Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the beachfront location, cleanliness, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and, most importantly, had a wonderful vacation with your grandchildren! We sincerely apologize that the shower temperature was not working properly and that you were unable to find a comfortable temperature. We were unaware that the temperature was still not correct following our recent maintenance work. We will have someone come out to take a look and make sure the issue is properly addressed. We’re also sorry the mosquitoes and flies were an inconvenience during your stay. We truly appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear that, overall, you had a great time. We would love to welcome you and your family back again in the future!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am deeply sorry for the frustrating start to your stay, from the lockbox confusion and the unexpected air conditioner leak to the issues with the bed. This falls well short of the seamless experience we strive to provide. We were unaware of the attic AC leak, as no previous guest mentioned it. The attic AC unit has since been serviced and thoroughly inspected to prevent any future leaks, and we are addressing the headboard and bed frame with appropriate personnel to have it firmly secured. Regarding the bathroom supplies, while our listing notes that guests are responsible for bringing their own personal items—with any initial stock left by cleaners provided purely as a courtesy—I apologize if this policy was unclear or added to your inconvenience upon arrival. We truly appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention so we can improve. Despite these hurdles, we are glad to hear you enjoyed our prime beachfront location and pet-friendly accommodations.

We are pleased you enjoyed the cottage and its view; however, several concerns must be addressed. You remained past the designated 12:00 p.m. checkout time, and the property was left in poor condition, with popcorn, crackers, cookies, and clothing scattered on the floor and between the couches. As stated in the policy provided with the contract, “Guest(s) shall furnish bed sheets, towels & blankets... paper and soap products.” While it is a courtesy when the cleaner supplies these items, she reported leaving one set neatly folded in the dresser and another in the closet. These were available for your use, yet instead, they were bundled into a ball and placed back in the dresser. Additionally, the reservation was made for a specific number of guests, but more individuals were present at the property, which is not permitted. Regrettably, it was not a pleasure to have you as a guest.

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay and appreciated the space, location, and bay views. We'd like to clarify that because we are a pet-friendly rental, we recommend guests bring their own blankets and linens. While our cleaners often leave sheets and paper products as a courtesy, we can't guarantee those items, which is why we communicate that recommendation. We have not spoken about additional vehicles but there were parking up the street. Unsure who you have spoken to. Thank you again for staying with us!
