Ce chalet de plage a une belle vue sur l'océan Atlantique depuis le salon et la salle à manger du premier étage. Ce niveau a également une chambre avec un lit queen size, une cuisine entièrement équipée avec une porte vers le porche filtré et une salle de bain complète. L'escalier incurvé unique se compose de deux chambres, une avec un lit simple et l'autre avec 2 lits jumeaux. Le chalet offre à la fois un porche grillagé et une terrasse pour profiter des chaudes journées et soirées d'été. Vous êtes également à quelques pas de l'une des plages de Wellfleet Ocen. Les excellents équipements incluent Internet sans fil et la télévision par câble! Disponible hors saison 3 NUIT MINIMUM à 400 $ / nuit plus 150 $ de frais de nettoyage. The rooms were spotless, the queen bed comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. We are especially grateful to Mary Cornish for taking time from her work day to retrieve an item left behind. Thank-you Mary. One suggestion - clean the basement where the washer and dryer are located. I have recommended the property to my daughter.

We loved the location!!! The cabin does need some updating however. The dryer needs to be replaced as well as possibly the stove as one burner not working. The screen door was broken. We also thought the bathroom vanity and side of the stove needed a good cleaning. The kitchen sink drain was leaking however a plumber came the next day to address.

Wellfleet

The best thing about this house if the location. It is a short walk to the ocean beach and the views from the living room are beautiful. The village of Wellfleet is close by and it's a short trip up to Provincetown.We also loved the kettle ponds that are nearby. Great for a swim in the fresh water.The house is old but clean. It could, however, use some easy updates to make it even nicer. The bedroom blankets and comforters are old and thin. The deck is also lovely, but there is no outdoor furniture - only a few old chairs. The living room seating is also old and not totally comfortable.All communication is through the rental company - we had no contact with the owners. I had a few questions about the property that they could not answer.All in all, if you can overlook the things I mentioned, you will have a lovely time in a great part of the Cape.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We immediately knew this spot was just our mind of stay. Interesting stairway, wood paneling and crashing waves from every vantage. Just enough updating to make it a comfy stay. Access to the bike trail a bonus right across the road. Kitchen well equipped for avid cooks. Just a couple of recommends : New showerhead would be a lovely addition as the low pressure was kinda frustrating. A new master mattress would also be great! Beyond that a really sweet and affordable stay with amazing ocean proximity.

We keep coming back for one reason only-- the amazing view and location which is close to the beach and the town of Wellfleet. The property isn't very well maintained and needs basic updates and amenities. This year, someone brought in all the outdoor furniture and removed the screens in the porch before the last renters arrived!

Incredible

Not sure if it was the weather or time of the year, but this was easily the best stay we’ve had in Cape Cod in decades. The property is stunning. I could sit and watch the water for hours from the window. Cannot recommend enough!!

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home has a great location with amazing views and an ideal Cape Cod feel! We were even able to catch a surf competition at the beach in front of the house! My only complaints were that the bathroom ceiling and one of the rocking chairs were covered with black mold spots. Also, the master queen mattress was very firm. Overall a great value.

visit with our elderly father

This is a great throwback cape house--stuck in time, braided rugs, need to bring your linens, vintage dishware, twin beds in the attic (a/c's were helpful on hotter nights--thank you!), we loved it all of course. The proximity to the beach and Wellfleet National Seashore trails is excellent. The best part is the views of the water. The house faces east and you get a beautiful view of the sunrise. The town is about 10 minutes away by car, try the Beachcomber for a lively evening. I would say the only downside is that it was difficult for our 87-year-old father to access the Atlantic beach because of the steep dune decline.

Our 2nd visit to property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property belong to my wife's grandfather from 1964 to 1983. It has been a pleasure to be in that home again. A lot of memories everywhere and changes to the house and landscape. We are looking forward to visiting it again next summer. Thank you for fixing the outlets, we noticed! I'm sure you had a lot of requests for the air conditioners from other renters. We missed the nighttime cross breeze especially upstairs. Maybe there is a way to add a screen to the top sash so that it can be opened when you don't need AC? Here's is our wish list of maintenance work we hope you can do before our next visit:Fix the bathroom door so it will close properlyThe 2 fans in the living room do not workThe vacuum does not workThe 2 outside sensor lights do not work (yes the switch is on)The dishwasher needs repair.We had mixed reviews of the management company. Our first experience was positive and helpful with regard to getting the dishwasher going. The 2nd was disappointing in trying to get the vacuum going. We needed a bag for it but they said they couldn't help us, just like that. It seemed like we were bothering them. We would have vacuumed before we left.

2024 At 270 Ocean View Drive

The weather was good and the view as nice as ever.We noticed that all the electrical outlets were replaced, which was a great improvement. On Wednesday we received a message from Elise that the owners wanted to install two AC units: one in the downstairs bedroom and one in the upstairs bedroom. We arrived home from the beach at 3:30 or so and Elise had just finished installing the units. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, especially as the upstairs does get hot during the day. It took a few hours but the temps in the bedrooms became more comfortable.While the home gets warm during the day, by early afternoon the deck does not get the late afternoon sun and generally there is a wonderful ocean breeze that cools everything down.The vacuum cleaner does not work. A new broom and dustpan would be helpful.A special thanks to Elise!!We are looking forward to next year!!Helen & Pat

Wellfleet Heaven

This was a true Cape Cape Cottage. Nothing fancy but comfortable. It lacked a DVD player listed and the tv is very small. Location of washer and dryer had a lot to be desired and lighting to get to it was very poor. The view was magnificent made better by the screened-in porch and deck. It is definitely on our rent again list.

An Appalling Stay

I recently had the misfortune of staying at [Property Name], and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a vacation rental. The property had NO AC, and the temperature was a constant 90 degrees downstairs and even hotter upstairs. Despite our request for a window unit to cool the property, the property manager refused to bring one, making it unbearable to stay and forcing us to leave 3 days early. Additionally, there were absolutely no linens provided, and every single dish was greasy and dirty, requiring us to wash everything before use. The management company was extremely unresponsive and unhelpful, and after expressing our extreme concern about the conditions, they refused to compensate any part of our stay and left a very nasty review on my VRBO profile. To make matters worse, you have to sign an unnecessarily lengthy lease agreement before staying. Not only was the property itself horrible, but the management company was even worse. I strongly advise against booking this property unless you want to ruin your vacation.

However, to say it is a 3-bedroom is a bit of a stretch. Also there is only one bathroom; an outdoor shower would really make things easier! We enjoyed the deck and the three-season porch, taking in the views, reading, practicing yoga, eating meals. Short walk to private beach with staircase.

The property is rustic with a lot of vintage furniture. The property could use a little more love from the owners. Basic maintenance would make the renters experience better. We had trouble with the refrigerator requiring a someone to come fix it. It might be time for a new one. The electrical outlets all need to be replaced, many will not hold a plug in them. It's also time for a new shower head.

A charming little cottage in an amazing location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from an amazing week at this very special house in Wellfleet. The location is unbeatable. We spent many hours on that deck taking in the spectacular view. This is a classic Cape style beach cottage with picture windows that allow you to appreciate the ocean from the living room couch. It has its quirks (loose sockets, tricky stairs, unsecured screens on the porch) and I would say it's a stretch to call it a 3 bedrooms as the top floor is more like one open space but the proximity to the beach and charm of the home conquers all. Based on a prior review we brought a power strip, a string of lights and our own beach chairs which we used on the deck and were glad we did so. Overall a great spot.
