My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage in Ephraim very much! The location was excellent- close to all the restaurants, boat tours, and Peninsula State Park but secluded enough to have a very peaceful stay! We especially enjoyed going on a boat tour and visiting the nearby state park during our visit. Everything we needed was available in the cabin and the check-in and check-out went very smoothly! I would definitely recommend staying here!

The cottage is the perfect central location in Door County. Plus we enjoyed walking right out the door and into Peninsula State Park! The cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved how secluded and quiet the cabin was. We live 3.5 hours away so to have something that felt like home for the weekend was very nice. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Great location

Great location! Walking distance to trails and the observation tower at Peninsula State Park. Appreciated the presence of a fire pit and placement such that it was private from the other cottages. Property was as pictured and clean. Very simple check-in and check-out process. We ended up buying a cookie sheet and would have appreciated a cheese grater and a pair of scissors in the kitchen. Those are the only reasons for a less than 5 star review :)

Perfect spot for us

My husband and I enjoy our annual Door County getaway, and this was the perfect homebase for us to explore the peninsula. The location is great, the setting is lovely, and the cottage is comfortable.

Quiet and close to activities

The property was as advertised. It was equipped with everything we needed to spend our week in Ephraim, close to the beach, the park for hiking, and the restaurants of Ephraim and Sister Bay.

Perfect spot for our Door County stay

We have been coming to Peninsula State Park for many years and never realized these cottages were tucked into the Park just off Highway 42. The location was ideal, the price was reasonable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. Cozy is the right description, as you felt as if you were kicking back in someone's living room after a good hike. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay

Dear Park Place Cottages, We stayed last week in one of the cottages (Cedar) and wanted to say that we had a very nice stay. We’ve been coming to Door County for the past 6 years and have stayed somewhere different every time. We’re actually considering returning next year to Park Place Cottages. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the seclusion.

We stayed 2 nights and were very comfortable. Bathroom floor seemed like there may be some structural issues because it the linoleum floor was spongy.

Amazing Fall Biking Getaway

We just returned from our 3 night stay at Cedar Cabin. Location was absolutely perfect for biking directly into the park without having to take our bikes on and off a bike rack or pay an entrance fee into the park.Cabin had everything we needed and we really appreciated the extras like tissue, paper towel, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We also made use of our private fire pit on a cool autumn evening. Truly enjoyed our stay and we plan on returning.

Great location/charming cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay enjoying the most beautiful fall color right outside our door in the woods. Lovely walks in around the property as well as into the state park. It’s too bad that the Internet service is almost nonexistent, the barbecue was unusable as it only got to barely warm and the toaster didn’t work. These defects didn’t deter us from a truly memorable visit and we have only wonderful memories.

Streaming on Netflix and other apps isn't the best, however, you should still be able to get basic Internet. - We are happy to hear that you did enjoy your overall stay at our home!
