The location was great! Property owner was very nice! She even sent us a video from her camera of a bear tearing into the trash can the first night we were there. I was a little disappointed that the view was not unobstructed like the pictures on the listing. I do realize the pictures could have been taken years ago or in a different season. There were some things in the house that needed fixing. The doorknob on the lower level bathroom was about to fall off. The vent in the same bathroom did not work. One of the doors to the bedrooms downstairs would not close all the way due to settling. I did let the owner know and she asked if we wanted someone to come fix it while we were there or if it would be ok to wait until we left. The only other thing that wasn’t a huge deal because the weather was good, was the thermostats had notes that said not to lower below 72 degrees in summer or higher than 72 in winter. It did make for some rough sleeping because I like a colder room at night. All in all, I would stay here again if we were ever in the area again in the future.
