The condo was in a great location for the 4848 Festival, and was a great 3 bedroom option for the price. Guests should note there is no AC in the unit. The windows kept it comfortable but had to be shut at times due to rain.

Snowshoe Summit Condo

This condo is conveniently located near the village. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed Everyone had a great time and we would stay there again. If you have older guests staying that don’t ski they may might the steps to the village a bit daunting on icy days but younger people won’t have any problems

This unit was very nice and very clean and as advertised a great location. Unfortunately right before our arrival the dishwasher went out but the owner communicated when they found out. This was the most well stocked unit we have ever stayed in for all accessories.

Perfect location for walking to activities.

This was our third year staying at the Summit condos. The unit is roomy and nice for our little family. The big kitchen allows us to enjoy cooking our meals.

Wonderful stay

We had a very nice stay at this property. Easily accessible to the village, great Mountain Views, and shuttle service available. The place was very comfortable for 4 adults and a toddler. Had linens, towels, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. Would def recommend!

Great stay!

Prompt communication with owner and condo was nicely stocked with paper goods. The condo was recently updated. Super convenient to the Village—straight up the steps or catch a shuttle right in front. Also really appreciate the “glove/boot dryer” - it came in handy for sure. The fireplace made the place nice and toasty. Beautiful sunset Mountain View. Would stay again, we had a great time!

Wonderful except for one big issue...

We'd give this a five-star review if not for the unfortunate experience of arriving to find the unit had not been cleaned and our only options were moving to a hotel late at night or waiting for cleaning service the next day. We chose the latter. A partial refund helped alleviate our disappointment and we thoroughly enjoyed the unit and our stay.

Perfect minus the small details

My family (six adults and 1 baby) had a blast at snowshoe and exploring everything they have to offer! This cute little apartment fit all of us comfortably. It is a perfect place to touch down at the end of the night, relax by the fire place, watch a movie, and enjoy the beautiful view off the balcony. The beds were amazing comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious and clean! My only critique is that there weren’t enough bath towels for all six of six. There wasn’t enough dish towels to do the dishes. Lastly, the furniture could use some attention. The leather in the couches is peeling, the dinning chairs are broken, the chairs on the balcony are broken, and the pocket doors were poorly installed where they banged and got stuck as we tried to open them. Other than that, the space was perfect for me and my family. We had a blast!

Good location, disappointing experience

After a long drive to get to Snowshoe, checked in to the apartment and found it a mess from the previous guest. We were quite disappointed. Had to contact the owner and have the cleaner clean while we were there. The cleaner was good and had the place cleaned in about 1.5 hours. We found later that there was no hand soap at any of the sinks. Also no shower gel or shampoo provided. Also no hair dryer. I was at least expecting some soap for the price. I have stayed at much less expensive places and have gotten these. Bathroom doors are also quite hard to latch. The location was convenient to the slopes and a shuttle passed by right in front. There are steps that go up towards the village and close to the ski rental shop.

Perfect stay for a ski getaway

Our family of six just wrapped up a three-night stay at this condo. The beds were comfortable for our ski-tired bodies and the living area was big enough for all of us to relax when we came off the slopes for lunch and the evening. I love the decor in person as much as in the pictures - light and bright and restful to the eye. The kitchen was outfitted well enough for us to cook every meal with the food we brought. (As others have noted, the Wildcat grocery store is good enough for a few last-minute supplies, but it is a small store.) The location is the best of both worlds. We could wear our ski boots to walk up some stairs and across the parking lot to hit the slopes (or catch the shuttle to Silver Creek) and take advantage all the village has to offer, but when you look out the back of the condo, all you can see is the beautiful West Virginia mountains. The weather gifted us with snow, but on the one clear day, the sunset over the mountains was fantastic. I was surprised the next morning to see that the sunrise colored the horizon to the west and lit up the winter mountains with its rosy hues! Gorgeous. In addition to all of this, Charlie answered all of my questions during booking and our stay very quickly and helpfully!

Perfect location, very clean, just mattresses need replacing

The condo was impeccably clean, and just outside the village. Beautiful view as well, although obstructed a bit by trees. Only a couple of things i'd suggest addressing. The mattresses on the master bedroom as well as the 2nd bedroom were caving in at the center pretty badly - I personally couldnt get a good night's sleep even once. I had noted that a previous reviewer had mentioned the same issue, to which the owners responded saying they had brand new mattresses. But it's pretty clear the problem had not been addressed. Also it would have been helpful to note on the listing that some sort of a parking tag is required and supposed to be left on the counter. In our case, there was none, and we say notes on the building saying cars will be towed without the permits. I reached out to the owner and we were asked to print out a note and keep it on the dash - which wasn't really possible given you don't usually have access to a printer while on a trip. Finally as a helpful note to other visitors I wanted to note - most of the area, other than just the center of the village square - didn't have cell signal with either Verizon or AT&T or TMobile

Beautiful view, needs some attention

This property is located within a quick walk, up a 50 stairs and 300 yards to the main Snowshoe Village. The Western view is gorgeous, it is an end unit level 2, so one above and below, but on the walkin level, so entrance to the unit was easy. It was clean and well stocked with toiilet paper, plastic kitchen garbaage bags, Costco coffee pods, salt & pepper, basics. Problems: Leather sofa has a ruin arm rest, the light in the living room had a broken on off switch, so you had to literraly plug it into the wall to turn it on. The 2nd bedroom with a queen bed, the on off light / fan switch was broken, so IF you wanted the fan on you had the light on as well. The hall lights were no wired properly. First we thought they were burned out, then they came on. It took a while to figure out the required configuration to turn them on and off. There are large fill marks on the kitchen island granite. The master bed felt like your feet were higher than your head. The shades in the master bedroom were broken. The weather stripping on the front door window was falling off. The weather stripping on the slidding porch door was also falling off. We think we were able to reattach that. My adult son who is in construction management said it needed to be glued or nailed. The furniture on the patio should be replaced, it was old, sagging, and looked unstable / could collapse if you were heavy. One of the four dinning room chairs also needed to be reglued, and that was a safety issue if the chair collapsed. Snowshoe it self was fun. This is located at the TOP of the mounting, and the closest real grocery store is 45 minutes away. We didn't realize this. The local "groceryt store" had next to nothing in supplies, we arrived on Friday of Memorial day. It closed at 9 pm. We bought the last of the eggs, one bacon, 2 kraft cheese blocks, 1 ham, 1 turkey sandwich meats, 1 loaf of bread, there were 3 left, chips were plenty. No OJ, and 1 1/2 gallon of milk, NO butter. The gas station at the bottom of the resort was substantially better and well stocked, go there for your supplies. Summer is mountain biking time, so you can ride the ski lifts (they run 2 in the summer one of each side of the mountain) as a foot passenger, and it is unlimited rides, so that was fun. There is a lake at the bottom and it had water sports, canoes, water boards, a swimming area with guards, lots of fun activities for kids. There are 5 restaurants at the top.

Wonderful Christmas Getaway!

Wonderful spacious property in terrific location! Everything the village has to offer is just a very short walk from the front door. Very nice kitchen with everything we needed to prepare nightly meals after a day on the slopes.
