Had a great time

Beautiful view. Nice area just in front to sled. Biggest issue is ad said 3 bedroom but it is only 2. Minor issues, toilet paper and paper towels are extremely thin. Hot water shower only lasted 2 people. I would definitely do it again.

Great view but driveway is very steep

The property is nice and convenient with the available washer / dryer. The mountain view from the balcony is gorgeous. However, the driveway is incredibly steep, probably the steepest of all places I've ever stayed. With snow and ice, it's dangerously slippery, especially for younger kids (5 and under) or older folks to walk up/down the driveway. We had a bigger roller luggage and it was tough to pull it uphill to the door in slippery ice. We knew we'd need snow chains to get here on snow days, but the steepness of the driveway surprise us even after reading a previous review that mentioned it.

Great customer service !

Happy Morning🙃 Let me just start by saying, we made a mistake an booked a day later. We did not realize until we were check-in at the lobby. The gentleman in the front desk was extra nice and got us in a day earlier. Thank you again! However, we have some insights about the cabin. The view was amazing from the cabin, wide open space definitely for a small family. Unfortunately, the carpet smell was pretty intense. The wifi did not work properly through our whole stay, thank got we got unlimited internet in our phones. Lastly, the dvd did not work at all. The whole tv system was too complicated to work and outdated. We did spend most of the time outside but it did affected the stay when we were together inside as it was a hot weather week. Overall, the location was great. No more than 8 mins from the village and the prime activities from Big Bear. Hope this helps! Catalina & family

Overall great experience

I would definitely recommend this property and would return. Overall, the property was clean, however, there was a weird mold smell in the kitchen area, probably from the carpet. Other than that everything was great. Cabin has great views, big windows and a nice sized deck. Our family enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back.

Good stay, overall.

First, let me start off by saying the pictures reflect the property well. The home has beautiful views, it's clean, heaters work amazing, and the fireplace is huge. We did think the fact that the wall-to-wall carpet stretched all the way through the bathroom, and right up to the snowy front door was odd, and my fiance wasn't thrilled about the family pictures everywhere (I guess it is someone's home, after all:) , but it was a cozy, sweet home by and large. Our only significant gripe was that there was no indication about the steep driveway up to the door, which was covered with ice and snow. The roads were clear at the time, so we didn't have our chains on. Now, I did read that renter is responsible for clearing off the snow, so we were prepared for that possibility, however the shovel was at the top of the driveway, and we were below! Our SUV had no luck getting to the top before we were able to clear off the ice and snow. There is a spot below to park, but is was pretty sketchy to try to climb up the icy driveway, let alone having my 78-year-old father with a bad back try to accomplish this as well. Not sure what solution could be made here, but it wasn't too ideal, and a bit of a stressful way to start the stay. I would recommend this property, just be aware of the logistical issue.

Awesome!!!

Great cabin for us!!! It was soo cozy!! Kitchen was open & big!!! The queen bed was incredibly comfortable!!! It was nice to have the washer/ dryer just in case it was needed. The views were spectacular & the fireplace was soo big( we like to make roaring fires). The price was very reasonable.. we loved it soo much that we stayed an extra night. Staff was awesome!!! TY for an amazing getaway in Big Bear!!!

Birthday getaway

Check in was simple. House is close to everything. Kitchen cabinets very unorganized . Things were just thrown in cupboards everywhere. Linens in closet appeared unwashed. Balcony is the best part of the house. Beautiful views. Overall we had a great time but pictures on sight are deceiving.

Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
