Ce confortable chalet de 1 chambre, 1 salle de bain fait partie du complexe de condominiums Salt Box situé à proximité des plages de l'océan et de la baie ainsi que des étangs d'eau douce. Il dispose d'un plan d'étage ouvert - cuisine, salon et salle à manger avec un accès facile à la véranda. Le porche donne sur les bois, agréable et paisible! La chambre de bonne taille offre un lit king, salle de bain complète avec une douche et a également accès à la zone de la véranda. Le chalet peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes, avec un canapé-lit double dans le salon et un lit double Aero. Le porche filtré a beaucoup de sièges et le chalet dispose également d'un gril à gaz pour votre usage. We were very thankful that the cottage did not smell of mildew and was clean. The drive to the beach was quick, and we were blessed with wonderful weather.

Great Cottage

A great spacious cottage minutes away from beaches and downtown wellfleet. The folks in the property management office were so helpful (we had an internet snafu that they quickly resolved). Beautiful serene location where you can listen to bullfrogs in the morning.

The screened porch overlooking a pine forest was especially pleasant. While other units were close by, they were empty during the week.Our only concern was that the sofa-bed was lumpy with springs poking out.

ok for a couple; possibly 3 if it's a child. Lacks privacy due to no drapes or shades on windows or doors. The TV is tiny and you'll need to provide your own Roku or Firestick- no satellite or cable provided. One small A/C unit in the front of cottage. Otherwise, two big fans needed to blow air around the cottage. No assigned parking spaces; it's a free-for-all sharing with the neighbors. Pine sap dripped on my vehicles for 2 weeks requiring car detailing back home. No picnic table or outdoor furniture to speak of if you do a BBQ. No washer/dryer. With some TLC and owner improvements, this could be a really nice and fun rental, but we were a quite disappointed due to several annoying inconveniences.

The location is close to the main highway, but it is not disturbing - only small issue was the road going West gets flooded after rain.

Great Place; Two hassles

Great place and I will go back. Gas heating unit wasn't working and had too cobble together heat from space heaters and oven. Also, my first time with this management group, long form emails from them and I didn't read the fine print that linens were not provided. When they found out they immediately ordered the linens for me. As I said love the cottage and will go in...in the off season after verifying that the gas heater is working.

Rodent Droppings

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, there was an ongoing rodent infestation for the 2 weeks we stayed, and I'm sure the next renters are dealing with it now. There were fresh poops on the kitchen counter and stove every night, and I found them inside the toaster and on the bedroom dresser too. I reported it immediately to management and they brought over a single poison pod to leave on the kitchen floor, which didn't solve the issue. I found other poison pods behind the fireplace so it's clearly an ongoing problem. I tried to hide bread and a pastry in the oven (turned off) one night, but in the morning it was chewed through and pooped on, so the oven isn't clean or safe either. The bed is ancient and sags significantly in the center, so you won't be comfortable. The bathroom vent makes a lot of noise but is actually clogged from above so it doesn't work. The curtains have been removed from the house because they were probably eaten by moths and so no effort has been made to replace them. You'll want to bring something to cover the windows because everything is visible. The neighbors will give you a hassle if you park on either side of the property. Just park in the grass across from the house. It's cheap for a reason. My wife insists we get a different place next summer.

We dropped off mouse bait within an hour of notifying us and then when you checked out we were informed of continued issues. Once you told us after checking out, the homeowner was notified and did a deep clean and had exterminators on site for better traps and scheduled treatments. We hope to see you again but for anyone looking to rent, we encourage you to notify us once discoveries are made so you can have enjoyable experiences. -DM

Beach vacation home base!

This place was GREAT! Perfect for the four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). We went to the beach and a pond every day, came back and got ready for dinner, and left again until it was time for the kids to go to bed. Loved going to Mac’s on the Pier, PB Boulangerie, and Provincetown. The bed was also comfy. The only downside is that it could use a deep clean.

Charming cozy cottage in a great location.

Comfortable and charming cottage. Open and airy. Perfect size for a young family or couple. Close to ocean beaches, Wellfleet town center, mini golf & drive in theatre. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare great meals. We enjoyed sitting in the screened sun room ,relaxing after our days on the beach. Looking forward to returning next summer.
