was stocked full with pots and pans and dishes for use which was great for staying in and cooking. The outdoor fireplace was very enjoyable as well. Great place to stay!

Winter Vacation

Very nice cabin with a fully stocked kitchen and 3 smart TVs. It’s about 45 minute drive to tubing and skiing. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

We loved the property and had an amazing time. Our Thanksgiving day was really special because we spent it in this beautiful house. The outdoor fireplace was great to sit around on a cool November night.

GREAT TIME

We had a great time this weekend. Home was beautifully decorated and had everything you would possibly need to stay a month! Very clean...Loved the location. Enjoyed watching the deer eat the apples that fell off the apple tree in back yard! Will definitely stay again!!!

Serene & Relaxing

Beautiful views, deer and bunnies all around. Very neat, clean and comfortable beds, split bedroom floorplan from Primary bedroom. Just 15 minutes to dowtown West Jefferson. There were bees swarming next to steps for the deck area. Property Management resolved the problem within a 1/2 hour of calling them on a weekend! Our stay was great & peaceful & tranquil!

On our first stay it was the same. This time we reported it to the office. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean but the furniture, floors, corners and molding were dusty and you could tell it had not been recently cleaned. Besides the dust we liked our stay! We had perfect weather!

Kitchen was nicely equipped and great room for food storage.CON's: Dining room subfloor is failing and sinking in several locations. Tankless / On-demand water heater is located in laundry room and can be heard throughout the house. Construction has just begun on adjacent property (7:00AM starts) and is expected to go on through the summer.

The property itself was great. Quiet, convenient to stores and nearby cities. Waited an hour and a half before we could get into the house, it was still being cleaned. Once we entered, everything seemed clean but there were little spiders in all the corners and under the tables and even under the island. (I understand these are common in NC at this time of year but still not fun to all of a sudden find a spider and web when you least expect it.) Part of the problem might be that the vacuum cleaner does not have a hose attachment so there was no way to suck them up. There was only one way to get them and that was to kill them by hand. Also,there is no fan in the master bathroom so the paint has started peeling in a few places from the moisture.

Unexpected Cold

We enjoyed this well appointed, cute little cabin, spending several cozy nights in front of the propane fire. Unfortunately, the record cold weather forced us to cut our visit short. Mother Nature caused a problem with the water pipes. We will return when its not so cold.
