Les maisons de ville Wabasso sont aussi uniques que leur nom! Ce complexe dispose d'un grand pont avant donnant sur la crête de la montagne de la raquette à neige avec ski in / ski out. À quelques pas des pistes Hootenany et Flume et de la piste Widowmaker et du Soaring Eagle Lift. Emplacement merveilleux, niché dans les arbres entre le village central et South Mountain. Vous êtes à quelques pas du Village ou profitez du service de navette gratuit de Snowshoe! Ce service vous permet de profiter de tout ce que la raquette a à offrir, été comme hiver, sans avoir à déplacer votre voiture! Il y a une place de parking couverte sous le pont pour garder votre véhicule à l'abri des intempéries! 16 Wabasso est une maison de ville confortable de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. La chambre à l'étage dispose d'un lit king-size, d'un futon et d'une salle de bains privative. La chambre en bas a un lit queen et un matelas simple rabattable. Il y a un canapé-lit queen dans la salle familiale. Les autres équipements comprennent une laveuse / sécheuse, une cuisine entièrement équipée, un lave-vaisselle, un local à skis, des meubles de terrasse, une connexion Wi-Fi haut débit, une télévision par câble (écrans plats dans toutes les chambres) et un lecteur DVD.

Stay somewhere else!

The pictures make the home look clean and inviting and worth the cost. Nothing could be further from the truth. The heaters did not work, the fireplace did not work and the weather stripping on the patio door is old with gaps, which allows cold air in. The house was freezing, which is the last thing you want when you come home from a day of skiiing. We paid for 3 nights and left after the first night due to being so uncomfortable. Also, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes upon arrival and the coffee pot was dirty with used grinds, among other things. The owner denies all items brought to his attention and accused me of making false claims but take the time to read reviews back to 2016, which even then claim a broken fireplace. I can go on but hopefully this is enough to deter you from booking this home.

Ski vacation

This property is perfect for a group. Close to ski mountain, park right at the house, short walk to village and to bus location. Wish the fire place worked but everything else was good. Recommend

Location is nice to the mountain and walking distance to village. The gas fireplace doesn’t work. We like the location and look forward to coming back.

Perfect Place

This place is so wonderful. My family and I had an amazing vacation. The location is perfect, just down the street from a shuttle pick up so we didn't have to drive at all the entire week. The view is beautiful and the condo is so cozy and comfortable. We had an issue with the water the day we checked in but even though it was Christmas day, the owner responded immediately and attempted to get it fixed. When he couldn't, he got maintenance out the next day to get us up and running. We had such an amazing time, we'll definitely be back!

Great New Years Ski Trip

We had a wonderful time staying in Wabasso 16 for our new years ski trip. We stayed with our two kids (under 10) and another adult couple. Although I prefer to stay in the village, the location and size of the unit was just what we needed for our slighter bigger group. There was easy ski out access to Upper/Mid Flume. Shuttles to the village were nearby and quick. Our biggest complaint was that the new cleaning crew neglected to clean the unit before we arrived. Jeremy responded quickly and addressed the issue. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great location

This condo unit was clean, a short walk to the slopes (which you can see from the deck) and bus station. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and has a usable pantry. The living room was spacious and provided a nice place for all of us to relax after a long day of skiing. I would definitely stay here again

Home away from home

This property was perfect for our summer weekend away. The host and I had excellent, timely communication and he provided everything needed to give us an enjoyable and comfortable vacation! My priorities were safety, comfy furniture and a functional kitchen-my expectations were exceeded! We enjoyed the private location, dedicated parking and the gorgeous view from the deck! Thank you again!

Outstanding townhome, perfect location

We had a great time at Snowshoe! 16 Wabasso was perfect for our family. Proximity to the slopes was incredibly close. The townhome was clean, easy to get to, easy to check in and out, and had everything we could need. We’ll definitely be considering another trip back!

Hallmark Christmas

Great location, real mountain cabin feel, only thing that was missing was the snow! The owners kindly included a Christmas tree as we had specifically requested it. The only disappointment was that the fireplace did not work properly, we were only able to get it started on the first day and none of the subsequent days.

