It's a fun little cottage, not especially spacious but private which is nice. Air conditioner, functional kitchen (not that I really cooked while I was there), pretty much exactly as advertised. If they added an umbrella for the outdoor porch/seating area it would be amazing. It's nice to sit out in the morning but with the direct sunlight it can be a little too warm. It's a long walk from town, but if you rent bikes it's easy to get to.
This was myself and my partners first trip to ptown and this was a great spot! Not a place to host or hang, but perfect to crash and relax after full days at the beach and downtown. Highly recommend for an authentic cape experience.
The cottage is perfect for a couple. Small but with the cathedral ceilings it feels much bigger. Everything was very clean, the host was very easy to deal with, and the space is just as described. Would absolute stay again! Thanks for a great visit!!!
This is a nicely-located cottage, not too far from the beach and away from the town hubbub. It had everything I needed for a restful interlude -- especially a garden nook with a chaise for reading.
The cottage was so lovely and private. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to the market/cafe, and a 25 minute walk to downtown Commercial. The bed was comfortable. There were great ceiling fans and skylights throughout. Diane and Val were absolutely wonderful. Super knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Just as advertised - cosy quaint east end retreat.
Wonderful end of summer weekend at this cute cosy home. Itâs exactly as in the pics. Clean and simple. Hosts were just lovely - super easy to get in touch with! Highly recommend!
We were so comfortable at the cottage. Diane made us feel at home to use what we wanted. The neighborhood was quiet. Cape Cod is so lovely we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return. Thank you.
The cottage is located on a beautiful, quiet street. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a nice base for us to come back to each day. Some of the furniture and appliances were a bit dated. Also, the AC unit in the bedroom needed to cleaned (dust buildup & filter). Overall, we had a wonderful stay though!
This was the second time I stayed in Ptown's east end. I got to appreciate the quiet morning, but not long, walk to the center of town. Stayed with a friend who also enjoys staying in a neighborhood. This cottage was an excellent last minute find for our 4 day weekend trip. The cottage was comfortable and well stocked. There is one AC in the bedroom which was surprisingly strong enough to cool the entire place quickly even during some hot humid days. There are also ceiling fans. A nice bonus was the very large patio area. There is also a large parking space on the side outside the fenced patio. The owners were very nice, and quickly took care of one minor issue. Would stay again. Thanks Diane.
In the check in it was going to he a good stay Thought it would have been appropriate for the owner to meet me at the property But down from there Not me go to her office
The house was vintage 1950 in all aspects Furniture and such Both frig and range were painted white to hide ware and age Shower was old and parts rusted Towels were a mismatch well used Only one AC in bedroom Not that great TV in bedroom was old style tube TV !!!! Main TV had inadequate reception Parking was dangerous but sufficient Location described was not as expected
First, the hosts greeted me very warmly. The cottage was very clean and has all that you need. It is very well decorated. I like the photographs and paintings. It is located in the quiet East End of town, away from the noisy centre. It is quiet and I slept very well. The mattress is very confortable. And very important in Provincetown, there is a parking space. All in all, this cottage was a great choice and I strongly recommend it.
Very comfortable, plenty of natural light, made a few simple meals there. Parking spot is very helpful too. It is walking distance to town, restaurants, etc. Private gated entrance, we felt safe keeping our bikes there too.
Cozy cottage very well appointed with a comfy bed and plenty of hot water. Skylights allow you to stargaze as you fall asleep. Quiet and Private. The courtyard with table was a nice place to start the day with coffee and the courtyard was a great place to nap in the late afternoon and catch some sun before heading out for dinner. Perfect location if you bring or rent a bike as we did. I would definitely stay at this property again.
The perfect little cottage to have as you explore Provincetown. Had all the amenities you would need for your stay and just a quick 15 minute walk from the town center.
This immaculate cottage is close to the heart of Provincetown's tourist life, yet it feels secluded and quiet. It even has a fenced and gated courtyard with patio table and chairs. It is very near other houses, but you don't notice once you're inside. Walk to shopping and nightlife. One block from beach. We found the bed too hard, but others might like a firm mattress. Overall we had a very enjoyable visit.
My husband and I rented this cozy cottage for a week. It was great! Comfortable bed. Beautiful patio where we ate breakfast every day. Great parking and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful.
This property is super clean; thoughtfully put together; and will meet the needs of a singleton or a couple wanting a getaway. Hosts were the friendliest and most helpful folks. Would highly recommend, and would love to revisit!
Air conditioning & fans keep the cottage cool; the parking space is a boon for allowing easy access to the car & beaches.
Notes: It does take about 20-25 min walking to reach the edge of "downtown" Commercial St., so I would not recommend this property for folks with mobility issues. Also: the beautiful skylights do not have blackout shades, so bring an eye mask.
Cozy small unit. Good for one or two. Lots of sunlight with skylights in bedroom, living room and kitchen. Kitchen adjoined to living room, with small dinning table in kitchen area. Older appliances. Standard kitchen items. Standard bathroom with small shower for one. Window AC unit in bedroom. Cottage situated next to a larger single family 2-story house with conjoined patio area. Small patio table with 2 chairs. Re-cycle bin and garbage container next to unit on the side. We noticed the cottage 'shook' when large trucks went by on Bradford street. Lots of light comes into the bedroom in the morning because of the ceiling skylight and thin shades. Good if your an early riser. The owners are just down the street and are very nice and helpful, always available. Excellent internet connections in the unit, if your doing any computer work. If you enjoy walking through a pleasant and well landscaped neighborhood to the main restaurants and attractions on Commercial street, its great. A bike makes that go much faster. I would say price/value ratio is more on the 'pricy' side given the value.
Loved the charming, beachy vibe of this darling cottage. The exposed beams in the ceiling gave the place a nice openness and it was just enough space for my Wife and I. And the Hosts? Couldnât ask for a warmer, attentive, more welcoming couple. Stopped by their place for something and they invited us to view the Portuguese Parade with them, which just happened to be passing by. Very cool. Truly a wonderful pair with a sweet little rental.