DISAPPOINTING & MISLEAD

With such a beautiful mountain, it is terribly disappointing when you book a property and do not get what is represented in the description. Upon arrival we found a broken chair, dirty carpet, broken cabinetry and countertops, MOLD on ceiling, rickety unstable railing, a large gap under door to balcony which kept main area very cold, NO WORKING TELEVISIONS, NO WORKING FIREPLACE, hot water for only (2) 5 minute showers and the exterior not maintained at all. Stairs and parking area were a solid sheet of ice which resulted in a terrible fall. There was NO reason for this as there had been snow or bad weather for weeks. This should have been cleared and salted! We would not have booked had we known any of this!!! Contact with owner led to an apology with a MINOR credit which was unacceptable and promise to look into. (Of course the day we were leaving!) Shame on us for not reading prior reviews which showed these items broken and unmaintained for quite some time. We do not recommend this property and hope no one else has to experience this.

Nice location

Nice location, bathroom, kitchen. Easy to use a washing machine and a dryer. Meanwhile TV and fireplace didn’t work. Carpets were very dirty.

Great getaway during pandemic

We wanted a quick and safe getaway with our college aged daughters since we were unable to see grandparents this holiday season. Snowshoe and this condo fit the bill. Overall, we felt pretty safe at Snowshoe. Everyone was masked, singles were allowed on lifts, and skiing/tubing lines encouraged social distancing. We ate all our meals at the condo, getting pizza take-out one night, which was very good. The condo was great. The beds were comfortable, showers were hot with great water pressure, the kitchen was fully stocked, the family room had a really comfy couch and large tv for watching movies as a family, there was ample room for ski storage and a large washer/dryer. Overall the condo and linens were clean (and we are picky about that). As mentioned in prior reviews, the carpet was stained, but really no more than I would expect in a rental condo. Our only complaint was that we were unable to start the fireplace. The igniter (as we were warned by the owner) was broken and we were unable to light the pilot with the lighters that were provided. My husband regularly uses a lighter for his gas grill with a broken igniter, but was unable to figure out the trick to getting the fireplace lit. The ski conditions were great and we even got 8 inches of snow while there. Be sure to check times on rental equipment return, which are not posted on the websites or rental agreements. Turns out they closed at 6pm,, so we had to return skis early the next morning to avoid extra charges.

Close to slopes, very convenient

Everything you need for a home away from home - comfy couch, big tv, easy ski home at the end of the day. Kids loved the upstairs bedroom with their own bath. Big kitchen. Close to Wildcat grocery.

Dangerous and dirty

I don't like giving bad reviews, I really don't. But this warrants one for several reasons: 1. Safety & broken things. They railing to the spiral stairs is rickety and held together with tape at the top. The bottom of the railing is warped and the whole thing is loose. This has been brought up in prior reviews, some before 2020, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be addressed. Two dining chairs have legs loose enough to drop a person if they lean the wrong way. There is a glass pane missing from the coffee table. This empty slot was inexplicably facing the couch (we turned it around). If someone had a hot coffee and forgot that there was an issue. they could drop it right through and splash/burn themselves. The fireplace is broken. I'm not sure there was gas running to it, as we tried to light the fire with a lighter (as recommended by the host) and nothing happened. We didn't smell any gas when we turned the unit on, either. There is no remote control for the upstairs television. We looked and tried the many on the main level. Nothing functioned. The stairs to the unit are a little wobbly in places. That's not the owner's fault, as I assume it's common space for the community. Just be careful, especially if it rains. 2. Dirty. The kitchen was not clean. There was a dusty handprint on the dishwasher, which had not been run and still had dirty dishes in it. The handprint looked like someone swished their hand around in the dirt outside and then used it to shut the dishwasher. The refrigerator door was covered with handprints. There was dirt on the floor. Even the bottle of 409 we found was (and I have no idea how this happens) covered in dirty splatters. We had to clean the cleaner. The carpet is a disgrace of stains and should be replaced. There were also multiple, dead flies on it. Those flies were also in the upstairs bedroom and bath. Then there were live flies with some flying ant-type friends who appeared on the ceiling when the lights were turned on. I spent some time with a broom, sweeping them away before I went to bed. Extra blankets had stuff stuck to them - candy? I hope it was candy. They badly need laundering. The rest of the bed linens and towels were fine. I should've read the reviews more carefully. The high star rating does not reflect reality. If I were the owner, I'd fire the cleaning staff, go do an inspection, and remedy the problems. Skiers who don't care about dirt and danger - maybe it'd be fine for you.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I bought this townhouse because I am obsessed with skiing. It was the best option for me to be able to get out of town quickly without going to Colorado or Utah. It's great for skiers, but has so much to do in the Summer too!

Gorgeous views, Ski in-Ski out, close proximity to the Snowshoe Village. Great outdoor activities in the Summer like swimming, hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing and more. Family friendly and all the amenities of being home.
